Field & Tides, located in Houston’s historic Heights neighborhood features an open canvas menu that reflects Executive Chef Travis Lenig’s culinary experiences. Chef Lenig’s roots stem from his love for many different types of cuisine such as Southern, Italian, French and Asian. “Field” is represented by locally sourced vegetables, pork, poultry, beef and game, while “Tides” is seafood that is locally sourced as well, with an emphasis on the Gulf. The upscale casual restaurant is open for lunch and dinner daily with brunch served on Saturday and Sunday. Patrons can enjoy a spacious patio for outdoor dining, as well as a separate private dining room available to rent for all your special occasion needs.

Great restaurant with excellent food. Deviled eggs are the best I’ve ever had. Only negative is the cocktails are soooo weak.

A nice vib and really good food. This is a cozy place in the Heights with a nice menu and a variety of options. Quiet enough to have a conversation with a good atmosphere that is family friendly too. The staff is attentive and courteous. Overall and local gem.

We enjoyed the crab toast, delicious, along with Sloppy Joe's, Waffle with Chicken and B&T, drinks and coffee. All of the food was most excellent. Enjoyed a fabulous birthday with friends.

Oysters with Brussels and pulpo starters are excellent. The scallop and shrimp mains are outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience!!

Field and Tides is an excellent Restaurant and each dish is crafted for an exceptional taste bud experience. My wife and I ask ourselves the same Questions when we go to a new Restaurant, Would you go back and Would you order it again? Absolutely positively YES to both Questions.

First time back to F&T in several years and was delighted to see that it has not lost any of its charm and high standards of service. I had accidently made reservations one day off for a party of eight I was hosting. We found out the reservation was on the wrong night only when arrived at the restaurant. The staff jumped into action and arranged a table, which wasn't easy as it was a full house. They went well beyond typical to assit us and avoided an embarrassing situation. On top of that, the food and service were excellent, and our guests raved about the restaurant selection. Thank you F&T and we will be back without such a long lapse this time.
