Had lunch to celebrate my mam's birthday. Staff just fantastic - friendly and informed. Food was just fantastic and really good value for the quality. Best if all my man really loved her food and the fuss the staff made of her. Top class. We will be back

Very disappointed with the service & food on our visit. We were a party of 5, our orders were taken. After a time the first three meals arrived. 3/5 minutes later the fourth dish arrived & a further 7/9 minutes the final dish arrived. Our orders were uncomplicated so don't know what the delay was. I had a bolognese dish & it was quite tasteless. All in all disappointed! Our bill came to over €200!

Our menu is not strictly traditional Italian, but rather a creative take on Italian-inspired cuisine designed to complement the unique atmosphere and character of our cellar bar. We are genuinely confused why you feel we are a ‘tourist trap’, as we are deeply supported and well-loved by our local community, with many regulars and repeat guests. The waiter was a little hard to understand but very nice.we liked getting seated right away. But he was a little anxious and quick. We ordered before we were ready. And I ordered a bottle of wine but he only brought me a glass. We like the policy of allowing no cork fee. And we wish the market was open for shopping after dinner. We would have bought a few things

Fantastic service, the staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The food was great and we loved the huge selection of wine by the glass. A great experience!

Great ambience and excellent service. We took our waiter’s recommendations and loved everything. Shout out to Simon. Wine selection and cocktails was outstanding.

Staff always helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. Great for a relaxed meal - a little or a lot of food & great wines. Menu not updated for a while - would love some salad options.

Started off with buying a bottle upstairs (staff in shop seem to think this was the system), and Manager explained it was only bottles bought in cellar could be opened at table. Brought bottle back up and got refund and got a bottle, very reasonably priced, in cellar. As a gesture of goodwill Manager gave us glasses of prosecco to apologise for confusion. We shared a liver pate plate and arachini balls, all really flavoursome. Main of fish stew, riccotta and courgette spagetti were superb, really tasty, good size portions, could not find fault. Finished off with birthday treat and esperesso. First time in a long time I have said service was great, not if your face but diligent and both servers extremely passionate about food and wine. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back.
