Brunch at Fisk & Co was delicious! The chorizo scramble was amazing and it came with toast, avocado, and hash browns. Definitely worth it! Bf got the mushroom, bacon, swiss omelette and also really enjoyed it. Their bloody mary’s are a tiny bit spicy but still very good. Only downside was they don’t have straws available. They should invest in the paper straws or the spaghetti straws like some other places downtown. Overall it was a delicious breakfast and we’ll be back!
Great midweek meal
Went for a business dinner. Clean, bright decor and relatively quiet made for easy conversation. Food was good, but service was pretty slow. Appetizers arrived before first round of drinks and then had to ask multiple times for multiple items like hot sauce and ice.
Great place for a nice lunch. Hand the Mussels and the other person had the lobster roll. Both were delicious! I would definitely go here again.
First time dining at Fisk and Co and we had a good time. It took a bit of time before a waiter came around, but it gave us time to look at the wine menu. Unfortunately, they were out of the one bottle of wine we really wanted. Ordered mussels to start. They tasted fresh and delicious, only two of them weren't opened. BF had the lobster roll, which he really enjoyed. It came with a generous helping of lobster and fries. I had the fish and chips, and despite other reviewers, the fish tasted great and the breading wasn't too much. Fries were nice and hot as well. Only thing we really didn't like was the Garlic Aioli our waitress suggested. Didn't taste garlic-y at all and was way too thick of a sauce. Overall, we liked the place and will give it a try again soon - probably for brunch or happy hour.
Excellent food, excellent company!
the service was excellent our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered reccomendations
Wonderful food, even better service. Will certainly return in the future.
This was the second time I have been to Fisk & Co as it is very convenient to the theatre district. We arrived on time for our 6PM reservation and were seated at a banquette, although in my profile I said no banquettes. Also we were seated next to a very loud table. I asked that we be moved and the hostess kindly moved us to a free standing 4 top table which was more comfortable. Our server was excellent and the food was fair. My one complaint are the prices and what little you get for them. We both had Fish and Chips for $23 which is quite high for this. The problem was we both were served only 1 small portion of fish which was mostly batter. It was tasty however any time I've ordered Fish and Chips, you are served at least two pieces of fish. We order one round of drinks, one glass of wine, split a dessert and the bill came to over $120 for two people before tip. I consider that excessive for this restaurant which while is pleasant, is not worth over $120 before tip. If I had planned to spend that much, I think I would've tried somewhere else.
The seafood was not fresh- I had to send my fish and chips back bc the quality of the fish was so poor. The oysters were also sub par.
Probably best for the mussels - the halibut with ginger beurre blanc was a bit salty and disappointing. Staff were very friendly and proactive so open to giving it a try again.
A delightful meal from start to finish. The arugula and cauliflower salads were divine. My husband's steak frites had the crispiest fries I've ever tasted. My mussels were large, plump and were perfectly prepared without any of the briny flavor you get at other restaurants. Excellent, attentive service. We'll be back!
Love love love the oyster happy hour!
Generally branch out more, but I ate at Fisk two days in a row because I had such a good experience. Had some of the best mussels I’ve ever had, with mussels to match. Excellent service all around, great wine recommendations, and all around a wonderful experience.
I also want to give a shout out to management and staff for being incredible attentive without ever being overbearing. Whenever I needed something the staff either predicted it ahead of time or were there right when I looked up. Tough art and really well done.
Highly recommend for solo dining, business meals or good food with friends!
Great service, excellent menu. The mussels were excellent but next time I will order to lobster roll!
A quiet place for weekend brunch but the waiter keeps come and ask to take our plates even we are still eating...
Don't miss the frites! Cocktails are expertly crafted, and service is friendly and knowledgeable. Always very accommodating with my food allergies.
This used to be the South Water Kitchen which has since closed. Thank goodness. We visited for lunch, and were not disappointed at all. Service was amazing - warm, attentive and sincere. I ordered the fresh pressed green juice with cucumber, spinach kale and ginger - delicious. I was disappointed that they don't make the beet juice anymore. Our entrees were delicious - the cobb salad with poached salmon and the smoke salmon BLT - both well prepared, well seasoned and just right. What a great improvement from the previous restaurant at this location. We plan to return - it was a wonderful experience
We had a very positive experience and a personable server. She made excellent suggestions. The mussels and frites were some of the best I have had. The other fish entrees in our group also got positive reviews. This would be a good location for lu ch or dinner in downtown.
