Fabian’s Italian Bistro is worth checking out any day, but if you happen to be in the neighborhood on Tuesday or Wednesday, you’re in for a treat. Tasting Tuesday dinners include an ever-changing special tasting menu, where you can try smoked pork, scallops, pork tenderloin, polenta, squid ink spaghetti and more. Wednesdays at Fabian’s Italian Bistro feature select house favorite wines for half price, plus they allow you to bring your own bottle with no corkage.

Staff seemed overwhelmed- did their best, and team members, including manager stepped in to do their best. The patio was nice, and our server professional, but had too many table (my thought) The food was. As always quite good. Maybe the red lettuce salad should be served a bit below room temperature, but the pistachios and goat cheese with the dressing was sublime. I ordered halibut puttanesca- fish cooked nicely, but I expected a more robust puttanesca- anchovies, capers and fennel are ..’forward’ flavors not all like. Those of us that do, and still order with expectations , expect more than 4 or 5 capers, no essence of anchovy and a tiny decorative sprig of fennel sprout in a bowl of tomato soup. I added dried cracked red peppers, Worcestershire and lemon - they happily provided (I was not the first) - it worked out well. Unfortunately, as the staff was obviously overwhelmed, our actual server (or the manager ever checked on us after a busser brought us our food , then brought me the accoutrements - don’t know the young gentleman with dark hair and a goatee - but he’s a keeper! But next time, the Short rib. Love the place - and the patio is wonderful on a nice evening.

Our reservation was booked for the indoor seating however it was so nice in the courtyard that when asked we requested outdoor seating. It is lovely as usual, the food was excellent too! We both enjoyed the Red Salad, with peaches, pistachios and goat cheese as an appetizer, then followed with Mussels and spicy fries and Gnocchi! As it was wine Wednesday, my wife ordered the wine selection that she enjoyed! The meal were incredible and the service was perfect, and attentive by all that attended to our table! Thanks to all!

Went for a Sunday brunch. The Sunday Punch was very good. The Eggs Benedict were delicious, the Hollandaise sauce just the perfect consistency, although a little more wouldn't have been bad either. The Chef's Mess was also very tasty according to my dining partner, the sausage gravy light and not too heavy. Both dishes had delicious fried potatoes. All in all, a very satisfying and enjoyable brunch.

We ate inside, and it was very quiet….. outside tends to be noisier which is the trade off for ambiance. Food excellent (quite pricey, but that’s the trend 😞), and service very good.Drinks were good too 😉

Another amazing experience at Fabian’s. We had their mocktails - Kiwi-Nojito and the Pomegranate Mule - both absolutely delicious. Starters were the bread and butter, bruschetta, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, and brussel sprouts with bacon. For the entrees, we both did the Porterhouse Pork chop special which was the best pork chop I’ve eaten in my life. It was so tender and full of flavor. We always love going to Fabian’s and don’t hold back when we can try new menu items. Chef Carly and her crew added unique flairs to all the dishes that make it so hard to pick which one to order, that’s how we end up finishing all 4 appetizers feeling so happy. The host, servers, and manager all made us feel very welcome and were kind throughout the visit. It is wonderful dining experience all around.

We have ate here a few times but tonight was terrible. The waitress was missing for literally the entire meal. Someone else brought out a 2nd glass of wine we ordered at 25 min prior. Then the hostess brings our dessert. The waitress never came back til she gave us our bill. We were the only ones eating inside. I’m a waitress, this service was awful and she deserved nothing honestly. The short rib dinner was not very flavorful and the mashed potatoes were disappointing. Runny and lumpy. Just terrible. Tasted like a frozen dinner. Desserts was great. For $300 we were truly sad we came to celebrate my husband’s dinner there. We won’t be back sadly.
