The music was loud for me, it wasn't as intimate as I thought. However the food was really good, the service was amazing. Which is very refreshing in this post covid life. From the host to our waiter Alex the entire experience was nice. We will try it again.

Food was excellent. Went out for a date. We both enjoyed the food immensely. Presentation of the food and dining tables was on point. Ambience was comfortable and fun. Happy we picked it. Staff was a big factor in having a good experience there. Juan was our waiters name. So many good things to say about the service he provided and including our whole interaction with him. Tomasina seemed to me to be the manager or maybe head of wait staff. I’m not sure. She came around to all tables making sure everything was on point. Made sure we were happy with everything and made us feel at home. Real professional and charming. Had some drinks at the bar there also. Overall people there were attentive, fun, and professional. By the way we had the sea bass and fried rice. This place does it right. I would recommend these selections and this place. Upstairs bar different story. Disappointed I was served my Bourbon in a plastic glass. Though it was a fancy looking plastic glass. Lol. $21 for a pour That’s fine I chose to go there and I chose the drink. But would be great to have it in a glass glass. Just wanted to give a heads up . Also we got up to dance for one song while our coats and other belongings were still at the table and when we sat back down my girlfriends drink that she only had half of was gone. But not my plastic empty glass. 😉

We had a reservation for 8:30 on a Friday night. We were not seated until 9:45. During the wait, we were smashed in the lobby area constantly being brushed up against by people moving through the area because no one was being seated. Employees said it’s always like this and no one is asked to leave even though the reservation asks you to agree to a time limit at your table. Food was delicious. Music is so loud, you have to yell to those at your table. There are too many other beautiful restaurants in the city that understand the purpose of a reservation.

Experience Zuzu is a 5 star experience without breaking your bank book! The quality of the food and service is on the scale of Prime and Proper. This restaurant is fresh, hip, stylish, and willing to have you walking out feeling like a millionaire!!!! Kudos to Experience Zuzu what you have brought to the B D is beautiful!!!!

Hung out at the bar. Breah was great. She recommended the Sei Less and some amazing sushi rolls. The ambiance was great here. Looking forward to coming back

This place is the best hands down in Detroit! We drive all the way from Bloomfield to have dinner here because we know we will experience amazing service, great quality food, and the best hospitality from the management team. We request Amanda when we come. She will not disappoint.

ZuZu is and forever will be a 10 out of 10. They pay attention to detail in every aspect. From the vibe, to the food, to the ambiance to customer service. Every visit the managers great us and thank us for joining them. We have tried just about everything on the menu and have yet to say something was not to par. Our server Anjelica is top notch.

Came for a Private Event at the Upstairs Bar and we had such a wonderful time. The event was for our company Happy Hour party. The passed appetizers were amazing. Heather and Anthony were the best. The manager made sure our party was well taken care of. Definitely a place to host events!

Horrible!! We were promised table should be ready at 10 and it wasn’t ready till 11. They sat us at a two person high top table and we were squeezed in like sardine’s. Service was horrible. Food was horrible.

My reservation was at 8:30, didn’t get seated until 9:45, the food was average/overpriced due to portion size. Missed my other plans due to the long wait and I couldn’t leave because I would have to wait another hour due to not having back up reservations. The waitress was nice, we tipped her well, but overall I was unsatisfied with the reservation wait time and how I was compensated with a watered down shot.

Sat at the bar and Breah took great care of our group. The specialty cocktails she recommended were great. Sailor Moon drink came in a cute cup. The sushi is fresh and not your usual rolls. The ambiance of the room makes you feel like you are in another state. Love it here

Perfect place to spend Happy Hour at. We sat at the bar and Breah took great care of us. The specific Happy Hour Menu was great and reasonably priced. They have a nice selection of sushi and special plates. Not to mention the list of signature cocktails. The Sei Less was my fav!

Had a fabulous date night! Make sure to try the 11 not 10 and the Secret drink Zuzu has. The bartender Mena did excellent. Her smile lit up the room. She recommended we try the Wings, Walnut Shrimp, and sea bass. We even checked up the Upstairs Bar and it was a vibe.

Hosted a private event at the Upstairs Bar. The strolling appetizers were amazing. They served us Shrimp Lo Mein, Wings, Wagyu Croquettes and Honey Walnut Shrimp. All a 10 out of 10. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The space was beautiful. Thanks to Heather and Stephanie to making it an afternoon to remember.

