We are a mission-based restaurant in Uptown serving up delicious plant-based comfort food, inspired by flavors from around the globe. Our goal is to fight climate change by encouraging a plant-based diet.

We are open every day of the week for lunch and dinner with a full brunch buffet on the weekends. We have a special $6 Wine Wednesday, $50 Date Night Tuesday, and serve a Midday Menu Monday - Sunday from 2-5 PM.

Our weekend brunch buffet is served from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and is complete with blueberry french toast, plant-based sausage and biscuits, hummus and veg, and more! We also serve a small brunch menu during this time featuring items like the Breakfast Burrito, Chilaquiles, and the Beyond Brunch Burger!

We are great for families and large groups - bring your kids in and check out our play area, and think of us for your next group event.

I guess we went on an off night. They were out of a few things on the menu. We ordered a falafel salad and slightly mushy pizza-- only OK. We were seated at a table near the window (even though it was mostly empty) and it was a bit drafty. I really like the idea of this restaurant and strongly support the goal of switching to a plant-based, sustainable diet. I wish Fig & Farro would deliver more consistently on that ethical alternative. They make vegan cuisine seem elitist and often confusing in terms of what food is actually available and how it will taste or be presented. (This might be beside the point, but I also have to add-- their cocktails are way too sweet!!!)

Wonderful! Vegan options at most restaurants are pretty limited. It was great looking at the Fig + Farro menu knowing I could eat anything on it. Not only that, but it was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

I am always on the lookout for vegetarian/vegan places as I eat only vegetarian food. Fig+Farro's menu seemed promising. The ambience of the place is good and the staff were quite friendly. The dinner menu had some options that looked different, but the quality of the food and the portion sizes did not justify the high price tag for each dish. We ordered Cauliflower wings, Lasanga and Pizza. The quality of every dish was mediocre at best. I have had better tasting vegan food around Minneapolis for lesser price.

I just love the breakfast buffet! My favorite part is the tofu scramble with mushroom gravy! I also love the chiqiciles, and they had French toast this time which was different but delicious!

It took an hour and a half to receive our appetizers, but then our main meal showed up just a couple minutes later (even though it was ordered at least half hour after the appetizers). No one stopped to explain what the problem was and others around us were getting food without issue. We had to flag people down to even order an additional round of drinks during that long wait.

We've been here before and been very impressed by the food, but that also wasn't as good. The roasted veggie pizza was just bread with a bit of balsamic vinegar as the sauce and tiny pieces of veggies, and very few of them at that. It felt like I was just eating bread with balsamic vinegar rather than a high end pizza. The ravioli was ok, but again, the dishes I had in the past were much better. The best thing about the night was the desserts - those were very good.

Between waiting an hour and half to get an appetizer, having our main meal brought out at practically the same time, and then the food not being that great, I don't see myself going back anytime soon.

Service was so slow we had to skip dessert. My friend who got there before me got passed around between a couple hosts before being seated with our reservation. Then she waited another 15 minutes before a server even greeted her. By the time I got there we waited another 5/10 minutes for a server. Drinks took about another 15 minutes to get to our table after ordering. Food was very good but hosts and service in general seemed disorganized and so slow for a Saturday night and it wasn’t even packed.
The food was great but would like to see a little more effort in presentation. Seemed like our entrees were just scooped on the plates.

Took at least 10 minutes to see a server. Another 10-15 to get a drink. Another 10-15 to take our order. Our server only came back one time after taking our order to check on us. We had to find our server to get our check. The food was fair, at best. Nice atmosphere.

I went to Fig and Farro for the first time recently and ordered the truffle rissoto with a glass of Barbera. The service was outstanding, I think my waitress' name was Gemma or Genna - she was fantastic. The food was very very good and the wine was fantastic. Highly recommended!

The food, in my opinion, was sub par.
My business guest while not complaining, ate only 30% of his meal. Another person said his was so-so, OK, not great. Mine was very disappointing but I also said nothing.

I won’t be returning.

We ordered the vegetable pizza, patty melt and lasagna. The patty melt and lasagna were very tasty and would be worth 5 stars if they had come out hot. It seemed as though they were sitting for a while before getting to our table. The fries were no longer crispy and the patty melt and lasagna were just lukewarm. Good thing the patty melt and lasagna were still pretty delicious even when cold.

