Firebird is a chic and vibrant open-fire restaurant and wine bar in Soho.
Our kitchen team works closely with local and regional suppliers and farmers to present the freshest meat, seafood, poultry and vegetables. We invite you to experience wood-fired cooking with no tricks or artifice – just the best produce transformed over a custom-made open-fire grill.

Firebird’s wine list, curated by co-owner and sommelier Anna Dolgushina, champions small, natural and biodynamic producers from across Europe, who work their vineyards organically, with respect to nature and soil.
Bottles change frequently with juicy, vibrant and elegant varieties all being accounted for.

The interior designed by DA BUREAU is inspired by a modern Mediterranean mood, whilst shadows and reflections are used to recreate memories of afternoons spent in courtyards on the continent, underneath olive trees sharing food and drink with friends.

I normally don’t write reviews but yesterday’s experience wasn’t a pleasant one. The girl looking after our table was lovely. The mains were served by another girl who was rude and impatient because my friend didn’t see her bringing the food, and for some reason she wanted to place it in a particular spot where my friend’s arm was resting. There was plenty of space on the table. She kept saying sorry but then showed a very annoyed expression, which was very unprofessional. My other friend noticed it and asked what the problem was. She very rudely said there is no problem. When we said ok she continued with her rude manner. The worst part was noticing a mouse running in the restaurant which was a complete shock. Based on the experience we are definitely not going back there again even though the food was lovely.

Excellent client service. They went above and beyond! No issue with the fact that i have a lactose intolerance. Still many options on the menu and the chef even offered to adapt dishes to my dietary restriction.

Food and service were impeccable. It wasn’t very busy yet I know this is quite a buzzy place normally. Good recommendations for wine by the glass and our server was very informative. Had the crab crumpet, lamb skewer, tuna tartare, crispy chargrilled cabbage with the most divine sauce and their memorable prawn dish.

Lamb skewers and tuna tartare were really good. Sea bream also marvelous! Pork chop was slightly overcooked and lose a bit of its tenderness, for that reason I will give a 9 out of 10. I did think cocktails were a little overpriced though taste is ok to be fair. Servers are very attentive!

The environment and the music were really good. We had such a great time seated on the bar, watching the barman doing some cocktails. The food was delicious and the waiters were really welcoming and kind with us. The people there made the experience really nice, I can't wait to come back!

Haven't been to Firebird for a while but it was as good as I remembered. Stunning food and super friendly service and unusual but delicious wine and a beautiful space - and did I mention the incredible food? It is expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. Strongly recommend.