Food and service was good. Portions way too big for lunch, and priced accordingly.
Food was great and so was inside of the restaurant itself. Great options for food and drinks. But Paul our server, was absolutely amazing. We are from out town and he took great care of us even though we were too early for lunch and he gave us the best service and suggestions. Great conversation and suggestions for other places too. Really enjoyed it
Mussells were excellent but food were not well coordinated to be served.
Can't say enough about the fantastic, friendly service at Fisk & Co. The food is fantastic, but I come back for the relaxed and warm atmosphere created by the staff. It's a great balance that makes for a wonderful experience each time I visit. Thanks, all!
I selected Fisk as they offer gluten free meals which is super.
I had omelette with potato and gf toast 😁 it was delicious.
We enjoyed our meals. High quality ingredients, to be sure. A bit of a glitch w some bar service but this was tended to quite well. When in the area, we will be back.
Fisk and Co. is a very solid spot in the loop! You wouldn’t know it’s attached to a hotel. It’s Primary focus is seafood, but there are other good options for vegetarians and non-seafood eaters. The atmosphere is cool- great views and the space is well laid out and decorated. My favorite part about this place is the service. From the second you walk in to when you leave, you feel taken care of. The menus seem a tad overpriced, but the food is good. Don’t miss out on the Pretzel monkey bread! It had a crunchy top with sesame seeds and salt, and the inside was warm and doughy with a hint of honey. Overall, this was a very positive dining experience for the area.
Man, this place had so much potential and just totally blew it. Honestly, most of the food was pretty good. The curry mussels were delicious, my Salmon was very good and one person in my group got the Gnocchi which was good too. But my wife ordered the Cauliflower Salad and it was so overdressed it was literally inedible. I am the opposite of a picky eater and I couldn't stand more than a bite or two of it and she hardly touched it as well. Compound that with the fact that we showed up on a very slow Monday night and the service was so slow. We got stuck there way longer than we wanted just because it took so long in between being checked on. It was also very expensive. Now if it had been good quality all around, I don't mind paying for that. But don't serve me crap and then overcharge me for it.
Outstanding oysters and mussels!
Very good food and knowledgeable and attentive servers.
Such friendly service!! Had a very good oyster selection and definitely want to go back for happy hour. The mussels were amazing and they brought be all the extra bread I wanted.
The menu on Open Table bears no resemblance to what the restaurant was actually offering! Many different entrees among the small number of selections, no Prix-Fixe option either. But all in all this was a very good experience. My wife loved her mussels. My salmon was good, though nothing special considering the high price. Good location for a pre-theater meal.
Wonderful ambience! The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. She was able to make recommendations to us and was very engaging. Great location and walkable from our hotel. We were seated right away. There were sufficient vegetarian options for our party to choose from as well as traditional options. We’ll definitely go again.
Have eaten virtually every meal (brunch, lunch, dinner) there over the past two years, and they never disappoint. The frites are amazing and are served with many dishes or on their own. I've had all of their various mussel dishes and each was amazing. This month the saffron/tomato mussels were incredible.
Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. They were a comadating to my toddler.
Service minimally acceptable. Told of no seating in bar, as the lounge couches and tables were “ reserved”. So went elsewhere for drinks, only to return to find the same couches and tables empty. Service was friendly but wine pours seemed skimpy. Not enough bread brought to table, taking a long time to even get it. Mussels great as was salad. Dessert was terrible. Supposedly a “ crumble”, more like soup with a little granola. I dine out frequently and am generally a reasonable individual, but this restaurant is so out of line , price-wise , with only acceptable food and service.
Oysters were great.
We had a nice lunch of fantastic lobster roll and buratta salad. Lobster roll filled with perfectly cooked lobster. Nice wine list. Service excellent. Highly recommend at least for lunch. Not a typical hotel associated restaurant. They have many mussel with frites options.
Some of the best mussels I've ever eaten. My friend thought the same. I had the ones in a coconut curry sauce. Nice ambience. Not too noisy.
Go for the mussels and frites. The curry mussels are the best.
The meal was great. Love the tables and street view. The service really great as well. It does get really loud but that’s because the other guest were having a great time!
