   We have lunched at Feast for the last 5 ish years at Christmas & have never been disappointed. Now because we are ageing ( late 70’s ,early 80’s),we are lunching 6 monthly Yesterday ( last Feast lunch ) was exceptional ( except I lost my Sun glasses ). We hope after the renovations, lunch isn’t too expensive!

   I was disappointed in the lack of variety of salads. There used to be a lot more selection in years gone by.

   Of all the years that we have been going to the feast restaurant, this was very pleasant dining. As usual the soup was a disaster The chef making the soup should taste it before sending it out. Otherwise the value for money was good. You should keep the buffet going and not eventually change to ala carte. $99 dollars is about right and if you kept it at that you would have kept a lot of repeat clients.

   Sheraton Feast is a good selection of food in its buffet, seafood ( crabs, oysters, prawns and salmon), carvery, salads and dessert. We certainly ate our fill, however, it is probably not value for money, even with a 50% discount Club Marriott.

   The food is very ordinary and limited choices for a top buffet. The hot food and dessert bar was Rsl club standard. The prawns and oysters were fresh and good but the baked salmon and rose beef were overcooked and not good at all.. The service was extraordinary and the waitresses esp Michelle ŵas very good.. Not a good eating experience and only offset to assume extent by the great service. That is probably the reason why the restaurant cannot compete.

   I remember many years ago when I went to Sheraton for buffet there was so many food options. This time round there was not many food options. Also, considering that you sold it as a "seafood buffet", I was expecting octopus, squid, calamari, Moreton Bay bugs, lobster, mus crabs, fish & chips. But all you had was prawns, oysters, salmon, and blue swimmer crabs. I was extremely disappointed. No wonder you are closing down. Because I would not have recommended Sheraton buffet anymore. I use to be a big fan but not anymore.

    Our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our lunch with the Penfolds champagne experience added. Wonderful array of food, marvellous champagne and every single member of staff was professional and warm towards us. Highly recommend and would go again.
