Server Samantha Worthington did an outstanding job and was very attentive.
We were well pleased with the food and service and we typically have a great dining experience at Firebirds!
LUNCH - Tortilla Soup was good, but I've had much better for less money. My wife had the BLT and tortilla soup. She didn't like the soup (too thick and too rich). I've had the strawberry salad at dinner and love it, but not for $16.00 at lunch. We were hoping for a regular place to have lunch everyday and I was hoping for lunch prices, but it's too expensive. The service has always been exceptional and dinner is much better, steaks are delicious and the meatloaf is excellent.
Really enjoyed the outstanding food. The service was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the black and bleu filet!
If you like a blue cheese filet mignon this is your place for dinner. It never disappoints. I haven't had a meal at Firebirds that wasn't delicious.
Great! Good food, quick lunch service and value is reasonable!
Overall it was pleasant
The bread on my portobello sandwich was too hard. I could not bite directly into it without hurting my mouth.
New Years Eve! Delicious food , great service from Alexa! My Old Fashion was a little heavy on the bitters . Overall it was a very good experience.
Food and service were good. Pandemic protocols were observed by staff in the seating area but not by the visible kitchen staff so that was a concern - they all had masks but all were wearing them down at their chin and not covering their noses or mouths while the food was being prepared. We were seated in a booth immediately adjacent to the serving staff line where they were yelling orders to the kitchen staff and between themselves making our dinner conversation difficult. It was as if they thought no one could hear them - wrong.
We arrived early and were seated within 15 minutes. Our server was gracious and checked on us periodically. My wife's coffee was lukewarm and the server made a fresh pot to ensure the incident wasn't repeated. The onion rings we shared were delicious. The prime rib was full of grizzle and only about half of it could be consumed. The baked potatoes were good as was the Delmonico steak. The creme burlee cheesecake was fabulous. We used up our gift card and are not likely to return.
Ordered steak MEDIUM but it was cooked Med Well. Service was good. A little loud. Took 5+ minutes to clean several tables when people were waiting to be sat. Many staff seemed to tolerate being there rather than being there to serve.
I usually do not complain but this time I am.
Service as awesome however the food left a lot to be desired. The aged ribeye is always what my wife and I order. Well it was so extremely gristly that we couldn't eat but half of our steaks. The parmesan mashed potatoes were not good at all and are usually fantastic. When I told our waiter about the mashed potatoes he said that all of his tables that night were complaining about the mashed potatoes not being good.
Certainly not worth the $90 plus dollars for dinner.
Our service was perfect but the quality of the food will not bring us back again. Sorry.
Amazing food! Definitely try the lobster and spinach queso dip. My wife loved the salmon and I enjoyed the filet mignon. The creme brûlée cheesecake is amazing as well!
It was a great experience, but the waiter was very good, he just kept calling me boo as a man I felt uncomfortable! I really did enjoy the food though the setting was just right for our Christmas business dinner!
Our server was very friendly but very inexperienced. Took us a while to get drink order placed. We received wrong drink a few times.
Biggest issue was cold potatoes au gratin. Our orders came in a soup cup (stacked tall in a small dish), instead of being in the usual dishes. The potatoes werw ice cold in the center.
Nice restaurant. Maybe caught them on a bad day. Guess hubby’s steak order was missed. Got my cheeseburger and was finished before he got his meal. Asked for no sour cream in baked potato but came with sour cream. Potatoes also somewhat undercooked. Too nice a restaurant for these things to happen.
We enjoyed a drink and snack on the patio, and really enjoyed the private and calm setting. The patio has heaters so it wasn’t freezing, and they have tables socially distanced so it is safe. Enjoyed it.
Had reservations for 2 at 7:30 and arrived at 7:35. Didn’t get sat until 7:55. Ordered an app and filet, but didn’t ask for it to be cut (we mentioned we would share one entree). Filet came out cut evenly into 2 very thin slices and way over-cooked. Management sent another filet out around 20 minutes later. Service was decent, just extremely disappointed with the overall visit.
Great place for a date night; highly recommend the ribeye steak
It didn’t take long to get seated but it took forever to receive our food. The food was bland and we were celebrating a birthday and the birthday girl sent her food back as it had a charbroiled taste. They don’t do anything special for birthdays anymore. 😕Also read the menu throughly b/c our server did a terrible job at suggesting things all tho at the top of the menu it states they will.
