   My sister and I popped in for dinner on a Friday evening around 7:30. The restaurant and food were great, but what really made it awesome was our server. Armande was excellent! He was very professional and made lots of great recommendations for our meal, but he was also very friendly and funny. All around great job by all!

   Our food was good. Our server was attentive. I've just come to realize, I prefer a restaurant that is more bright and airy. It's very dim in there. We wanted to sit outside, but it was just too warm, but honestly, it was not much cooler in the restaurant.

   Firebirds is one of my favorite places to dine. Lunch was wonderful and it was a celebration of a dear friend’s 88th Birthday. I had the Pick Two and chose a Caesar salad and a Toasted Cheese with Roast Beef. They were delicious. My lunch companions both had Cheeseburgers with fruit as one side and French fries for the other. Dessert was a fantastic slice of cheesecake for the Birthday Girl! The service was excellent.

   Man this was disappointing. The steak itself was good! Everything else was subpar.. The bread service is probably the worst I’ve had and don’t get me started the lobster queso. It had little to no lobster and was the consistency of watered down cream soup. It was so liquidy it wouldn’t stick to the chip and we just had dribbles of “queso” all over our table. We ended up just eating the chips and taking the queso Togo to cook down because we’re not wasting the almost $19 price tag in this economy. The service was indifferent and the bathrooms smelled like sewage. The highlight was the host! He held the door for us upon our arrival and exit and was very friendly and warm.

   Love the portion sizes and flavors as well as choices. Prices have gone up more than most I think. Had a reservation but still had to wait even though I as handicapped. Taken to one of the farthest tables past a smaller one. There was only 3 of us. Several employees came and asked if we were satisfied with our meals. Doubt we will go back as the prices seem steep.($19.00 for a salad.)

    Held an employee luncheon for 11 people. Great experience. All the dishes came out on time. Service was great. Highly recommend.
