Our inspiration is the Zeus Faber, one of many local fish that can be fished sustainably and from our shores; although it has a wonderful Latin come Greek name, it also has a very British name - John Dory.

Faber is the Latin word for ‘Smith’ and as Smith is the most common name in English, we decided it sits well with our ethos - we want to be accessible to all.

Setting us apart from the rest is our commitment to working with local fishmongers who run out to the coast each evening to collect day-boat fish and local ingredients. This means that everything on our menu is fresh, sustainably sourced, and supports the local economy.

Our chef Ollie Bass believes in creating dishes that are not only delicious but also ethical and responsible.

A perfect spot with Eventim Apollo, The Lyric & Riverside studios only 5-10 minutes walk, dine in with us to feel like you're at the coast in the heart of Hammersmith

This is more than just a neighborhood gem. If you want to support both sustainable, conscientious and elevated dining, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The fresh seafood daily special menu is quite extensive and delicious.

A second meal at this restaurant, very enjoyable. Very good food - I had lobster & cheddar croquettes as starter, chalk stream trout fillet as a main, both from the daily specials board, both very nicely prepared and presented. Service was charming and attentive. A nice spacious restaurant with a pleasant ambience, and not too much noise.

Excellent service from the team who were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Food was great too. Wonderful deal on oysters at Happy Hour.

Great find in the middle of a quite barren restaurant scene in Hammersmith. Oysters were great as was the specials board of fish. Friendly service and pricing reflects quality.

What an absolute gem of a place. We were welcomed by Anita and the food matched the service - fabulous. We will definitely be back, thank you Feber for a cracking birthday meal :)
