I was very disappointed with the overall dining experience. I ordered the braised American Wagyu short rib. While it was tender and easy to pull apart, the meat was unfortunately quite dry on the inside, making it difficult to enjoy — I only managed a few bites. My fiancé had the seared scallops, which were well-cooked and flavorful. However, the presentation left a lot to be desired. The corn and salsa verde accompaniment not only looked unappetizing but was also served cold or at best lukewarm, which detracted from the dish. Given the restaurant’s upscale atmosphere and the high price point, I expected a much higher standard in both food quality and attention to detail. We shared our concerns with our waitress, but disappointingly, no manager came over to acknowledge the feedback or offer an apology. Overall, the experience did not live up to our expectations, and we left feeling let down.

Always enjoyed Fahrenheit when it was located in Tremont. First time at 55 Illuminating Bldg. The ambiance was different but just as enjoyable. The dining room and bar are sophisticated yet comfortable. The food was exceptional and everything I have come to expect. Bar none -had two of the best servers (Ramin and Brenna). Attentive, knowledgeable and personable. We were well taken care of - dinner was nicely paced - questions were all answered and on top of it they were just two very nice people.

Service was top notch and great pyrotechnics! Noise level was over the top and difficult to hear table mates.

Excellent food. Had spring roll, Schnitzel,and salmon. Mark our server was exceptional. Answered all our questions about the menu while providing fast and friendly service. Can't say enough great things about the whole experience

Had an early dinner with close friends - we had oysters, wakame salad , Caesar salad and crispy rice spicy tuna app- all excellent - Our server , Savanna was young , funny and knowledgeable- entrees included scallops, duck (2 ways !) and CLE Schnitzel- with a couple bottles of wine - wow really happy , well fed , excellent service great place will return!

Very disappointing experience at Fahrenheit. We were seated in a side room with far less ambiance than the primary restaurant. Being sat in this location may have contributed to the general lack of attention from the staff. We ordered sushi for the table which was forgotten. More than a hour since sitting down, we asked about the sushi. It eventually arrived after our main course. One order of the short rib had to be sent back because of how tough the meat was when attempting to cut. A filet mignon was overcooked and mention to the staff. Multiple drink orders were forgotten and had to be asked for multiple times. When we approached the manager he brought four $25 gift cards to the table and sat them down without saying anything. After our meal, they brought out dessert spoons, possibly for complimentary dessert which never arrived after waiting more than 15 minutes. It appeared to have been taken to the table next to us who hadn’t even received the meal yet. After a few more minutes of waiting for anyone to come back to our table we had to seek out the manager to ask for our bill. We handed him the gift cards and that was the last time he spoke to us. After waiting for another 5-10 minutes the Maitre d approached us. We explained all of the issues experienced to which they replied the sushi had been removed from the bill and that was all they could do for us. We asked if the gift cards were applied to the bill which they replied those gifts cards were only for new customers (which we weren’t) and could not be combined and they didn’t know why the manager gave them to us but we would not be getting them back. At that point we paid our bill and left without so much as an apology. After leaving the restaurant I received an email notifying me that our reservation had been cancelled by the restaurant in an apparent attempt to prevent me from leaving a negative review. I contacted Opentable who kindly opened the reservation back up to share this.

The food was delicious. The appetizer of shrimp was good but the shrimp we small so it wasn’t worth the price. The tableside smoke show was a cool experience if you like old fashioned or manhattan drinks. The ribeye was so tender you could cut it with a butter knife.

Ate at Farenheit at lunchtime. Made a reservation that required a credit card if we didn't show up and the place was literally empty. That seems ridiculous. The ambiance and seating was very nice. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The lunch menu is limited, which was not a problem, but the sandwiches were very small. I got the grilled cheese with tomato bacon jam and it was very tasty. I selected the chips with my sandwich. They had a slightly unpleasant taste (perhaps old grease?). If I had known the fries were shoestring fries (not listed anywhere on the menu that I saw) I would have ordered those. My companion got those and they were much more tasty. The one unpleasant aspect of our visit was this odd smell that periodically kept wafting past us. I have no idea what it was or where it was coming from, but it kind of spoiled my experience.

I was really looking forward to the food. I had the Yukon golden mashed potatoes, roasted truffle wild mushrooms and the rock shrimp. I wasn’t impressed the mushrooms were cold I sent them back to be heated up still came back cold the potatoes were cold as well. I won’t be returning. I can say my husband enjoyed his Ceasar salmon salad. For what they charge the food she be nice and hot.

Got there and was offered by valet to keep my car in the front of the restaurant, which I appreciated because I do drive a new and expensive vehicle…he then promptly told me “there’s an up charge to do that though”, which frankly sounded tacky and off putting. Went to the rooftop before dinner reservations. The old fashioned’s were shaken in a shaker, which I’ve never seen nor is that the correct way to make them. Just surprising considering with tip that was over $60 for 2. And they were served on the rocks, not with an ice block or ball, also surprising and underwhelming. Went to dinner. It was my daughter’s birthday. The staff knew that when we walked in. I’m not sure how many people have family dinners for a 14 year old birthday, but I can’t imagine it’s overly common..having said that, the food came out for dinner, and my daughters sushi did not come out. …after 15 min with no explanation and everyone else’s food now cold, I politely expressed to management my concerns. Apologies were made, but there was no effort to make it actually right in the moment. I wasn’t asking nor did I ask for anything to be comped, but that would have been the right move. Again, my 14 year olds birthday dinner, and her food is over 20 min later than everyone else’s….i was told they had one sushi chef there..why only 1 on a Saturday? And also, if that’s the case, why not wait to make everyone else’s food so it all could have come out at the same time. Lastly, we ordered 2 more rounds of drinks, and again, full of rocks in the glass and no ice ball…was told the restaurant was “out of ice balls.” A restaurant of this caliber should frankly not be out of ice blocks for cocktails….its not the Winking Lizard….considering this was a $400 night, and nothing was offered to us to make anything right, I’ll definitely be going to Red, The Marble Room and other local restaurants in the future.
