Fern Street Wine Bar & Kitchen
Nice, friendly place with reasonably priced small plates. Can be on the noisy side, so choose your table carefully. Very friendly staff
Friends in town
Excellent food and service. I highly recommend it.
We were visiting from Chicagoland and loved the ambiance of this place! Cody and his team delivered great service and excellent freshly prepared food in full view. We will be back!
The food is amazing, and our server, Tuesday, was excellent at recommending some delicious menu items, including pork cheeks, macaroni and cheese, a delicious charcuterie board, and a vegetarian flatbread pizza. We also shared a bottle of wine. For all four of us, I think the total was around $40.00 per person, which is not bad for the area!
Atmosphere was nice and food was okay.
Really enjoyed everything we ate! Excellent preparations nice section, decent wine choices, have dined here a few times and really always enjoy it. Have been there for dinner only, but it would also be a good place to stop for pre-dinner drinks and some of the cheese/charcuterie selections first.
My first time there and cannot wait to go back
Overall it was a good experience, but out of 4 meals, the chicken unfortunately was not good. It was overcooked and very dry. I did not bring it to their attention as it's not my style to return things but in hindsight i should have let them know. Otherwise, the 2 ducks were superb and the wood oven pizza was 2 thumbs up. Charcuterie board was also excellent. Very good wine selection too. I would recommend this place and will give them another try when I'm back in town.
Very cozy and cute decor. Great happy hour!
This could be a good restaurant...if, you eat by yourself. If you dine with anyone else, be prepared to lip-read. It is impossible to hear anyone else unless you are nearly yelling. We asked that the music be turned down but that is not effective. The industrial-style decor is the problem. Lots of concrete, polished tile, etc. I’ve been to other restaurants with this design that have effectively dampened the noise but not this one. Very unfortunate, the food was good, the service attentive.
We loved the look and feel of the space. The food preparation and presentation were very well done executed. Our waitress was efficient but lacked personality.
It was an overcast Saturday night when we visited. Unfortunately the owner chose to move the live music from the outdoor space inside. This created a very challenging environment for us. It was almost impossible to hear the person sitting across from you not to mention our friends further down the table.
We brought this to the attention of the waitstaff and manager. They apologized and conceded they had made a mistake and the noise level was too high. No reparations were offered.
Not sure if I will return,
Good food, nice outdoor dinig
Perfect place for outdoor dining on a warm evening. Food quality great, and something to fit everyone’s taste. Took friends the second time we dined there, and they shared our view that this was a great place for conversation and food.
Nice Atmosphere. Very good food. Walking distance to Kravis
Overall it is a good restaurant, we enjoyed the food and the service. The price is a bit high.
We sat on the couches outside, listening to amazing live jazz music and eating delicious, fresh food. It is a fun night spot in downtown WPB with really nice lighting and outdoor ambiance
Everything was excellent I’ll be back again
We loved the restaurant. We were able to sit out in the courtyard surrounded by the interesting murals. It was a cool evening but they had heat lamps that kept us warm. The waitress was very professional and knowledgable. We truly enjoyed the food. We started with a meat and charcuterie platter which was delicious, &shishito peppers. My husband had the steak, he said it was a little fatty. I had the scallops and roasted carrots which I really enjoyed. Our friends had the salmon and a large salad. The dessert was amazing. Smores cooked in a cast iron pan so the Ecuadorian chocolate stayed soft, served with graham crackers. I would definitely go back. Fun place. They had live music as well.
We have never been disappointed with Fern Street. They accommodate eating allergies and are always attentive and respectful. The food is consistently fresh and prepared to order. I would recommend Fern Street for any Occassion.
Super interesting food in great setting! GO!
Everyone was great and it was great to watch the chef prepare the food. We loved all of it and the outside area was incredible.
Ruby in the Rough. Nestled between city place and quadrille street, quaint wine bar with chef inspired plates. Great happy hours 5-7 with good selection of food and wine. Outdoor seating is the place to be. Park-like setting with artist painted walls, lighting creating great ambiance as it gets dark. Could be a bit more seating available as happy hour has limited space outside. Market pizza was fresh, hot and unique with its cheese trio and basalmic reduction. Enough to share. Menu is limited but unique offerings will satisfy most palates. Casual dress, comfortable seating I will be back and bring new friends!
Great outdoor space. Menu was small, but the food was well prepared. 2 people had the snapper special & thought it well prepared with local vegetables as complement. One had the regular menu salmon & liked it. Our fourth had the filet - again well prepared. The Bibb salad is also good.
Service was pleasant but slow.
Must sit outside, gorgeous evening with live music. Food was overall good. Great place for the ambiance!
Great food. Wonderful selection of wines. We had the scallops, charcuterie and cheese, shishito peppers, and grulled veggies. All prepared beautifully. The outdoor seating is like eating in a small park. Music on the weekend.
The only negative comment I would have is about the bathroom. The place is so nice and not so much when you enter that room and I believe there is only one. And I mean only one.
Our waiter was awesome, the servers were awesome and so was the food. Would definitely recommend it and will be going back!
Wine selection was bad and it was overpriced. Food was also overpriced. Not happy to pay $38 for a bottle of wine that tasted like vinegar.
Best of West Palm Beach.. and Beyond!

A hidden gem, right in the heart beat of the downtown area where you want to be.
I absolutely loved this place the food the drinks the service were outstanding!!
We had a very nice evening at Fern Street. Great place with great food!
This was such a great find. Not knowing the area I was going in blind. The ambiance and the food were amazing. The manager (or maybe owner?) was welcoming and friendly.
We spent New Years Eve at Fern Street and had a fantastic evening. The patio looked gorgeous, the staff were attentive and the food and music great. Thank you!
Food is excellent and although the menu is not large there are choices for all sorts of eaters (even our 3 year old grandchild loved trying our dishes). Service is relaxed but very attentive. This is our second time at the restaurant and we had a wonderful evening again.
Really, really, really slow kitchen. Plan to spend two and a half hours eating dinner. Not great if you have hungry kids with you.
Asked for iced tea. Didn’t have any. Asked for hot tea.
Waited for appetizers a long time.
Absolutely fabulous restaurant. We sat outside in the cool courtyard and had a wonderful time. They have heaters if they are necessary. Every ingredient was top notch and nothing was over complicated (or overcooked). What a terrific experience.
The food was great. However, it took an hour to get our food. Portion sizes were too small. And the dining area was so loud. Needs acoustical dampening.
Really enjoyed visiting for the first time since it's been under the new management & new name. Great atmosphere, fun to watch the kitchen activity, and the food was outstanding. Will definitely be back!
We really enjoyed Fern Street. It was a rainy night so we couldn’t sit on the patio which looked really nice. There was a live band that was supposed to play outside but due to weather played inside. They were VERY loud. Aside from that the food was great - very veggie-friendly. Super fresh food. Salmon was outstanding. Wine was great too. Delightful service.
