The service was excellent! One of the people at the table was on a very restricted diet in preparation for a surgical procedure. The waitress was very personable knowledgeable and patient with him offering many suggestions and checking on ingredients! The food was delicious and we enjoyed the evening with no problems!
Our server was excellent. Friendly and attentive. Firepoint Grill is nicely decorated in a modern style. Menu is seasonally themed, along with adventurous and creative plays on the classics. Fresh ingredients and fast service is my experience. Only drawback, noise level can get a bit high. Otherwise, it’s the place to be with friends on a Saturday night.
Getting tired of the same old SEASONAL VEGETABLES, which is a combination of corn, peas and
edamame. I have the strip steak, which didn't look like a steak. It was properly cooked, but seem to
The atmosphere is great.
Soup was cold . Drinks and dinner were very pricey .
Enjoyed the whole experience. Had a group of friends and we just ordered lots of appetizers and had some wine. The yellowfin tuna and avocado appetizer is a standout! Service was just attentive enough without being pushy — which was ideal.
Enjoyable experience for dinner date. Service was outstanding and we love the ambiance. Prices are a bit high for the quality of food. I haven’t found anything exceptional on the menu.
Our server was very good. We also enjoyed getting a free dessert since we were celebrating my birthday.
Never dissapoints for small lunches to larger parties for Dinner.
It was a Sunday around 3pm. They gave us a brunch menu. I did not really want breakfast at 3pm. The other options were few. I would have preferred more food options at 3pm. Otherwise good.
Gina was our server and she was lovely. Sweetheart of a girl and excellent service!
Food is very average but priced like a gourmet meal. Poor value for the quality of food.
We enjoyed our dinner. We arrived early and were accommodated immediately. We asked fir a table near the tv to watch the football game and the host went out of his way to make certain we were happy. My husband enjoyed the olives appetizer and Prime Rib dinner. I had the tuna tartare which was very fresh. It filled me so I ordered a crab cake sandwich which was a bit over cooked but still tasty. Our waiter provided excellent service.
The menu looks promising but we were very disappointed with our meal. I ordered the watercress, watermelon and feta salad for starters and while the accompanying bacon was delicious, the watercress had tough and chewy stems and the salad dressing was almost inedible. I had my husband taste the dressing and both agreed that it tasted like it was made with strained and repurposed deep fryer oil. I don’t think that the kitchen does that but that’s the taste we imagined when we tasted the salad. My scallop entree came with exactly three, moderately sized scallops on a bed of sautéed asparagus, mushrooms and bacon bits. The scallops were passable in flavor but the vegetable mix was so highly salted that again this dish was inedible. My husband’s French dip sandwich was a better bet although the fries were pale, limp and lukewarm. All in all it was a disappointing meal. One bright spot was our waitress who was extremely kind and attentive.
Overall good, the food was a bit over spiced.
I had ordered the 14 oz. ribeye. It was chewy and lacked seasoning— definitely not worth $41. I’d rather pay an extra $20 at a high- end steakhouse where I know it’s going to be cooked properly, and melt in my mouth. It was served with the “seasonal vegetable”, succotash (who eats that anymore?), which tasted like it came from the frozen aisle of a grocery store. Service and ambiance were good, but overall, very disappointing
Enjoyed restaurant. Upgrade over “corporate chains”.
David was a great waiter and Maggie was an awesome bartender. Food was good.
Good service. The food is mediocre and overpriced.
The ambiance and service were great, but the food was nothing special. The salad was doused in dressing and the other entrees were lacking flavor. We had high hopes since it looked inviting from the outside, but we wouldn’t go back for anything more than drinks and appetizers.
I liked the ambiance walking in, but when we were sat at our booth, we sank down to where we were eating at chest- level, which is awkward. Also, the table kept sliding when one would get up or down.
The lobster bisque had a few pieces of roasted corn, and the base was a nice flavor, but I wished it had actual pieces of lobster. I could taste the sherry, cream, and maybe a hint of lobster. I was hoping for more, and a little let down. The Wedge salad was just ok. I wish I could say more. My friend had the vegetable stir fry. She seemed to like it. It was pretty to look at and a good portion size for an entree.
I’m not sure that I enjoyed the atmosphere enough to try going back.
