   We had a delightful Saturday lunch at Field & Main. The crispy potatoes were the best potatoes I've ever tasted! A winning recipe.

   I can’t speak highly enough about our experience at Field & Main, from the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out the door. The hosts were wonderful, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. It was worth the hour+ drive for us.

   Fantastic Experience! We enjoyed every dish and the handcrafted cocktails—I recommend the Bulldog for the cocktail list. Don't miss out on the hearth roasted onion as an appetizer and save room for dessert! The deconstructed cheesecake was a nice, light finish to a great meal. As we were leaving the host took us to the kitchen and introduced us to the sous chef who showed us how our dinner was prepared. A cherry on top of an already perfect expereince!

   Interior is very nice. We sat by the open kitchen. Most of our food was delicious. We got a couple of things that could have been better. One dish was overly salty. Overall though, a good meal.

   We had the feast with wine pairings and were impressed by everything served. Attentive service and wonderful atmosphere.

   Simply the best eating option in the area! If you haven't driven to Marshall, Va and eaten at Field and Main, DO! It is some of the best, most creative - yet simple, tasty and fun food you will have. It is truly a place that will offer a menu FULL of memorable meals. The cocktail options are fun, the wine offerings are many and all wonderful. the servers are friendly, casual and honestly seem to be happy to be part of your evening. Bottom line - Come Here! You will not regret it!

   Soup was, as always, excellent! Desserts can’t be beat! Main courses are sometimes disappointing like both of ours were this last time. We had different main courses, but neither were not up to our standards. Food wasn’t warm enough and flavors were not as good as expected.
