About this restaurant

Friends Wolfgang and Cassie opened Fabi + Rosi restaurant in Austin, in May of 2009. Housed in an old Craftsman-style bungalow built in 1903, the restaurant feels homey and warm, while still being modern. The restaurant prides itself on being environmentally friendly; recycling and composting whenever possible, using produce from the garden behind the building and using eggs from its own chicken coop. Fabi + Rosi also offers outdoor dining on the patio where guests may even bring dogs to dine along with them. Each dish featured on the menu at Fabi + Rosi is made from fresh, organic, locally sourced ingredients. Dinner entrees include such entrees as Halibut, duck roast, Dewberry chicken or schnitzel. All are paired with sides, such as sweet potato mash, leeks or kale. Vegan options are also available.
