All the waiter and waitress were overwhelmed. Cocktails were too sweet, mussels too spicy, the cauliflowers too salty. The table was wobbly and dirty.....It was not a good experience.
on the top of that, a waitress told us the restaurant will close down soon.
Excellent food with an awesome decor.
Food was great. Service was ok, but could have been better. Looking forward to the next location.
Interesting place but the restaurant is closing end of December...
Food was really good. Service was awful. We made a reservation in advance, but were told when we arrived that a reservation doesn't guarantee you a spot. Not sure if they understand the literal definition of a reservation. Once seated, we waited on a waiter for 15 minutes. When one did not come, we asked the host to send us one. Ordered drinks. He came back with our waters, but none of the other drinks. He came back twice more and told us our drinks (coffee and tea, not alcohol) would be right out. Food went the same way. Only saving grace was the actual food. The WT, SA Breakfast and Eggs in Hell were amazing. The pancakes unfortunately were burnt. Overall, a pretty disappointing experience. I can see why they are closing.
The food is always delicious and presented beautifully. I had the oyster shooters with prosecco followed by bison carpaccio with Fullerton pinot noir. The bison is served with sauteed capers, arugula salad and toast points. The burger and the seafood sampler were my companions' choices. They loved them!
The Beets! Absolutely delicious. And the lamb kabobs, Wow! The Crispy Chicken piccata, perfect crispy crust, and juice chicken breast! It was relatively quiet because it was a Thursday night, so we had a really attentive waiter who was "just the right amount" of attentive. He was a good salesperson too. He recommended the chicken. Great choice. I did not enjoy my mixed drink, but I am not a Martini connoisseur, so, what do I know! Next time, a different drink choice.
We went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, they were able to accommodate 1 more person and the food and service were outstanding!
This place was awesome and extremely busy. The food was good
Sorry to write but Feast was absolutely horrible at Brunch. Crepes were cold and I had to send my steak back because of instead of medium-rare, as requested, it was super well done. Couldn't even cut it. The second steak came out rare, but full of grizzle. The service was even worse.
One of my favorites for a night out!
We took our grown kids and spouses for our anniversary celebration over Sunday Brunch. We enjoyed every dish and the service was attentive but not intrusive. Very enjoyable!
First night of new menu. There was obviously a lot of work invested to get things right on night 1 because everything was spot on. We ordered the whole menu and they paced us well.
Everything was very nice but here are some favorites: lamb kabobs, chicken piccata, smoked cauliflower, semolina pasta with lobster, fresh green salad with figs (can’t remember name), tuna tartar salad.
The drinks were ok. I ordered the queen and it was not consistent. Different every time. Also, the food was good. Glad to see they brought back the lamb kabobs. The atmosphere was great. BUT DISAPPOINTED with the drinks. Bartenders need to be consistent. Food & drinks at a restaurant are VERY important.
Loved the food quality and flavors. The martinis were outstanding. I wish the restaurant would consider a noise control system, it's pretty loud..
Server was bad
I expected to like Feast and overall I did. My major disappointment was their coffee. I expected really good coffee at a place known for their brunch. The coffee had a bit of a strange taste and was barely warm. I will give the wait staff credit for warning me when I asked if it was good, and then he didn’t charge us for the disappointment. The other disappointment was the volume of the music. My friend and I were eager to catch up, and there was too much sound for too little space.
The decor was dynamic and fun and I’m willing to go back for a meal that doesn’t require coffee.
Always wonderful. I took my mom for her birthday before we went to the Majestic and she commented that the Lamb Kabob's were BETTER than the ones she had in Israel on her recent trip there. Very authentic and everything was so good. We also loved the Chefs Special Fried Chicken Picatta. Overall so good!
Always a great experience there!
This was recommended to us, but I have to say, it was a disappointment. The food was fairly pedestrian for the price and the quality did not compare to other brunch locations for the cost, not to mention that the location itself seemed to be falling apart - it does not take much to wipe off surfaces and clear air vents of build up. I will not go back, and frankly, I would advise others against it.
Loved the food but it was so noisy inside, we had to move to the patio just to hear each other.
Kitchen and bar ran out of items unfortunately.
Food was eclectic and well prepared. The service was very good. The noise level made it difficult to have a conversation and the music coming through the speaker right over our heads made it even more difficult. You might consider softer music indoors and save the heavy beat music for outside.
First went to Feast 5 years ago and was so looking forward to going back. Was terribly disappointed this time. The service was inattentive and appallingly slow even though the restaurant was half empty. Most of the food was too spicy. And it was very noisy. Won’t go back again.
Service was horrible. Menu was not correct. Hamburger was ordered medium rare. Was cooked well done and dry. Crepes were not cooked. French toast was good
I am a foodie, and trust me I came to this restaurant with a very high hopes. But I was disappointment at every level!! The entire experience was WORST, and I recommend the management to think about the bad practices they have. It took 3 hrs to get a round of drink and 4 dishes.
1) we waited 45 mins to get the drinks Drinks
2) we waited 30 mins to get a glass of water
3) we waited 1.5 hrs to get the food
After the long wait , we did speak to the manager. He blamed the poor service experience due to lack of the staff. But Mr Manager, a glass of water should not take so long. How about you start helping your staff.
I want to give 0 star to this place , but a single star is for the good food, specially lamb and chicken kebab.
I won't recommend this place to anybody!
For not coming back
The noise level was beyond obscene. And the restaurant was understaffed — had to wait unacceptably lengthy periods just to get a water refill.
Great food, super slow!!!
Second visit here. Food and service were ok. Not spectacular. Ordered the cod; big mistake. Very bland and the sauce did not help.
Food was great! we sat outside by the DJ and it was nice.
Suggest going on a weekday evening. We went on Saturday night. We had a reservation and were sat right away. Our server was super friendly. The restaurant was busy which slowed down the service a bit. It was also incredibly loud (I'm usually not bothered by this, but it was extreme). The food was FANTASTIC. Definitely small plates- very flavorful. Didn't taste anything we didn't like. We'll go back, but hopefully on a slower night.
We we're seated 20 minutes after our reservation because the right table wasn't open yet, but we were more than welcome to have a drink at the bar while we waited. The salads were good, but my husband's burger came out with the bottom bun soaked in blood the waiter did take it back, but the second burger was extremely rare. My lamb kabobs got progressively less done and the last one was raw in the middle.
Cool place! The service was great, and the food was very good. Can’t wait for cooler weather so we can go back and sit outside!
I can’t say enough about the staff! They greeted me right from the beginning and took me to the reserved table. They knew it was for a bridal brunch and were the most helpful! From offering to help Set up to dealing with all of our requests! I couldn’t of asked for better service, not to mention the Amazing food!
Really like the switch to a more traditional menu. Now switched back to small bites. Bar seemed particularly off out of several fairly usual items (Hendricks gin) and sever completely unaware of others (Vesper). Hopefully will be right back on track. One of our Southtown favs!!
We absolutely adore Feast. The ambiance, food, and service is always impeccable. Thanks for being our “go to” date night spot.
Happy hour was amazing! Will definitely be back soon.
Beautiful terrace and food
The food was exceptional, but the service left a lot to be desired. The wine list that was printed was inaccurate, and the waiter had to tell us twice that the wine we chose was unavailable (two different selections). Also, the waiter couldn't remember our order from one minute to the next and had to ask repeatedly what we ordered and then remember to bring our plates out. It was awful. The food was all very good, though.