The food was lukewarm and had to send it back. The waitress seemed like she was in a hurry and only asked if I needed a refill once. The experience was not worth the price at all. Could have gone to Applebee’s for half the price. Also, our reservation wasn’t found in the system.
We had the best time. We had reservations for 6 and were seated at least 20 minutes early. The food was great and came out in a timely manner.
First of all the bar keep served a drink that was prepared wring. For the price of these drinks you would think they would have experts who take pride in their craft.
The appetizer was great... then the meal came and the green beans were raw! The steak was very flavorsome but uncommonly thin. Again for this nice of an establishment you would think the cuts would be at least as thick as Roadhouse...just saying. Next time I will prefer to go to Longhorns.
It has good food and service. Is perfect for everyday lunch or family dinner.
My steak was good but it came before my salad. I had to remind server of my salad, which was quickly delivered. Also had to remind him of a drink order. My friend and I ordered drinks at the same time, him a red wine and me a vodka cocktail. After awhile, when server returned, I asked about it but informed him I was no longer interested. First time to visit and really, overall, disappointed. I expect something special, first class, for $120
Delivered wrong food to the table, slow to respond.
Food was mediocre
We had a great time with our lovely wives. Our waitress was perfect. Our steaks were Outstanding and we couldn't have asked for anything better. We were seated right on time. I would definitely recommend Firebirds to anyone visiting the Montgomery area. We were impressed and have eaten here several times and it's always wonderful.
Food was mostly good but entree which was average. I decided to try the salmon since I had recently had steak at home. Firebird's on this visit date had the same problem I have grilling salmon at home - finding the right rub, mariinade, etc. The smoked flavor was there but something was missing. The mashed potaotes did not reach the mark of their better quality on my last visit. The veggies and salad were excellent - as was the service. The beers are another category that could use some work. The only draft I recognized was SA Winter Lager, which is not high on my favorites list. All-in-all, it was a good outing, Firebird's is to be commended for recognizing veterans and they did notify me of a cancellation since I was too late on my first try to get a reservation. In my town of MANY sub-standard restaurants, Firebirds is still our go-to place for special occasions and specials offerings.
Perfect! Was very satisfied with food and services!
It was my first time here. The American Kobe Beef Meatloaf was awesome!!!!! The Veterans Day treat was so great!!!! Thanks for honoring all the vets! I'll be back again and again!
The best thing about this experience were the drinks. The food was underwhelming. My wife and I both ordered filets, the steaks were over cooked and fatty, which filets should not be. I ordered the baked potato, she ordered mashed potatoes. Both were so incredibly dry that they were almost completely inedible. The service was subpar and part of our order was forgotten. I would not go back here. Completely overpriced for the poor quality of food.
Good service - Good food
The food was very good! I actually didn’t expect the taste as it was my first time going!
The entire dining experience was outstanding. it was mine and my husband's birthday and the evening was wonderful. The food was excellent.
I always love going to firebirds... they never disappoint, from the salads (the salmon grilled is my favorite, to the pasta and steaks. Also the carrot cake is so good, sometimes I pick here to eat just because I’m craving their carrot cake. Every time I make a reservation, I never have to wait and we are seated right away.
Awesome atmosphere and food! We enjoyed our meal while talking business
Portions were very small and cold when it got to the table
Our night was just flat not good. Went for my husband’s birthday and stated on the online reservation that it was for his birthday. We ordered lobster queso (which was delicious) and each ordered prime rib, mainly because we got the email that it was $19.95. Well our food ticket got lost and it was an hour before our entree got to the table. The manager came and apologized and brought our food the table shortly after. My mashed potatoes had a crust on them as they had been sitting there and my medium prime rib was well done. (I’ve worked in restaurants and went to culinary school). Our appetizer ended up being comped and we also ended up apparently getting the wrong prime rib and it was full price. So our bill, after tip, was $82.15. Well yesterday, I checked our account and our ticket was run for $821.15. So i spoke with Victoria and she ended up comping the whole ticket for us. Well then this morning, the charge had not yet dropped off the account and our account ended up being overdrawn. It’s been a lovey weekend due to Montgomery Firebirds.
The entire experience from Cleanliness, quality of food and service to overall atmosphere was 1st class.