New Year’s Eve. Busy night.
My husbands steak and crab cake were excellent, however my linguini pescatore was so tangy...I think I’d figured out it tasted like raw sweet onion. I should know better than to order pasta anywhere but an Italian restaurant. Bar service was a little on the slow side as well, and first martini was not as tasty as the second same martini.
The wait staff could be better trained. Dinner was served with no flatware and dessert was served with inappropriate utensils (we had to request it then wait before eating). To be fair it was New Years Eve and it was especially busy but at this price point things should have been handled better. We have dined here before and the staff has never been especially gracious.
Let me start with, the SERVICE was EXCELLENT! Our server (Susan) and the rest of the staff that we encountered were attentive and friendly, with being intrusive. Whenever we needed something, they were there.
About the food. We really liked the "lobster" bisque. The only complaint was that there was very little if any lobster, mostly corn. Just call it corn bisque, I would still order it again. My NY Strip was grilled perfectly (medium), but I would say that the flavor was a little lacking (some more seasoning would have been more to my liking). The baked potato side was also kind of bland, and I would have preferred that the mushrooms were whole instead of small slices.
Drinks were standard, maybe a bit overpriced. Dessert portions were more than we could finish.
It was a good distance to drive for us, and we may get back there again. Overall I would say you should give it a try, if you are tired of going to the same old places all of the time.
Service was great, food not as good as prior visits, rather disappointing.
Excellent Server and Service. Food was excellent and I surprisingly got engaged here
Met friends for holiday brunch. Alex was our server. She did a great job allowing us time to chat. The food was delicious. Perfect for a rainy Sunday.
Overpriced for the quality. Food was okay but no better than more affordable restaurants.
Nice atmosphere. Drinks were terrible. Did not contain the specified ingredients, tasted watered down. Food was only fair. Server did a good job in spite of fire alarms going off due to a broken pipe. No explanation of problem from management or hostess staff. Probably will not return.
Yes, I would recommend Firepoint Grill to a friend. Worth a trip.
Staff was excellent - great service from server (Dina) and management (Nick & Kristina). Restaurant modern looking, great ambiance.
Server was slow to get and replenish table beverages and food.
Wonderful food and drinks! Definitely coming back!!
Lovely atmosphere with delicious food and attentive service!! We will be back!
Great experience as always.
This was our first time dining at Firepoint and it was a wonderful evening. Our waiter Lance was very helpful telling us about the menu. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly as was my roasted salmon. Lance also was helpful getting our message to the cook about our desired doneness of our items. Our friends loved the short ribs and pork rib Thursday special. We hadn't seen our friends in a long time so there was a lot of conversation and waitstaff was very respectful of that and didn't rush us. We ended with the carrot cake dessert (another reco from our waiter) which was plenty for two and delicious. We will definitely be back!
Our family had a wonderful experience at Firepoint Grill. We all started off with the chicken noodle soup and it tasted like homemade. For my entree, I had the kale caesar starter salad with chicken added. Unlike most restaurants, Firepoint gave me plenty of chicken and it was well spiced - not your average bland added chicken. I'd definitely go again. We visited in the late fall so outside dining was not an option, but the outside space looked like a lot of fun.
Tasty dinner. Portions are generous. Lobster Bisque is amazing, but a meal in itself! Acoustics can be quite noisy, but lively atmosphere.
Overall, the food was good. In general the service has been fair to poor the few times I've been there. The biggest complaint about service is that is it typically slow. We ordered Caesar salads for the table (one with kale). The Kale Caesar came to the table and it was not made with Kale (just regular greens) but I did not want to wait for another salad to come out. NONE of the salads came with dressing so we had to flag down the waiter to get the dressing for the salads. Our entrees were served while we were still eating our salads. We did not want to send them back - just to wait again to have them re-served to us - so we had to hurry up and eat our salads so the food would not get cold. We ordered a piece of cake for dessert and it was taking so long - I found the waiter and just told him to cancel it. He told me he would go get it immediately (which he did). The food was fine but the service was not great and I wouldn't recommend going there unless your time is flexible and your patience is great to deal with slow service. [The mistakes with the order are not consistent - the other times I've gone the orders have come out correctly]. I wouldn't completely rule it out but there are other places I would choose before Firepoint to dine.