We have been here a couple times now and it just keeps getting better and better. We try something new every time. This past time we tried the lobster roll, the fried rice, sea bass and filet. Had zero complaints of any of food. Amanda took great care of us. Keep up the great job ZUZU

Our boss hosted a business dinner at ZuZu. The service was impeccable. The wines that they have to purchase is amazing. Mena was able to get us a vintage bottle that was our bosses favorite. The food was excellent. We tried all of the sushi, sea bass, chicken wings, corn and napa salad. Looking forward dinner here again.

Had my birthday party at the Upstairs Bar and felt like a baller. When Heather and the rest of the staff brought out my bottles they brought a special sign just for me and lots of sparklers. The DJ was playing the best hits so my friends enjoyed dancing while partying the night away. This is the newest hot spot in the D!

Did our Christmas gift exchange here. We were sat by the host in the big red booths and LOVED the space we had. The ambiance and decor is very detailed. Our server Heather was great. Make sure to try the fried rice, lobster roll, sea bass and corn. Can't wait to come back.

Came here to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and had an amazing experience. The food was amazing. We loved the walnut shrimp, tomato/crab ceviche, snapper and half chicken. Our server Anjelica was a delight. She made sure to take excellent care of us.

We are repeat customers and every time we come to ZuZu they do not disappoint. The management team is amazing and it shows how much they care about this restaurant. We love sitting at the bar with Mena. Her great smile and conversation she holds is the best. The food at ZuZu is a 10 out of 10. Must try the Pepper Steak and Walnut Shrimp!

Went to visit the Upstairs Bar and had a complete blast! Heather took amazing care of me and my guests for my birthday. The DJ played the top hits and had the entire club dancing all night long.

Came to have a few drinks before our reservation at the Upstairs Bar. This place is sick! Everything about it is amazing. The night club is smaller and intimate. Makes you feel like a baller when you're in the booth. The bottle girls were on point. Constantly pouring shots and replenishing our drinks through out the night. Our new Sunday spot. Make sure to book your table with Steph and Heather.

Sat at the bar and Breah waited on us. She gave great recommendations since this was our first time at ZuZu. We had the 11 not 10 and the Sei Less. They both are must haves. We love sushi so we tried all of them. Literally couldn't choose out of the 6 which one was our favorite. They all were amazing. The vibe was great. Didn't feel like we were in Detroit. Totally felt like Vegas!

ZuZu is the hottest place in Downtown Detroit. It is well worth the drive coming all the way from Bloomfield Hills! They did not disappoint. We felt safe pulling up to valet. The host was extra nice. The restaurant was breath taking! Everything was over the top. The food, the drinks, the service. We even had 2 managers introduce themselves throughout our visit. Anjelica was great. Cant't wait to come back!

First time at ZuZu and had the best experience you could ask for! The food was amazing. My favorite was the lamb shank. Came right off the bone. The sushi was like no other place. Perfect place to celebrate! The ambiance and vibe made us feel like we were in Vegas NOT Detroit. The food was fresh and had a great taste profile. Came to celebrate Biggest Bar Night! It was such a vibe. The energy of the room was great. The food was hot and delicious. The drinks were made to perfection. We ventured Upstairs to end our night. We danced the night away. Heather was great. Make sure to ask for her section.

Can't say enough about this place. Sat at the bar and Mena took amazing care of us. We had never been to ZuZu so she suggested some amazing craft cocktails that they offered. Sei Less was our favorite. We met the managers Stephanie and Rahul. You can tell they take pride in this place. The sushi was amazing. Definitely need to try the Zizzle and Zmoke. Well worth it!

Wanted to try a new spot for the night before Thanksgiving and boy ZuZu did not disappoint. The food was 10 out of 10. The steak melted in our mouth. The service was top notch. Heather took excellent care of us. Bottle service made you feel like a boss! The Upstairs Bar is very elegant.

Food was amazing! Servers were great as well. The restaurant itself is kind of cramped with tables lines along one long corridor. There’s not much space between the tables either which is fine but noise levels are very high along with club music blaring.

It was my birthday so I wanted something new. So I choose Zuzu. The Wagyu rice is absolutely amazing. ORDER IT. Everything we ordered was good but if I go back again I would only order my appetizer and then the Wagyu Rice. Order 2 of them if you want as an entree. Especially if you are hungry. It’s on the menu as a side dish. That’s why I say get two. Lastly it’s a little bit too loud for me here. So if you want a more quiet atmosphere then this is not the spot. Otherwise Check it out. I think you will like it.

We enjoyed our dinner! It’s a beautiful restaurant with Vegas vibes, you don’t feel like you’re in Detroit. Expect a happening place with music playing louder than your regular restaurant.
