Dinner was just not good. The Amish chicken was served cold, as were the potatoes and the corn was old and hard. We asked them to replace with the steak frites instead, which seemed like a safe bet but it was tough and hard to chew even at medium. Flank steak is not a good cut for steak. The lobster roll was awful. The lobster was very tough and chewy, and didn’t even taste like lobster. The lobster was very old and fishy. We went here because it had such great reviews but after tasting three subpar dishes we can’t recommend it at all.

Hands down one of the worst dine-in meals I have ever had in my 12 years in Chicago. Ordered ceviche as an starter and split mussels / malt-vinegar fries. Ceviche was bland and the accompanying tortilla chips were stale. Mussels / broth were way overcooked and blown out. Had a fishy / sandy taste and texture as if they were old and not properly cleaned. A good portion of the mussels did not open properly. Cream in broth was cooked too hot and wound up splitting, which should not happen if cooked appropriately. Waitress was rather unhelpful. Did not have knowledge of beer available so had to go get a menu, which I would think should have been given to us along with the food menus? When we asked which mussel broth type she preferred of the 4 selections, we got a shrug and told she didn't eat mussels, which is fine, but could have countered with the selection(s) that she sees most other customers order. For a $100+ meal, I would not come back and would not ever recommend.

Very nice seafood selection, novel drink selection and nice apps. We enjoyed the burrata and oysters which was delish. Menu was well rounded for a limited offering. Ambience was enjoyable and conversational but lively. Service was excellent. Fisk is in the Monoco Hotel that offers convenient parking right next door if needed. Cute bar area as well. Prices are a bit high for the portions but it's what you'll find in the city.

Straight to the point- our service experience was beneath my standards as our waiter was basically rushing us at every point within the dining process- What was the hurry?we found this person very intrusive to our dining experience There was no reason since there wasen't a line outside of the door. My husband and I chose Fisk &Co. based on a recommendation from a friend and the location close to the Chicago Theatre. Prime location for sure! Everything was good but not great. Our waitress refused to give recommendations on anything food or drink or even what was popular among guests in the past. The classic mussels were good, very well cooked but we wished we’d ordered one of the options with a little more kick. The salmon and halibut were perfectly cooked. Didn’t love the red sauce on the halibut though. The tiramisu desert was very average. Really wanted to like everything more for the price.

Fisk & Co has gone downhill precipitously. I ordered the beet salad. Although the kale was fresh and plentiful, there was scarcely any beets, praline hazelnuts, or ricotta salata. I regularly take clients and colleagues to breakfast and lunch but Fisk & Co continues to disappoint. Plus there are so few other customers in there that it’s surprising that they don’t try harder to satisfy the few customers they have.

As someone who consumes oysters on a regular basis, Fisk & Co. has the best tasting, freshest oysters in Chicago hands down! You can’t go wrong with their extensive options of mussels and pair it with truffle frites. Just overall delicious high quality food, great atmosphere and the service here is bar none exceptional.
