Firebird is a chic and vibrant open-fire restaurant and wine bar in Soho.
Our kitchen team works closely with local and regional suppliers and farmers to present the freshest meat, seafood, poultry and vegetables. We invite you to experience wood-fired cooking with no tricks or artifice – just the best produce transformed over a custom-made open-fire grill.

Firebird’s wine list, curated by co-owner and sommelier Anna Dolgushina, champions small, natural and biodynamic producers from across Europe, who work their vineyards organically, with respect to nature and soil.
Bottles change frequently with juicy, vibrant and elegant varieties all being accounted for.

The interior designed by DA BUREAU is inspired by a modern Mediterranean mood, whilst shadows and reflections are used to recreate memories of afternoons spent in courtyards on the continent, underneath olive trees sharing food and drink with friends.

    Outstanding food. Lots of care taken when balancing each dish perfectly without loosing the bold flavours. Stick to wine (though we didn’t order any) as the different signature cocktails we tried were very unimpressive and lacked the same calibre of balance and intricacies.

    Service felt very rushed and servers were not attentive. We repeatedly needed to ask for wine glasses to be refilled. Dishes were lacklustre. Was expecting a lot more. Only one pinot noir on the menu after reading an interview where one of co owners said she loves this type of wine and we were hoping for a lot more. Sadly a letdown and just OK.

    I thought the portions were really small and the prices are really high. The food was delicious but it’s really overpriced. Almost £20 for cabbage is a stretch. £6 for a single pumpkin skewer with only 2 small bits of pumpkin is a bit extra.

    We had a lovely evening at Firebird! The food was amazing, every dish was incredibly tasty and portions were very generous. The staff was also very attentive and we felt well looked after. I would most definitely recommend Firebird to anyone who wants to have a special evening in a cozy yet sophisticated environment.
