Our server Madison was great. Food was killer. Great night. Thanks to the manager, Rich, for a great experience.
We were a party of 4. Most of the food was very good. My steak was very gristly, and I ended up having to surreptitiously spit 6 or 8 bites of it into my napkin. Not what I expect from one of the more expensive dishes on the menu. The bacon deviled eggs on the appetizer menu were amazing, though.
Service was very good. We visited on a Sunday evening, and though the restaurant was full, our server stopped by often to check up on us. The atmosphere was very nice. Not noisy, not so dim you couldn't see across the table.
Great night with family. Food was outstanding and service was on the ball.
I’ve been trying to come to Firebirds for a couple of years now so I was ecstatic that I FINALLY was able to have a meal here. First of all I love location, it’s one of my favorite parts of town to be. Secondly the atmosphere was great and lastly of course the food was delicious. Those Philly cheese egg rolls were disrespectful. I thoroughly enjoyed this place and I would love to come back and explore more of their menu options.
Everything was great the food, the service and the overall experience. The only issue I had was my lobster tail being $32 and it was possibly the worst lobster I've every had. I'm not one to complain So i didn't mention it and ate it anyways but that was my biggest regret of the evening. The steak I had was one of the best and vegetables were delish. My wife also had no complaints of her salmon and sides. We also had lobster queso that was spectacular. It was our 6 year wedding anniversary and we will be back no doubt!
The food was okay, nothing special. For the price, I’ve had better. I won’t return.
They just couldn’t get the steaks right. First came out overcooked (well done) sent back, remade, then too rare; seared each side of ribeye but raw and bloody all over plate. The request was for medium. I had a 7oz filet and that was medium well when I requested medium rare. It was not good… manager didn’t seem to care and server said the kind words but could tell she didn’t care either with the tone and no eye contact or seeing if there was another way to make it right or to ensure a good experience. It was pretty bad. We noticed we weren’t the only ones with not so great steak as other tables steaks were being sent back so maybe it was just an off night in the kitchen.
Lobster was tough and the filet mignon was salty. A waste of 70$
Our food was excellent, the service was great, and the decor and ambience was outstanding.
Our waitress was outstanding! Very friendly and engaging. The port mushrooms were full of flavor which contrasted with the center cut sirloin, which was a little tough and had no flavor. The steak was disappointing because on our previous visit one month ago, the steak was a highlight.
It was our first time here. We had reservations and was seated early. Our waitress, Megan, was awesome. Food was delicious. We would definitely come again.
Our waitress was amazing, I do not remember her name, she was a young african american woman maybe in her twenties. She was Outstanding! So energetic and pleasant. She talked with me and the friend I took there and really made the experience personalized. Food was alright, not worth the money, and it took a while to come out which comes with how busy you are. I can't fault you for that. I would definitely give it another try and maybe try some other foods.
Madisyn was awesome with service. The Ribeye was one of the best I have had in a long time. Beer and Cocktail selection was very good.
Great place for lunch. The crispy steak fries are the best I have had.
We had reservations, we were seated a few minutes before then. The server was good, food came out fairly quickly for a busy evening. The food was really good as well as the mocktail I got.
We were really surprised because we have eaten here twice before and were pleased. This time we all three ordered steaks medium-well and they were all under-cooked. They forgot to send out the grilled shrimp that came with two of our entrees and by the time they brought mine out it was cold. My broccoli was also cold and the steak was lukewarm at best. I will give them another chance just because we have had prior good experiences but would not recommend them to a friend until I see improvement.
The waitress was excellent , but the wait time was deplorable !!!! I’ve dined at this restaurant on several occasions and the service is worse every time
The food and drinks were delicious, the service we received from our server, Courtney was hands down the best we have received in the recent months, and the prices are also very reasonable. We will be back soon and Firebirds has just become our weekly date night location.
Marjorie was an excellent server. She has served us before - she is pleasant, engaging and very accommodating. The food was excellent as always.
