   Magnificent experience. Seated promptly. Wait staff came immediately. I ordered fried chicken thighs. Super big pieces and crunchy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. Also tried the fried deviled eggs. I was skeptical at first but they are so delicious, you have to add the hot sauce. Couldn’t stop eating them. The charred okra with bacon. I love okra, but never had it charred, after eating them charred i don’t them any other way. Lol! Everyone was nice, manager came to the table to make sure we were happy with everything, which we were. We only waited 10 minutes for our food and came out piping hot. Definitely will be back. Food is not expensive.

   Great food and service. We were seated immediately. I had wondered if Kevin Johnson ever came to the city to visit. A few minutes later Kevin Johnson comes walking in there. Definitely a nice experience

   It was a beautiful family experience. The manager, service,food just the overall experience was outstanding. I’m coming back for sure and I’m telling everyone I know

   Great atmosphere, Great Food along with great service. Also had a chance to Chop it up with KJ. can't wait to visit again.

   This is my Second time here I come back because the service and Food is exceptionally good. And I like the drink with the frozen pineapple in it!

   Fixins is a great atmosphere and the food was amazing. I think our food came out no more than 10 minutes after we ordered. We had a great time for my dad’s birthday and we will be back.

   This was the first time we dined at Fixin's Soul Kitchen Detroit. Upon entry, we loved the blackness everywhere from the pictures to the books to the patrons. It was busy however, not packed. I received my food before I received my sweet tea and separate shot of whiskey. That threw me off... The greens were a little spicy. Other than that, the food was great!

   A restaurant! I'm so glad I decided to go. I loved everything about it from the food, the service and most of all the black vibe. I'll be back often!

    Well this my second time here my waitress was kind of sassy I forgot her name also she came back to the table one time and that was to get are order it was a Saturday so I was assuming cause she had a lot tables heyyy . My food was good my fried chicken delicious and collard greens the best but my Mac and cheese and yams was not good yams was dry like they was sitting out and the Mac and cheese has a not so chesssy taste
