Would definitely return. Reservations easily made online, efficiently seated, food delivery quick.
I would have given the restaurant 5 stars if it wasn’t so noisy.
Delicious food, exceptional quality, not so cheap champagne!
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so fun. Everyone there was very polite and attentive. A perfect experience for a Valentine’s Day dinner.
Excellent service. The restaurant was packed on Valentines Day event, but we had a reservation for six people and we were not rushed at all. Flatbreads and crustacean entrees were very good! Swordfish was just okay. I would go back, just not for fish.
Food was great. Staff was great, but a little bit short handed due to it being packed and Valentines day! Will be back for sure.
Everything was amazing! From the service to the food. Corkage fee was only $15 a bottle. The grilled octopus appetizer was delicious. Location is also beautiful, you can walk around Little Italy after!!
Great service and wonderful food. Lots of choices with variety. My husband and I loved everything we tried.
I loved the atmosphere, but the service was slow and inattentive. We had to finally ask for a wait person to come see us when we had been sitting there for 10 minutes. When we got our food, she again was no where to be found. But when it came to paying the bill, she was super fast. The food was average and not very flavorful. This is probably why we could get in for dinner while most other restaurants in Little Italy were packed. The hostess was very friendly though.
It was a group of 12 and they kept telling us they couldn’t split the bill. Some were paying cash and some with card and cash apps were suggested, but a lot of us didn’t use those apps. We were told they could turn the music off, but not down because there was only one speaker in the room and that was a bit odd. Our server was very friendly and the bill was eventually split. Food was great as always.
Stumbled across Farmer's Table as it was the only restaurant that had an reservation available before 9:30 pm! What a great find. All the food was amazing! We will definately back!!
Melissa our server was great. I dont know how she remembered all orders and requests from 10+ guests at our table not to mention the other tables that night.
Bartenders were great. They are knowledgable on craft cocktails and even hand stuff their olives. Customer service, food, speed, accuracy was a great experience. I would def return to try other seasonal dishes.
This place is a money machine thriving off of ignorant tourists. Too many tables, stressed out and overwhelmed staff, and disappointing, poor quality food trying to masquerade as rustic Italian.
My vegetarian dish was luke warm and raw. I couldn’t wait to leave.
all of the food that we ordered was prepared earlier in the day, the order was delivered to us within 3 mins of placing the order with the server. The taste reflected it....
We had really great service at Farmer's Table - Little Italy. This restaurant went above and beyond the traditional service experience since they had enough staff from hostess to waiters to the servers. Beyond the service, the Italian food was really good and reasonable priced for Little Italy standards. Highly Recommend.
Food was good had the sea bass for dinner. The clams and mussels appetizer were fantastic.
We had wonderful food but the service was super slow. We waited forever to get our food and then almost 30 minutes at the end to get our check, then we had to walk the payment inside ourselves.
Pork belly risotto was very dry. Risotto was not fully cooked.
While we were waiting for our drinks there was a rat that came from under our table across the patio and up the stairs. The waiter was aware and did nothing. The flat bread was soggy.
Great environment, however a little expensive for the quantity of food and drinks
My pizza was good but both my wife and her friends chicken dish was almost cold. Drinks were good.
Service was terribly slow. Sat outside in what seemed like the forgotten land. Took 10 min for our server to come over to take drink orders then another 10 min to come back and say they didn’t have the drink I ordered. Barely checked on us almost to the point we thought about walking out.
Were really hoping for more
the food was okay. our service was horrible. we made reservations and still waited 15 minutes to be seated. after being seated we not see our server for another 15 minutes. it was SD restaurant week which we were really excited about, our server had no idea what was on the menu or anything about any of the specials. we let them know that someone in our party had a dairy allergy and asked for her recommendations or what she new about the menu items. she recommended, she had to go back 4 times to ask i’m not sure who about the menu and even then had information wrong. we ended up having to do quiet a bit of meal swapping around our table to get a meal together for the person who had a dairy allergy as the server recommended a dish that was covered in a cream sauce. i had heard wonderful things about farmers table was so excited to it, however was so let down by the experience.
This is becoming my favorite restaurant. Each of our meals was delicious.
Went in for restaurant week and was very pleased with the design and decor of the restaurant. It being a Friday night, it was packed full up but we had no wait thanks to the reservation. There was a bit of a wait for our server but the staff was all very friendly.
Drinks were strong and tasty, especially the Truth or Pear and Blackberry Lemonade. The meal was delicious and hardy. I just was not overwhelmed with the desserts tried. But, highly recommend the pork belly and calamari/ octopus appetizers.
Plan on dining here again and definitely will be recommending it!
From the moment we checked in until the end of our meal everything was perfect! We all ordered different things and all the food was excellent. The service was top notch everyone we interacted with were professional and fun! As the organizer of this get together I’m so happy I selected Farmers Table!!
Food was not good. Pork was overdone and tough. Waiter struggled to answer basic questions about the menu. He didn’t clear plates when bringing our next course. Really basic stuff was not done. I have eaten at other locations and had a great experience! Maybe just a bad day.
Our waiter was outstanding the food was excellent we went restaurant week and the value for the money was very much there looking forward to going back
We thought our food was tasty and properly portioned. However, the overall dining experience warrants a less than wonderful experience due to the extraordinarily noisy dining room. It was almost impossible to carry on a conversation with the person directly across the table from me due to the clamor.
Food was very good, not outstanding. Good pizza. Service was good, but again, not outstanding.
Potatoes where delivered cold, and the place was over crowded
Food was embarrassingly poor.
I ask for one type of bread for my eggs Benedict and I got another and also requested no runny yoke as I am pregnant and they were very running. My meal was also cold so overall I was a little disappointed. My husband however has a steaming hot meal and it was delicious so maybe I just order the wrong thing! Service was friendly and the atmosphere in that part of town is nice if your seated outdoors.
Great venue with excellent food and service
The food was fresh and delicious. The menu had many choices so there was something for everyone in our party. Our favorites were the burrata, polenta and boar, artichoke ravioli and risotto. They also make an fantastic espresso martini!
Seated immediately (although host failed to log us in so Open Table reported us as no shows). Wait staff very good. Cocktail was very good. My salad was just OK (wilted lettuce, tasteless dressing, requested protein in large, thick, unappealing slabs). Daily specials are published with no prices. I would go back to try other dishes because I’m hopeful it was not a typical experience.
Awesome place! The food is soooo delicious! Very interesting decor inside! Would recommend 100%! Can’t wait to go back
Menu looked great, but execution left a lot to be desired. Had the duck gnocchi and spent much of my meal picking things out of my mouth that were inedible, such as (what I think were) cardamom pods and herb stems -- that made for lovely table manners. Also, rather overpriced for the quality of food. Those Little Italy rents are high, I get it, but with so many great places on the same street, the food needs to really shine.
The food was okay and everything was just okay cost to much for just okay tasting food
service wasn't great. food was ok. worth a try if you've never been to make up your own mind, but we won't be going back.
