Flat Creek Enoteca
Nice place to enjoy a good meal with a glass of wine.
We made last minute Valentines Day reservations. It was our second time eating there. They had a special 3 course Valentine's Day dinner which was very reasonably priced at $55 for a Turf and Surf type dinner with a sparkling wine drink. Service was great and the manager checked on us. The only complaint was that we were seated in a small room separate from the main dining area. It had some equipment in it which was a small turnoff.....it might also been a little nicer if the lights could have been dimmed to match the main dining area. On the plus side it was a nice quiet experience.
My husband and I went for a weeknight dinner and really enjoyed the place. It's my second visit - first was with a girlfriend. We will definitely keep this @ the top of our "favorite places to eat" list!
Reservation for 2. 1 glass of water and carafe of water waiting. took 15 minutes to get 2 glass for water. I believe they forgot we were there. not super busy either. Ordered med rare and got well done steak. Pizza was burned to crisp on all edges.
Cheese plate with sample wines was good as appetizer. They cooked another steak (came out rare which was fine) but half the size of original and much worse cut. Wait staff nice but unattentive. been there before with much better food/service.
There’s hardly any place in Marble Falls to get an upscale meal but this place delivers. Excellent food and friendly service and some nice wine choices.
Don’t know why we waited so long to come for a visit? Much more than a wine tasting room.
My favorite place in Marble Falls! Outstanding menu, service and most important....wine!
Fantastic servers, beautiful ambiance, food is edible but not great. The pizzas are always good enough but the regular dishes have never been on par. I do hope they pick a few dishes for their menu that they can really nail.
Had a wonderful dinner with friends!! Food was amazing & all cooked in the wood fired oven & deserts were delicious! this place has the best food in Marble Falls ~ Wine - you couldn't ask for more!! Had fun! & will be back for sure.
Flat Creek Enoteca has great food, from salads to wood fired pizza to steaks and seafood. And the atmosphere is one of the best in Marble Falls. It's probably our favorite restaurant in the area. But They really need to go to waitressing school. If they could improve their service, it would be a definite 5-star place. They, along with most restaurants in the hill country, need to send their wait staff to Austin to get educated on how to wait on tables.
The pizza, salmon, vegetables and salads are 1st rate in every detail. Haven't yet tried the other menu items, but expect same level of quality. The table service staff and kitchen are as attentive and responsive as possible given the number of tables and diners they have to serve and cook for. That being true, the lag between ordering and arrival of wine and then meals is a bit sluggish...yet well worth the wait. All-in-all, this is an excellent addition to the dining scene in Marble Falls and one we will re-visit often.
Flat Creek Entoteca has a great selection of food and wine pairings that make this a really fun outing. Our kind waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful as well. However, we did have a couple of problems with our visit: 1) We waited an hour for our main courses 2) We asked for a small plate of fettuccine Alfredo pasta (no add'l proteins) for our two small children to share. When the bill came, we saw we were charged $24 for it. We verified with our waitress that was the price and she said it was. Overall, we still love coming here- the wine and the food are always excellent and we enjoy the experience.
food is very good, no tipping, like the white wine...friendly staff
When we arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation, there was one large table of people in the dining room. Upon checking in with an employee, we were taken to the bar and seated on barrel stave stools. When we asked to be seated in the dining room we were told that all tables were taken. We attempted to make the best of a very strange situation, but the stools were so uncomfortable we tried one more time to ask to be moved. The only option given was for us to sit at one end of a six top table that was "assigned" to two other people who were coming in later. We told the employee to cancel our pizza, ate our salads that were supposed to be Greek and drank 1/2 a glass of the truly awful bottle of wine paid and left.
We should have taken a picture, they won't be around long.
We planned a happy hour birthday celebration for a coworker and the staff helped me make it a great event! They took all my requests and made them happen.
I have also eaten dinner here with family and the food is delicious!