Won't go back. I have never had a great experience at Firebirds, but this one was absolutely horrible. Extremely poor service. We could see our waitress hanging out with other workers while our drinks were left empty. I did not get my salad and once the server realized it, she tried to bring it to me AFTER I had already received my entre, then seemed annoyed when I told her I didn't want it anymore because my main course had already gotten there. My lobster tail was overly charred (burnt), and my filet mignon was overcooked. There were no apologies whatsoever and the manager never came by to speak to us. I know places are short staffed right now, but it did seem that they were at half-capacity to combat poor service. The workers spent a lot of time hanging out in a group.
Overall good experience. 8pm, 3/4 capacity.
-1 hour from when we were seated to when our Entrée arrived. (expected nowadays)
Cajun ribeye, petite bacon wrapped fillet.
Our steaks were served Luke warm, and without our sides. Broccoli arrived 3-4 min later.
Perfectly cooked, mediocre flavor.
Will return to try another menu item.
I really wanted to like this place and may give it another chance… or not. The restaurant had a great ambience. Nicely decorated.
Our appetizer came out fast and hot. The eggrolls were good! Salads followed, decent size and dressed as expected.
However, the main course fell short. We both ordered steaks and both were extremely over seasoned. We were only able to take a few bites. What a waste. I’m hoping it’s because they were busy and didn’t pay attention to the seasoning? Whatever it was, it’s still lingering. Pricey and wasn’t worth it.
Great food, very helpful service, and tasty sangria.
Bri was a great server, thank you for a great experience!
Our server Brielle was amazing and attentive. Thank you Firebirds for honoring our veterans with a meal.
Came for an anniversary dinner, had a great time!
Kudos to Firebirds, they have one the best Veterans Day deals in the entire country. Of course a good deal means nothing unless the food is good and Firebirds food is great. Service is also fast and friendly. It's definitely worth eating here even if they aren't running a deal.
We had a reservation and we were seated at the designated time. Our server came right over took our drink order and then was back for our meal order. We were served very soon and our meal was excellent and our server was very good. It was Veterans Day so we had one free meal. Very enjoyable dining experience.
Yea really mine this place. It was my third time there and each time the service was great ss was the food.
We both ordered The lobster tails. They were over cooked to the point neither of us finished them. The waitress clearly didn’t pass on the message to manager.
The food was very good. I will be back. The service was also outstanding. The noise level was a little higher than I prefer, but not too bad.
Very nice place. short on servers. Lots of open tables, people waiting to be seated.
I have enjoyed Firebirds in the past and my Veteran's Day lunch was very good as well. The waiter was courteous and friendly, the food is always great - I would recommend Firebirds to all my friends.
Our server seemed to keep forgetting things. She forgot my soup and wine at the table next to ours. She rang in one or our orders wrong and then it was still on our check and took forever to gave it adjusted. Also we were sat. Ext to this beautiful wall of wine bottles, but the bottles and the deck below the display were all covered with dust.
I think I was expecting more from this type of establishment.
Celebrated my anniversary with friend and our set was awesome keeping up with drinks and food choices. Loved our surprise dessert too.
Service and quality of food were poor.
Our server was wonderful and food was amazing!
We can't wait to go back...
Staffing is a challenge in the industry right now so I'm writing this with that in mind. However, I am going to criticize the service we received last night. I'm embarrassed I chose Firebirds for dinner with out of town business guests.
I always enjoy the food at Firebirds.
The trouble started as soon as we were seated. We waited ~15 minutes before we were even offered drinks and water. Luckily we had plenty of business to discuss. Finally we had to flag down someone to ask about our server. Perhaps there was confusion about who was assigned to the table. another 5 minutes past before a server actually did show up. She was friendly enough but the entire meal service went that way. She would disappear for long stretches and drink glasses were constantly empty. Once we ordered, things sped up, too much. No one was finished with their salads and here came a different server plopping down our entrees. (main server mostly still AWOL). Bread came after everything else rather than before or with salads btw.
The final disappoint was no floor manager ever stopped by to ask how our meal was. If you know you screw up a table out of the gate wouldn't it make sense to make a point to check on that table? The whole experience took a bit over two hours.
Again, trying to be understanding but this visit was just not up to par for a restaurant in this class. I'm sure I'll be back eventually.
Made reservations and still had to wait but not to long.
