Fahrenheit - Cleveland
Sunday Brunch: 10:30-3:30
This was my first time to Cleveland and a friend recommended Fahrenheit. Best advice ever! The food was amazing! The service was excellent too. I wish I could have eaten more, it was that good. The menu has many wonderful choices to choose from, I wanted to try one of everything. I will make a trip back to enjoy this restaurant again (and I live 2 hours away!).
The last time I ate here I absolutely loved it. This time the six appetizers we ordered were wonderful, but the salads and entrees were not very good. The short ribs were way too salty and other entrees were also disappointing. I have found Dante restaurants to be far from accommodating in the past and they definitely stick with their philosophy of not making any adjustments to their dishes...even very simple ones like mixed greens instead of kale. Won’t be going back.
On the list of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life, the Fahrenheit short ribs are in the top 5. Can’t order anything else, though I did manage to get the bacon wrapped dates as an app, and they are great. Not life altering my great (like the short ribs), but great. Staff is extremely knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, including pairings.
We’ve been to Fahrenheit for over 15 years in both small dinners and groups of 15 or so that we have sponsored. Our experience this time was less than expected. My steak was barely warm only the hot mashed potatoes it was placed on kept it from being cold. My wife’s black fish was very good. Like a sea bass. And the restaurant is do dark you have to use your cell phone to read the menu. We ll be back in time
Excellent service and cocktails. Food tasted great. I would’ve had the grilled avocado for brunch rather than an app at dinner. Restaurant was very dim, hard to read menu. Also, a little on the expensive side but all around great outing. Would go back again.
It was vert loud. We had gone there with friends and found it very difficult to have a conversation with them. It seemed to escalate as the night went on, everyone was trying to talk over one another.
All of the appetizers were tempting, so we ordered several for the table all of which were absolutely delicious. Everyone had a different entrée and every single offering, including the selected dessert and our incredibly unique cocktails were FABULOUS!!!
Food was delicious , but atmosphere was ok very noisy, restaurant need be update, not enough light above table to read menu.
My wife and I had a fabulous meal. The bacon wrapped dates were so good. I had the short ribs my wife had the pork tenderloin. These were 2 of the best meals we have enjoyed. Tiffany was our servers, she was excellent. We will definitely come back.
Really good food and nice ambiance. Just a few things prevented this restaurant from being outstanding. The tuna nacho appetizer was very light on the tuna (probably the equivalent of one piece of tuna sashimi). The entrees very heavily sauced/seasoned and were a little overpowering at times. The entrees could have been more balanced as well, more vegetables should've come with the entrees. And finally, the service was a little slow and uneven.
The main dining room can very loud!
If ordering a pizza , keep in mind it’s large enough for at least 2 people if not three!
Had a great 30 th Anniversary dinner. Just a little dark to read the menu. Didn’t feel rushed. Would go back and recommend to friends and family.
Food was average
Too dark to read menu easily
Terrible ambiance -
We had a party of 4 and were seated in the back of the restaurant with extremely low lighting.
We could not see anything. All of us and everyone around us had to use the lights on our cell phones to see anything.
I asked our waitress if the lighting could be turned up and she replied "absolutely, sorry about that". She proceeded to take our drink orders and after a little bit brought our drinks to us. I noticed the party sitting next to us also requested the lighting be turned up.
When she returned to take our appetizer order I asked again if the lighting could be turned up and said, if it can't be then we'd like to move to a different area where we can see. She replied that the manager was working on it and that it would be taken care of shortly.
We ordered our appetizers and ate them in the dark. Still no lighting adjustment.
When our waitress came back to take our dinner order we told her we wanted the bill and that we were done. She disappeared for awhile and when she came back she brought fresh silverware and started to swap out our dirty forks. Again we asked for the bill, which finally came. We left and went next door for better food, better price, happier atmosphere.
I feel like our waitress was lying to us to try and keep us there and just order more food....which I do not appreciate at all!
Excellent food, great chef, excellent service and an overall outstanding great dining experience!
Our waitress Jillian was wonderful. Attentive, humorous, pleasant, witty, great conversationalist, great on recommendations, smart. I could go on and on. She definitely is an asset to Farenheit. Seating could be more spacious. Not big fans of communal seating. We had our own table and arrived early so it was fine, but I could see when the restaurant is crowded it would be noisy and seating would be tight. For a fine dining place we prefer more spacious and less noisy. Food was great. Jillian even brought us a "on the house" birthday dessert which was excellent. Would definitely go back.
Great neighborhood find! The service was great! The food was delicious! Very creative menu! Would definitely go back! Mac n' Cheese was on point! Grilled avocado was amazing!
Too loud to converse at normal voice levels. Lamb shank w marscapone polenta was great but pork tenderloin was disappointing and average at best. Desserts too pricey and Not much variety. Disappointing evening overall.
