    Slow kitchen, but we were early on a Friday. Food was good. Too brightly lit. Music loud and obnoxious.

    The ambiance was nice, the menu looked to be amazing, the server was attentive. Unfortunately they were out of their “special” which was Red Snapper yet we were the only ones in the restaurant at 6:30 pm on a Saturday. Two other items were selected by our group only to find out they were not available either. We all settled for wood fired pizza which looked great but was bland and tasteless. Bright note here was the bartender who made trendy elegant stiff drinks. Paid the bill but unfortunately will not return for another try.

    We did not realize that this is actually a hotel restaurant, connected to the lobby. The air conditioner was not working when we went which was disappointing. They also were out of 3 entrees and 2 appetizers. The waitress while super friendly and funny forgot one of our drinks. She did however keep bringing out cups of ice to help us cool down. The food was delicious but came out really staggered. My friend got her salad and then 10 minutes later two other entrees arrived and then 10 min later my tuna appetizer showed up. The hostess could not have been nicer, but I am worried that this restaurant is not going to survive due to the chaotic nature of the entire experience.

    Tried brunch on Sunday -- it is not worth it. The selection is very limited on the brunch menu and the portions are not reflective of the price.

    The buffet catered to a lot of taste and the food was generally good. We had problems getting drinks and service. There were not a ton of people there but more than their usual.

    I booked the Mothers Day experience expecting it to be in the restaurant. It turned out to be in a banquet room in the attached Hilton hotel. The food was basically a slightly fancy version of a continental buffet. Charcuterie looked to be what I already buy at Harris Teeter. Half the buffer was empty. Not worth the money of $60 each and did not include drinks.

    I was so excited to try this new restaurant, but we were all very disappointed. The location had been moved to a hotel ballroom.  There was no menu available only a buffet which wasn’t advertised and the buffet inventory was woefully low and out of lots of items at all times. We had to ask three times for a server to come take our drink order and then the water was never refilled. The set menu cost was $60 but the food quality was very low and should not have even been half of that cost, the room was messy and tables were left on bust. There was also lots of trash at the front entrance and dirty dishes around the buffet. Very disappointing experience.

    Not a fan of the food sorry to say & it was overpriced. The portions were a joke I swear the crab cakes were the size of a silver dollar and for like $15+ The tuna on a won ton had super cold old rice on it… never had rice on a won ton and I’m from hawaii so maybe my expectations were too high with this app? I’ve had better here for cheaper for sure. Would i recommend or go back? Nope.

    My wife and I ordered French Toast for brunch. 1 Gingerbread and 1 Bacon Praline. Both were delivered to the table lukewarm. The bread consistency was tough and almost hard to chew. My wife chose not to eat her French toast because it was that bad. I ate most of my order, because the flavor was good, despite the touch, chewy bread. I might go back to Fine and Fettle. I will never order French toast again.

    We went to Easter brunch and although the food was great. The service for drinks was terrible. We finished our first round of buffet food before we even got a mimosa. The managers were super sweet and check on us multiple times and the food was tasty but not grand for $65 a person.

    Service was extremely slow despite it not being crowded at all. We ordered two bottles of wine and both came to the table already corked! When we ordered the second bottle we asked for the same bottle originally ordered and were brought a completely different one that was $10 more in cost than the original. It was already already poured before we realized it. When we brought it to the waitress’s attention she apologized but did not offer to discount the more expensive bottle brought in error. Overall a disappointing dining experience,

    Waffle was rubbery. Chicken was like jerky. Both obviously reheated. Had to almost beg for coffee refills. Asked 3x for sugar and that never came.

    I will say that the ambience was good but this is a hotel restaurant. They were severely understaffed but did they best they could given the circumstances. Food was good but one guest’s order was not put in and arrived 15 minutes later (not charged for this meal at least). All in all, would not recommend unless staying at the hotel and it was just convenient.

    clueless server; did not know what was on the menu; did not know how to serve wine, no sampling, no presentation of the cork; the requested wines were not available; server tried to upsell the non available wine to more expensive (other) wine; food came cold from the kitchen; this may be a nw place, there is room to train and to improve.

    There was one person playing manager, hostess, server, and food runner - so major kudos to Gabbie for holding it down. None of this is her fault at all - it's the fault of management. That being said, I only feel it's constructive to let the restaurant know that their staffing oversight caused my experience to be lackluster across the board. It took 10 minutes for us to even get water. There were several items that had been 86'd for the night, even though our reservation was at 7pm on a Friday. The restaurant is essentially in the lobby of a hotel - which isn't a problem typically. But this one felt like I was literally sitting in the middle of a hotel lobby, there was virtually no division between lobby and restaurant, which made for a terrible atmosphere overall. I won't be returning to Fine & Fettle.

    Very understaffed. Drinks took an hour. ran out of entree options. Overall nice place but leaves a lot to be desired for service.

    We arrived about 3 minutes past our reservation and waited at the hostess stand for a couple of minutes. We were then told we were past the 9:45 last seating and were turned away. I was quite unimpressed considering how many tables were available and that we were truly only a few minutes late. I had made the reservation for my sister who had arrived in from Brooklyn. I have worked in food service and certainly understand the challenges of today’s environment but this seemed quite quite unusual for the QC and very inhospitable. I will not return or recommend.
