   Headed here for a Sunday brunch with the family. Everyone loved their food and the drinks were also delicious. Will be back!!

   This was our first meal at Field &Main but it will not be our last. The daily omelette had marinated steak and cheese inside and was delectable. The vanilla French toast was creamy, dreamy and sublime! The duck egg sandwich was messy in all the right ways. The only suggestion that we would make is that when the party is three, would it not be possible to place that third biscuit on the plate so as not to have the division be awkward? Our special beverages were wonderful and the coffee, delightful. Very pleased.

   I don't usually take the time to write a review, but I had to do so this time as the dining experience was absolutely perfect. We ate in the "kitchen" room and we're entertaining a guest. We had the feast, which was quite impressive as well as interesting and special food/prep. I used to wait tables and therefore typically find myself a little uncomfortable with service if it's not up to a certain standard. Well, no worries here, the waiter David-even got his name-is a true professional. The wine, also chosen for us, was a delightful surprise. Kudos to F&M, you have hit a high bar!

   We were very much looking forward to our meal at Field & Main, and we left pretty disappointed. The service was great and the ambiance is lovely, but the food definitely fell short. This was a brunch meal, so maybe we will return for dinner and see if that matches all of the great positive reviews we've seen.

   We had a Saturday night 6:30pm reservation and it was a pretty full house, lots of lively conversation and a great atmosphere. We ordered cocktails, and after a sip or two, a 2nd server appeared with an amuse bouche, a small espresso cup of broth, which we really didn't want while we were enjoying our cocktail. Odd timing. That was followed with starters which were nice, and immediately after those plates were cleared, our entrees were served. Service was really rushed and not as leisurely as we would have liked it to be. We tried the farro salad, and the charred onion w brie for starters, which were both good, and then had the roasted chicken and beef pho for entrees. The chicken dish was nice, but for the beef pho, the broth was lukewarm and some of the vegetables cold, not what you would expect for a $35 plate. The cinnamon ice cream was good, but the coffee, at best, was mediocre. Portion sizes were perfect and not too large, and just as a heads up, table spacing is tight. I had to stand for two minutes before the server could see that I was trying to get through as he waited on guests seated at the kitchen bar, which back up to a group of tables in the 2nd rear room. If you can, request a table in the front room, it looked more spacious. So, in summary, nice surroundings, good cocktails, friendly server, but the food and service were a bit lower in quality than expected.

   The restaurant was very pretty and atmosphere was nice. Food was good but nothing exceptional. I decided to visit this restaurant based on good reviews and something locally owned. I and my party of 4 felt food was just ok and waiter was eh. At this point I probably would not come back. Sorry