The pizza was our least favorite and quite disappointing. The crust was almost too crispy (hard) and not very flavorful. If it weren't for the ketchup, hot sauce and ranch that the server brought us, we may not have even finished the pizza. The veggies were super tiny and almost nonexistent for being the "vegetable" pizza.

Love the ambiance and the concept and most of the dishes. Will definitely go back to try more items. Hope the food comes out piping hot next time!

I have been here a couple times when the restaurant first opened. I haven't been back due to distance (I live 40 miles away) but when an opportunity came to take my boyfriend to his first vegan experience, I just HAD to bring him here. And it was a good thing I did. The restaurant was bustling with brunch-goers and children playing in the play section (a big tent with lots of toys and pillows!). It is a very Instagram-able location (kind of boho chic) with a fully-stocked bar, espresso station, and menu full of vegan and vegetarian delights. Everything was delicious. We ordered the giant blueberry cinnamon roll that melted into our mouths, coating our tongues with caramel, as well as the chilaquiles, brunch burger, a soy cappuccino, and a boozy latte. My meat-loving boyfriend absolutely enjoyed his experience here, even saying he would "definitely come again!" Not only that but the waitress was prompt and welcoming, always ready to help whenever needed. And most items are accommodating for those who eat gluten-free and lactose-free, which is great because I have a sensitive stomach. Overall, this place was a great brunch-date experience for anyone who just generally loves food. If you are ever in the vicinity, please try this place out. You won't regret it.

I really want to like Fig and Farro and I'll still support them but they really need to be consistent with their menu and the size of the meal. The proportions are so small for the cost of the food. Also when I start to like an item they either change it or take it off their menu. They also need more protein choices, like tofu or tempe that you can order on the side. The last two times I went there I left hungry and ended up eating more at home. Next time we come we're just going to order appetizers and hope for the best.

Our server was great: friendly, knowledgeable about food and ingredients, available but not hovering. The food was very good --the lasagna and the risotto were delicious. Really nice to have a vegetarian restaurant in the Uptown neighborhood --but interesting eating even if you're not vegetarian. It was if anything, too quiet. More people should know about this place

First off, we are not vegetarian. The food was great, and the staff was very helpful and attentive. The entree salad was excellent. The cheesecake (made w/ cashew milk?) was AMAZING. Peace out.

Spent NYE at fig and we had a 4 course meal prix fix menu. We were able to try all the menus offerings as we were allowed to choose one of two options for each course. The service was ok but nothing spectacular. Our food wasn’t particularly hot when we got it but not cold either. Food presentation and variety was great but some of the flavors were a miss. Overall a nice experience but for the price + one drink + tip, didn’t seem worth it.

It is a great concept environmental conciseness is key! Excellent wine and food selection. Cooking plants with a lot of flavor is a such art. Jambalaya with plant based sausage was delicious... the only problem identified is that we must have more restaurants like Fig&Farro around the country! 100% recommended

We went to Fig & Farro when it first opened and didn't love the menu. Tried it again last week and couldn't decide which items to choose because they all sounded so good! The buffalo cauliflower is outstanding. My husband loved the patty melt and can't wait to have it again. I tried the roasted beets and highly recommend them (along with the mashed potatoes). I loved the cozy vibe inside - it was quite busy but not too loud. So happy to have this in our neighborhood!!

The food is delicious, and it's a nice spot close to the lake outside of downtown Minneapolis if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle.
The food was really good and my date and I had trouble deciding. He isn't vegan but was very impressed by the delicious food. Everything tasted fantastic and I hope I get the chance to return to try some more items.
Lack of 5 stars is due to attentiveness of server. Could have been more attentive to when we wanted to pay our bill, since the restaurant was pretty much empty when we were eating there.

I made a reservation for my sisters bday which the restaurant appeared like they did not received it bc they were switching us to different tables when we got there/ did not have enough chairs for everyone.
The waitress was a mess .
She was nice but did not explain the menu , did not offer drinks or desserts to everyone , skipped guests while taking orders etc .
Food was ok, I’ve tried 2 dishes and I wasn’t impressed and they were ok , some other guests and our party liked theirs tho .
I would be willing to give it one more try to see if I have a better experience.

I’ve ordered before but this was my first time dining at the restaurant. The staff were all very kind, accommodating and welcoming. They were supportive of both plant based & non-plant based guests within our group. As a matter of fact, there are many hearty meals on the menu designed for the meat eaters (burgers etc.). All of the food was enticingly good! I look forward to getting back again soon!! ~kk