This was our first time here but we will definitely be back! Food was delicious (we had appetizer and split a pizza and salad). All were wonderful! Service was excellent and the owners were there to greet the diners and make sure you were well cared for. Prices were reasonable!
Staff seem to act like they didn't want to be there. Very awkward
Ambience excellent. Pizza has paper thin crust and it delicious. A bit pricy and service needs improving.
We had a reservation but were put into a closet sized room with a patio table, directly behind the live saxophone player. We sat for ten minutes without service and left, without any staff members speaking to us. We had driven over a hour to eat here and write review for a web site, after receiving a recommendation. The acoustics are poor and the staff seemed very unorganized, even though reservations are required and being busy seems to be there norm. Really disappointed we did not feel welcomed, the menu had promise.
Food was delicious - once we ate it- took over an hour to get the food and orders were wrong once they finally did come to table. So my advise is to go BEFORE you're actually hungry!
My first time to the restaurant. Lovely ambiance, great service and fabulous food. Not a busy night, but that allowed us to freely interact with other diners. Will recommend to others and will certainly return.
Good food, servers are attentive. Selection of wines from their vineyard which is pretty good for Texas wineries.
Naomi was FANTASTIC! She was knowledgeable, pleasant, and just the right amount of attention. The food was excellent. The wines were good. The Enomatic allowed for tasting of Reserve wines.
They were short on waiters, but they were still very quick and extremely helpful. The food was good and they had a great local wine list.
I'll definitely recommend to everyone
Cool place but no drinks other than promoted wines.
Good service, great pizza
Enoteca has gone from great to just good since their change in chef a few months ago. Their food was always original and exceptionally good. The Greek salad was still excellent, but the polenta and the brussel sprouts have gone from great to boring. The pizza is still good. The night we visited, they were very short staffed and the wait staff worked hard to keep up with business and still managed to be friendly and helpful.
Pizza was delicious and the waitress was friendly and helpful. She recommended several options. Reasonably priced wines. Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will return.
Great food, cheese, and wine. Went not knowing what to expect and came away pleasantly surprised.
Excellent food and wine selection! Since it was our first time we asked our Waitress for a recomendation. We had the flatbread, Avacados with parmesan cheese, ribeye and pork chop. Flatbread was great, the Avacaods were a suprise but the paring was very good. I had a little trouble with my ribeye being over cooked (asked for rare, came mid-rare to medium) but they replaced it quickly without hesitation. We were extreamly pleased with everything. This is a no tipping establishment but the service was to a standard that I felt and additional tip was appopriate.
Very disorganized from the Hostess to the waitress.
Excellent food as always. Gluten free pizza some of the best we've had. All ingredients very fresh and flavorful.
This is a dining experience at a winery's tasting room. We sat on the back patio and enjoyed a late afternoon bottle of wine accompanied by some very creative appetizers. There are 4 categories of appetizers and you can pick 2 or 3 ingredients within each. There is a bread with spreads, crackers/bread with cheeses, or wood-fired vegetables (can't remember the 4th). We picked the vegetables--they were creative and delicious. Looking forward to returning and trying other choices, too.
Had some issues with an unfriendly hostess. However, once we were finally in our seats the waitress was friendly and helpful. The food and wine were great. The view is meh.
The service was not up to the usual standard on a busy spring break Thursday but once the food came it was excellent
What stood out? I guess it was the fact that we were seated, waited 15 minutes, and nobody ever even got close to the table. Not even a glass of water. NOTHING! I had to rate the food one star just to get to write this review, but I have no idea how the food is at this establishment.
Always a good choice! Perfect place for good food and wine, and quiet conversation. Ample vegetarian options, and nicely-paced, no-rushed friendly service.
Good food and pleasant atmosphere. This was our second time to dine here. Both have been great.
One of the best meals I've ever enjoyed.
The steaks were perfectly prepared and very tender. The grilled shrimp and polenta over the top delicious!
Our third time here and disappointed with the service each time. Ruins a nice dining experience.
Not sure why management won't take the time to train the waitstaff.
