   Have been wanting to try this place for ages and it did not disappoint. We had the Valentine’s Day set menu and it was all delicious, the service was amazing and the wine/fizz was divine. It’s such a lovely independent spot and I’d highly recommend visiting!

   A very disappointing experience. We turned up for a meal booked via Open Table, only to be told that a supper club was going on and we could not have dinner. I had the confirmation via Open Table on my email. As we were in Hackney Wick on a Tuesday without any other comparable options, this was really annoying. It did not help that we were told by the manager "We put on Instagram that we're having a Supper Club" or that "We Told Open Table to remove the Tuesday".

   Very original food, we had the prune, the egg, the iberico salad, the crozetto, the flatbread and dessert. Everything was amazing! The prune is served with an incredible balsamic vinegar, and is introduced as you would for a wine. This was already an experience in itself. All the other dishes were so flavoursome and the flatbread is a must-have! The dessert was a rhubarb cake served with a shot of rum, and was the perfect ending to a feast! We will definitely be back

   I recently dined at Ferm of Wyk for dinner. The menu boasted a mix of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern inspired dishes, which set it apart from the usual fare. Each dish we sampled was really flavoursome. However, it's worth noting that the service was a bit sluggish, as echoed in other reviews. Dishes come as they are ready and there is a noticeable wait between dishes. This makes the overall dining experience a bit stop/start. Recommend just sitting back with a bottle of wine and leaning in to it, the food is delicious.

   We were advised that the menu consists of sharing dishes, but the portion sizes didn’t reflect that, and didn’t justify the prices. Service was really slow and unfriendly, after 1.5hrs of sitting there we still hadn’t received one of the dishes. That being said, the flavours were really good - I just wish that there had been more food on the plate. Unfortunately after leaving Ferm of Wyk we had to go to another restaurant as we were all still very hungry

   On the site it listed a full menu. When we arrived, it was only serving raclette. At that point we had already put down a deposit (which we would have lost) and it would have been tricky to find somewhere else at 8:30pm. The raclette was beyond basic. Just boiled potatoes and cheese, plus some ham. For this they charged £35/person. Service was relatively unresponsive throughout the evening.
