We had an awful experience. we arrived and couldn't get a table for pre dinner drinks. we were then shown to a table that had a cold draught and the food was appalling even though we sent it back and asked for it to be replaced. We didn't pay for any of our food but to be honest we didn't eat any of it. Probably the worst experience we have ever had in a restaurant.

Great food in a nice location. While the one bartender serving 12+ tables (including a party of 15+) was a lovely person, the restuarant were significantly understaffed. I would have rated the ambiance higher but was dismayed that smoking was allowed. I would have opted for the indoor seating had I realized it is the Irish custom to allow smoking in a restaurant when the seating is outdoors.

Came here for drinks for my birthday and everything was great! I mentioned it was my birthday when I was booking it and they arranged a happy birthday brownie (they were even able to give me a vegan one when my pals told them I was vegan). Brambles were so good that’s all we ordered all night. Keith was so friendly and helpful all night too! Thank you!!

Nice upstairs bar area, good view from the windows. Their signature cocktails are good, the traditional ones are ok, nothing special. Two people were due to join our booking but couldn’t make it due to a bad storm. The bar adjusted our booking without charge, but there is usually a €25 fee per person who doesn’t come, per booking. Great that they helped out this time. That cancellation fee seems very high.

The location is great, all levels at restaurant are beautiful and the staff has a routine that accommodates multiple tasks and handles all with ease and and a smile. Very impressive!! However, the music was SOOOO loud, we couldn’t converse with anyone at the table. It was Def negative to an otherwise really lovely place.

Not a great experience. We sat outside in the terrace but there was a flatbread only menu despite what website said. No staff taking drinks orders outside and had to go and find someone. We didn’t bother staying for food and went elsewhere across the street. Disappointing.

Had made a reservation in the cocktail garden for 8:30pm hoping to get some drinks and light bites. Running late for our reservation so I called to say - was told it was fine. Arrived at quarter to 9. Queue outside the door to get in - all people with reservations. Eventually brought upstairs at 9:15 to the cocktail garden by a hostess who told us to stand to one side as the table meant for us was still in use from what seemed to be a large party booking, old drinks ashtrays etc all over the table. She then disappeared. Stood there for another ten minutes before I managed to get a waitresses attention - she did clear off a table for us and we got to order one drink and ask for a menu which was never brought but by the time she came back around we were told it was too late for food. I get places get busy and these things happen but it would have been nice to be able to eat not just have drinks surrounded by a large party of hammered people especially when we were 30mins late being seated due to the restaurants error. Noone really apologised or asked anything as it was so chaotic so we just had our few drinks and left but it was disappointing

We were sitting up at the rooftop. Christian, the bartender, is absolutely wonderful. He always takes such great care of my friends and I anytime we are there and is the main reason we go back time and time again. The drinks were delicious as always, in particular, The Knee Trembler.

Cocktails are delicious and sitting on the rooftop is great, they have heaters on the wall which makes it very comfortable while sitting there in just a T-shirt. It was incredibly loud. Our table was under a speaker but even still we could barely hear once they had their DJ start the set. Had to ask staff could it be turned down because we were genuinely shouting at each other at our table. The staff members seemed very overwhelmed and unfortunately the service was very inattentive. We tried to catch someone’s attention several times and were left waiting for to receive our second round of drinks for twenty minutes or more. They were quick to clear empty glasses but not to take another order while doing so which seemed slightly odd. One of the servers was getting our bill and I asked could she split it, she said yes and then brought us back the bill for the whole table. When I asked could we have a pen to split our prices ourselves she came back and said she didn’t have one. Our bill was roughly €350 so this was a little frustrating. She never came back and we waited 20 minutes to settle the bill which we did with one of the more helpful servers and he was very quick and efficient all evening when we were able to order through him. Very handy spot in town, cocktails are very well made but the service for the most part was sadly disappointing. I would recommend here but for a quieter evening during the week when they might be less overwhelmed!

What an absolutely awesome bar, restaurant and generally great place to go with friends. We were a large group, so we opted for the gastro bar, and we were not disappointed. Starting with drinks upstairs, which were great, served by knowledgable and amazingly friendly staff. Dinner was exceptional - all food was delicious, and we had a mixed party of veggies and meat-eaters. All in all a great experience, and thoroughly recommended. It is not the cheapest place in town, but you do get what you pay for.

Was given a voucher for Cocktails and Tapas as a birthday gift. Was told on the voucher that we could book any time on a Sunday, so I decided to use it for a nice lunch. However, the cocktail bar doesn't open until 5pm and the menu that we could choose from was extremely limited. Ok no alcohol is not a huge deal but it wasn't the best start. I am gluten intolerant (for real, not just a choice) so the menu was restrictive already. Maitre D mentioned that I could ask for anything and they would adapt it and cook it in a different oil. The team identified dishes they could make, and so was happy to go along with these choices at their recommendation. The kitchen is open and there was only 1 other table of guests in the restaurant so I could hear them openly say they couldn't guarantee anything and shrug their shoulders knowing that food would be cross-contaminated. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence that what you are about to be given will be safe for you to eat. It should also be noted that the menu does note allergens but was missing some obvious ones eg Duck springs surely contain gluten (well not according to the menu). The food that did arrive was mediocre to poor. Overall it was just a poor experience - expected more and would definitely not return.
