Sitting just a stone's throw from Waterloo station, Fifth Element is a restaurant looking to give guests a place to connect away from the hustle and bustle of inner-city life. Born from a belief that food is the catalyst of magical moments, a group of family and friends joined forces to run this all-day restaurant and add a bit of joy to Londoner’s days, whether that's for a mid-morning brunch or an evening tipple.

The restaurant is uncomplicated with marble table tops and metal chairs, as well as an array of ornaments dotted across shelves that cover the back wall. Large windows line the room across multiple sides, allowing natural light to flood in during the day. By night, Fifth Element transforms into a date night worthy eatery, with fairy lights adorning the faux grass walls, and surrounding the floor to ceiling windows, to radiate a warm golden hue across the room.

Reall enjoyed the chicken tacos with moist grilled chicken and plenty of it and the others guacamole that was plentiful and excellent spices. Separate dish of a salad excellent. Both good value. The grilled chicken platter was not as good value as slightly pricy for chicken that was fairly dry. Overall though excellent service.

The waiter was so incredibly nice and had great recommendations. The food was amazing and cocktails were fantastic. All for very low prices.

We ate at this lovely wee restaurant last night and it was a gem. Beautiful food (we had chicken and also pizza) and excellent service. We will be back when next in London!

This is a hidden gem just 5 minutes from Waterloo! The attention to detail and atmosphere that the team create is amazing and the food is great. We felt very welcomed and looked after throughout our visit and left very satisfied. Thanks!

What a find. This is a small, really quaint cafe (restaurant). It’s very Mediterranean in style and is located off the beaten track but only minutes from Waterloo. Food came quickly and was simple but really tasty.