The food is great. Outside dining is good for people watching. Bring your wallet! Dinner for 2 without drinks...$100
My friend and I stopped in for a quick bite, it was very dark inside around 7pm . Which is ok if I was with my husband , but I understand they are setting the ambiance. Overall the service was great . I did not enjoy my cauliflower appetizer . The menu read " Fried Cauliflower " , it was not fried . Maybe boiled but definitely not crispy. They do have a vegan menu , which I have ordered from before, I will stick to this menu next time.
However, my friend did enjoy the Vietnamese Chicken Spring Rolls.
Chris, our server, was OUTSTANDING! He did not rush us and made my wife and I feel like we were his only customers! His knowledge of the menu was keen because I asked to switch a side dish but he did not recommend it because it would change the dynamics of my entree and he was totally correct!!!!
Our party of 7 was seated promptly at a roomy table in front of the window, the waitress and servers were attentive, it took longer than expected to be served, and the food was bland and unseasoned. We had a variety of dishes, everyone tasted everything, and all agreed that it was not memorable except for the bacon. We ordered bacon, biscuits, chicken and waffles (3), burrito (2), mushroom pizza (1), Cap'n Crunch pancakes (1).
The power was out, but the kitchen was still open and there was seating available outside. Candles were lit and there was still a great environment with great food. Had a great time
As usual, Rocco outdid himself on the food. Every dish is so deliciously flavorful and creative. This place has been my favorite for 15 years and continues to be my #1 choice.
Had an outstanding dinner of the black bass, and great service by Ian! Would definitely recommend to friends and will be back.
The food was really great, but the noise level is pretty high.
We had an excellent meal. Everyone shares a bit of their meal with each other. The Mac & Cheese was awesome.
We went to Fahrenheit for our anniversary dinner and it was wonderful! Great spot and delicious food! I’d highly recommend this restaurant.
Very nice place. The food was very good, and the entire staff was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my dining experience, and the next time I’m in the area I plan to return...
Went for Brunch prior to attending an Indians Game. Food was cool and the chicken sausage was dry and overcooked. Couldn't eat it, "What's wrong with Pork"? Service was good and the sausage was comped. They probably try too hard to be eclectic!
Our waitress Jill was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Obviously a hard worker.
Dessert came with soupy ice cream and collapsed molten cake. Had to flag down waitress.
It had been almost three years since our last visit to Fahrenheit, so we were excited to see if it remained the wonderful fine dining experience that we remembered. Indeed, it has held up just fine, thank you. Food, service, and ambiance are all first-rate, still. From the chorizo-stuffed dates to delicious tenderloin to my delicious halibut and roasted cauliflower entrée, we were all raving about how good everything tasted. It’s not cheap, but Fahrenheit is one of Cleveland’s finest restaurants. Don’t miss it!
This was a lovely restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! It also has a nice, cozy feel to it so...perfect for a date night.
The food was excellent as it has been on past visits.
Unfortunately we had a bad experience. The physical structure just makes the place too loud. we were seated in the back section where all conversation bounces off the ceiling and made it almost impossible to have any kind of conversation.
There was a service issue that was poorly handled. Towards the end of dinner I noticed that in my water glass there was a piece of plastic wrap. When I first saw it I thought it was a piece of ice but after refilling the glass a couple of times I realized it looked too much the-same and fished it out. I notified the waitress and she said she would notify the manager.
I am well aware that it is common practice for restaurants to place plastic wrap over the tops of water pitchers to keep things from falling into the pitchers. This was very likely how this piece ended up in my glass. A short visit from the manager giving this explanation was really all I was after in showing it to the waitress, hoping she would take some time to explain what had happened to the staff and ask them to pay closer attention in the future.
About 20 mins later, when the check came we were informed that the "beer had been taken off the check." It wasn't in my beer, and I didn't ask for anything to be taken off my check. What I did want was an visit from the manager and that didn't happen. My wife, somewhat upset sought out the manager to speak to her but having taken the "beer" of the check she couldn't understand why we had a problem.
Although the food was good I don't think we will be going back
The service was good. While the food was good, I was disappointed at how salty my main course was. I had asked that no salt be added, but the greens (kale, I think) were drowning in salt. The salt level really ruined the meal. I was also surprised when I ordered a Manhattan, that it was served on the rocks. However, the server was very nice about taking it back and serving it up. My friend thought her pork dish was wonderful.
Great meal and wonderful service
I came to celebrate my birthday and ordered my favorite meal the Kobe short ribs. I had been craving it for some time since my last visit in late June. It didn’t taste the same but the manager was very kind and did not charge for it. I’ll be back as the service is always excellent. Sometimes you just have a bad batch.
Fabulous food and great service- the 18 hour pork shank was out of this world!
Great food, it was a little dark. I had the short ribs it was good.
