Half the menu was out for the day so we left. Very nice ambiance though and the server that we had for the 5-10 minutes we were there was excellent

Fish House Vera Cruz in San Marcos has been a favorite for many years. However, we got to where we would go to San Diego and the coast to eat. My husband & I have gotten older & don't like to drive as far, (we live in San Marcos). We returned to our old favorite & it is better than ever! Wondering why we drove so far for food that was no better! Guess that old saying the grass is always greener can also apply to a restaurant! Thank you for maintaining your high standards all these years!!

Great food and service. First time back in years after moving out of the area. Will make it a point to return. It's worth the hour long drive to get there.

We had another amazing meal at Fish for Cruz! I ordered the lobster, my husband had the seafood skewer, and we shared the seafood salad—everything was absolutely phenomenal. The lobster was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the skewer had a great mix of fresh, tender seafood. The seafood salad was the perfect light and refreshing complement to our meal. Their selection is always impressive, and the quality never disappoints. Highly recommend for any seafood lover!

I celebrated my birthday with friends here. The food was delicious. The potatoes were a bit dry but good. The Shrimp & Scallop skewers I has were delicious. Our Waitress was excellent. She checked on us often and was very pleasant. Only negative thing was the bathroom could have been cleaner. In the stall I was in it was pretty clean except around and under the garbage can. Wet paper etc under it and on the floor
