Food was amazing as always!
Overall it was a good experience.
Ordered the salad and pasta combo.
The salad was delicious, however, the carbonara pasta was just too salty.
I'll try a different pasta next time.
Service as always was excellent!
Very attentive staff and the food was outstanding.
Wonderful people and food!
The food was delicious!!! Fresh, flavorful and the presentation was impressive. Beyond that, the decor is great, very modern and clean and the cherry on top was the service. Our server was knowledgable, calm and attentive. The manager also made sure we had drinks as we waited to be seated. 5 stars! We will be back!
The team at Fête never disappoints. We had our seat at the counter looking right in to the kitchen; we got to see where the magic happens. My wife and I each ordered and cocktail, appetizer, entree and dessert and absolutely LOVED every last bit. Thank you Chuck and team for such an amazing experience and we look forward to dining with you folks in the future!
My boyfriend and I went for dinner after having a great experience at lunch service. We enjoyed everything about our experience except for how close the tables were to each other. It was hard to maneuver to get to the restroom and it seemed hard for staff as well to get around with plates and drinks. Otherwise, food and drinks were excellent. We’d definitely come again.
The restaurant itself is in a cute location, very close to the Hawaii theatre. My friend and I went before our show, and our server was very kind and attentive. She even offered up recommendations which we took when we ordered our meals. It didn’t disappoint and I look forward to going back again soon!
We were quite disappointed by this dining experience. The quality of the food did not match up to our past experience, everything was just fine. Service was awful, we specifically requested a table, not bar seating, as it was my husbands birthday celebration. We took a later reservation so that we could have table service, when we arrived we were seated at the bar anyway. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table to open up and then were seated without menus and ignored by waitstaff. The hostess finally came over and took our order and then left for the night and the wait staff continued to ignore us for the remainder of the meal.
One of the best meals we've had in a while. We reserved bar seating as that was one of the choices on the app. No regrets, the bartender was great! Sorry we didn't get his name.
Fête is for my money, the best restaurant on Oahu. Alan Wong's, Chef Mavro's, and a handful of other Honolulu restaurants offer amazing cuisine and service, but they are super expensive. Robyn Mai'i the chef/owner of Fête is a talented chef, producing consistently good, innovative dishes from freshly sourced local products. Even the wine list is well thought out with wines you won't find elsewhere on the island. I give this restaurant the strongest possible recommendation.
Qualitativ hochwertige Speisen. Es war sehr laut in dem Restaurant. Reservation wird empfohlen.
Excellent menu. We sat at the bar, but it was spacious and the bar staff were incredibly attentive. The fete toasts and smoked beet salad with whipped gorgonzola were delicious. The Meyer lemon gnocchi were a touch under, but also tasty. The restaurant has an East Coast feel and ambience in the middle of paradise. Definitely worth a visit. We will be back!
Hostess could have been more present in her duties, but everything else was excellent.
Loud and slower service. Neither waiter was engaging. Food was very good
The food here is outstanding, even the raw oysters which can be quite iffy here in Hawaii (since they travel so far). We also enjoyed craft cocktails with those oysters. The service was a bit chaotic, thus the rating there. We will be going back!
First time on the second floor. The food was not warm, it was disappointed.
We had our Christmas Eve Date Night here at Fete. Our awesome Chef’s Counter Seats were the best seats in the house! Started our meal with a Mexi-Ahi, My Love had the Niihau Lamb Sausage Cavatelli, I had the Beef Cheeks Risotto, then we ended our wonderful meal with warm fresh Bombolini and a scoop of Road to Hana - Rocky Road Ice Cream YUM! As a Christmas Gift, we got Christmas Stollen Bread, perfect for tomorrow’s Family Christmas Breakfast! #MerryChristmas2019
Yet another restaurant that has adopted the practice of adding a “service charge” to your bill. Perhaps gratuity will no longer be necessary if restaurants continue this irritating trend.
Loved Fete! Service and lunch were fantastic for our party of eight!
Great food and great service! Will go back again!
We had bar seating reservations. We were very lucky to be served by awesome bartenders! Their suggestions for drink and food were very helpful. The food and drinks were amazing! Best fried chicken, collard greens and cheese grits I’ve ever had! Will definitely have to come back!
My reservations was the day later but they squeezed me and I guess in, even though is was sold out. Thank you to the Fete staff.
My friend and I both had the Nicoise Salad and we both thought the ahi was overly spiced. Shichimi should be used as an accent and not as the primary flavor of a dish. Everything on the plate was fresh and cooked well so it’s a shame that the pepper was just too strong. I recommend the person who seasoned the fish taste it themselves.
Overall good experience. Recommend better control over consistency of menu items. Cioppino, was excellent my first visit during Restaurant Week. Cioppino was merely a tomato soup with hints of clam juice and a piece of fish about the size of a nickel. My table (party of 4) ordered half sized cioppino with sandwiches. All were the same.
Fete is always outstanding - the chef, the staff, the food and the whole experience. We were there on a Monday night at 6:00 pm and by 7:00 the restaurant was full. One of my guests commented that Fete was an amazing restaurant that still seemed to be a bit of a secret for most diners. I would also add that the prices are fair and once you start to taste the food you begin to realize what a value Fete is for the money. This is a wonderful restaurant and the environment it provides very special. Congratulations to all who make Fete such a special place. Thank you.
Great American fare with local touches. The place was packed but we still enjoyed an intimate dinner with friends. The food was spot on. Joshua and the rest of the service crew were too explaining the ever dish and making us comfortable. We definitely will be back soon.
next time I hope oyster、
I will visit December 29th,
Still our favorite place to eat on the edge of Chinatown. Check their daily fresh fish special or order the fried chicken. A wonderful and esoteric wine list. Finish with the rocky road ice cream!
Love this restaurant and will for sure come back. Everyone loved the drinks, desert, and the service. As for me my New York Steak was over cooked and rubbery. Not sure why you would butterfly a New York just tasted old and no seasoning. The onion rings great and appetizers awesome. But will full sure come back and still my favorite restaurant. Just the steak not good.
Food and service were fine. Only problem is they squeeze the tables for two really close and the room is very noisy already. So kind of hard to hold easy conversation with dinner partner.
The food is great as usual. Love Chef’s creation.
Drinks are always amazing here and the food is yummy. Not the best of the best, but up there.
Our server Mona was wonderful. Food, wine and overall experience was great. The wooded seats are not very comfortable.
Aloha. Love Fete so much for restaurant week came twice. Great value & service.
Another great late dinner at Fête. Food and service are consistently great. Nice wine list. Can be a bit loud, especially with a large party seated, but never to the point that it becomes an issue.
