From Chef Srijith Gopinathan and restaurateur Ayesha Thapar, the creators of Ettan, Copra and Little Blue Door, Eylan offers seasonally-driven Cal-Indian cuisine centered around a wood-fired grill, with thoughtfully sourced produce and a variety of proteins cooked over the embers and served alongside clever riffs on traditional breads from different regions of India. The bar program by West-Bev and Christopher Longoria draws upon the kaleidoscope of ingredients and techniques that make up global cocktail culture, while also taking inspiration from the culinary traditions of India. Wine director Andre Sydnor's program offers depth in classic regions like Burgundy, Champagne, Piedmont, and California, offering a variety of options for casual wine lovers while including more exclusive selections for serious oenophiles.

    Our parking is located beneath the restaurant in a parking garage. The entrance is located off the intersection of El Camino Real and Middle Ave. If you are going north on El Camino Real, make a right onto Middle Ave (if going south on El Camino Real, make a left) and follow the street to the right. The first downward ramp leads down to our parking garage. This will look like an entrance into the condominiums. Once you get to the bottom turn to the right and drive until you find an elevator to the right along the wall. This will lead to our lobby on the first floor.

                                                    Food is exceptional especially the snacks and smaller bites. For the main course (black cod) if only they cook the fish for an extra 20s would be on point (it was almost gooey texture a bit under cooked). Noise level is really the only drop back- we literally had to yell at each other.

                                                    We are big fans of Sriji and our expectations were not met at all. We have been to all his restaurants Campton palace, Ettan , Copra. They were all great. We were six and did tasting menu. They said it was family style but some of the dishes were hard to share. For example, two rotisserie chicken between six people and we were asked to cut them . We had to get an extra roti. All the courses came out too fast. Sometimes to courses at a time. It was too fast paced. We had to send some courses back like music got cold and chewy. Frozen Shrikhand did not taste like Shrikhand at all. At the end we asked for coffee but they only had espresso. They also did not have any tea except tea bags. In all very disappointing.

                                                    Experience was great, we did find it odd that we had so many different servers that we had 2 explanations of the menu while we sat in the bar area - table side service. Tad confusing but all worked out

                                                    Knowledgeable servers well paced service. Food is creative and delicious. Many great choices from which to choose. We haven’t seen soft shelled crab in years and it was outstanding. Looking forward to our next visit.

                                                    Unbelievable first time experience for a date night with my wife. The food was outstanding and our server was amazing. She gave a number of suggestions and we insisted on adding the oysters because who can turn down raw oysters? 10/10 experience. We can’t wait to go back.

                                                    I was really looking forward to a special father's day dinner at Eylan. However it was a disappointing experience. Food was okay, desserts were good and the parking was easy. However service was disorganized and spotty. Drinks show up after the food is served, plates and silverware come after the food is served, and they forget additions to your order. All kinds of small issues that are not tragic but annoying and make for a not-so-pleasant evening. Better to wait a few months until they have their operations ironed out.

                                                    Food was creative, fresh and a delicious meld of flavors. Service was good tho over eager, interrupting our company's conversations to continously seek feedback. While I understand its a new restaurant and wants this feedback, it detracted from our experience. The noise level was prohibitive and music beat too loud. Eylan needs to buffer the noise in the restaurant so diners can hear each other without constantly raising their voices.

                                                    Outstanding! I loved everything! The cocktails were so unique and perfect. The food was the same. If you love Indian food, this is a cut above. Pure pleasure, and the staff is exceptional as well. Love🙌🏻
