Firebirds Wood Fired Grill - Richmond - Belvedere
We had dinner reservations for 715 and were promptly seated. Our waitress was attentive and the food was excellent! Properly cooked and seasoned perfectly. I had the large portion of prime rib end it was everything I hoped it would be. We dined on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was relatively quiet. My eyes have a little age on them and the lighting at the table was adequate to read their menu. Myself and another diner shared a bottle of Meiomi Pinot noir which paired well with our steaks and prime rib. We are definitely going back soon!
Everything was wonderful ! A great place to have a relaxing meal
The service was horrible. After waiting 25 minutes and never being greeted I spoke with the manager who quickly took care of us. My steak salad I always get was very chewy with lots of gristle. We have eaten here so many times this just wasn’t a good time.

We frequent Firebirds often for special occasions. This time was for our anniversary and the service was terrible from beginning to end! Took awhile for us to get out drink order! The drinks came out almost the same as the food. We did not receive all of our food and the food we received was prepared wrong! We had to go to the bar just to have our waters refilled after asking the waiter. At the end of the night we were just going to pay our bill and leave. We paid our bill took a few minutes longer at the table and the waiter had the nerve to come and ask if we were leaving him a tip😳 At that point we had enough and asked for the manager. We will not return to this location!
Service was outstanding! Food tasted delicious! However the 9pz filet I got was cut almost all the way in half. I guess the cook was checking to see how done it was. I ordered it medium rare but the steak varied from medium to well from one side to the other. I noticed the “chef” was dancing the whole time he was cooking on the grill. It is great to have fun at work but he needs to work on the quality of how the steak is prepared.
Appreciate them being accommodating, my family and I wanted to eat outside. Due to the weather they made a decision to close the outside patio. I was able to assure them that the storm would pass to our north, spoke to the manager and she allowed us to sit there. It was great and we are thankful for their willingness to change and adapt to consumers. The food was great with good service and attention to detail. Will be back soon!!!
Good food. Great atmosphere. Made reservation and table was ready when we arrived. Hostess pleasant as well as waitress. Love to go with my husband to spend some quality time.

Great meal and service was outstanding.
We had a wonderful "date night" during this pandemic. We felt safe and taken care of and the food was delicious. The only thing we would suggest is to have the waitstaff make sure their noses are covered with the masks. Our waitress was adorable, but her nose was often not covered. Thanks and we look forward to returning.
We were not offered dessert. And consider getting it but our check was brought before we could.
All of our food was cooked to our satisfaction. The service was great. We will definitely go back.
The food was perfect. The server wore her mask below her nose, though. I didn’t want to say anything and embarrass my family. We were seated near the walkway in and out of the dining room. Several customers did not wear masks as they passed our table. People need to be reminded.
I had the salmon with potatoes. It was really good. Salmon was cooked to perfection!
However, the sevice, not so much, she did advise she was knew, so I understood when she forgot to out in my appetizer order and didnt know the menu. Yet, attention to your customers should always be a priority. It took over 15 minutes to get my drinks, no silverware provided, never received my water, no check back to see if I needed anything.
I had a Red Sangria to drink, the first was mainly juice, the 2nd was better.
I would return for the food. Probably just get it to go.

Waiter/bartender was great! Wonderful Sangria he made, food consistently wonderful, but the noise level (ate outside) was very bad thanks to LOUD guests.

We made reservations for my mothers birthday and we greeted at the entrance seated right away. The waiter was engaging, informative with specials and never missed a beat with any service needs. The environment is welcoming and food was delicious. Best meal in a long time. We highly recommend Firebirds.

Food was just okay & we had salads, so should have been hard to not be better than okay. Service was good, but there were as many employees present as diners. Not in a hurry to visit again anytime soon.

The food was excellent and so was the service. The price is a little high but worth it once in a while.
Was escorted to a table: requested a booth, which was honored. Hostess didn’t know if table had been cleaned even though it looked clean, so she asked us to wait while to cleaned it just to be sure. They were adhering to the social distancing. We were immediately greeted by a waitress and our order was taken. My husband and I both had the baby back ribs which were very good. The waitress was very attentive and refilled our drinks without us having to request. I had been asked on Open Table to download the Paymytab app when I made the reservation. The waitress was unaware of this but after checking with the manager, they do indeed have this contactless payment method. It was quick and easy. We definitely will be returning. Oh, and we also were sent a $10 coupon to use at our next visit.
Covid impacts ambiance. We asked for a table yet a booth was all that could be offered. We had reservations yet had to wait 15 min for our table.
Did not offer onion rings which is one of your best appetizers. Service just OK.
Server wasted steps. For example, we had six in our party and he chose not to use tray therefore required two trips just to deliver water. We had to ask for bread. We had to ask for water replenishment. For the price of meal one should receive good service. Server and floor manager were personable yet training might be lacking
We were so happy to dine in the restaurant after COVID-19! The service was good but the food was delicious! I had the filet. The way they cook it over the flame gives the meat excellent flavor. Our steaks were perfectly cooked. The sides were delicious and cooked to perfection as well. My son had the baby back ribs and said they were perfect. But the carrot cake is to die for. I believe the best in town. We will continue to dine at Firebirds.

Wait staff was good. Ambience quiet for now since COVID-19. Ordered a ribeye and they brought me a sirloin. By the time they fixed the order my party was finished. Maybe just a fluke. Overall it was a great time. Could’ve been better but enjoyed it nonetheless.
The salads were not as good compared to previous experiences. The Colorado chicken salad was half the size and just not up to par. My friend ordered the shrimp and strawberry salad and she had the same experience. Very disappointing.
The waitress was very personable and the food was delicious, especially the smoked chicken wings.

Well it was our worst experience after several visits...waitress was absolutely unable to deliver drinks or any requests without numerous reminders. Kitchen did not prep food as we ordered, and no one was concerned, basically the take out is their money now and a handful of diners are not going to get much. Expensive wine, tiny sides, stale breads. Not a good Father's Day prep.

Loved the atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and even Wished is a Happy Anniversary upon arriving and leaving. The food was absolutely delicious and enjoyed every thing we ordered. Definitely will return.
