Food was excellent the server was scattered. When my husband pointed out she took an order from people who came in 15min behind us, she got rude.
However, in her defense she had tables all over as the bar picked up while other staff stood around talking.

Good place with amazing views. They just really need to work on service. Bartenders are slow, and you have to remind the front desk that your reservation time has come

I was really a little upset that a couple got seated at a table right next to us. Actually they physically brushed against me during seating. There were plenty of empty tables.
I guess that distancing during this Covid virus didn’t apply here although before that we were all separated by an empty table.
Not cool!
Food took more than an hour to get served. ??

Lovely dinner on the patio at Everett’s. Laid back atmosphere. Attentive service. Delicious dinner. Try the basil martini! Probably one of the better cocktails I’ve had in alaska!

The atmosphere was on point, quintessential Alaska.

Music, mountains, lake, you simply can't beat it.

Food was very good, not much else to say, I was impressed.

Building is awesome.

Prices.... well I'll cut them some slack post Covid but it is very expensive, and there is nothing in the way of casual fare.

Valentines Day. 2020. 8:30 reservations. 1week advance. Seated at 8:50. Water served at 9:15. Appetizers served at 10:45. Main course served at 11:15. Other guests had similar to worse experience. Guests shouldn’t talk to one another about their poor service during their “dining” event. Management could not handle the turnout, and made poor choices in executing this holiday event. 10 items on the menu. 2 of them are steak. They’re out of one. Could have mentioned that at the entrance.

This place is normally good. Been here multiple times. Very disappointed. Entered at 8:15. Left at 11:45.

Let's start at the beginning upon arrival the atmosphere was nice it's a nice looking place
When being seated we had to squeeze between two different couples because the seating is very tight.
The lights of the restaurant kept on turning very bright, and then very dim almost completely dark.
I'd like to say that I was the only one who noticed but I wasn't. When ordering, mind you it is a fine dining restaurant in Wasilla, the entrees are very expensive, $86 for a rib eye and a small portion of mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. Again I am aware it's a fine dining restaurant, however I've eaten at Sullivans Steakhouse, Club Paris, Simon and Seaforts and The Haute Quarter Grill, usually a steak dinner of this cost at least comes with soup or salad or even bread. At the time it was a special occasion and I thought no big deal.
So anyway our reservation was at 6:30, we arrive at 6:20 were seated shortly after that, we order both my wife and I both of us order the filet mignon $36 a plate not a big deal. So we wait and wait and over hear customers grumbling " this is ridiculous" and we think wow they must be rude. It's not until we waited 2 hours for our food two filets, no appetizers, just the filets and mine was rare did I understand their complaint we waited two hours for our food that we never received because after two hours of waiting we got up and walked out.
Upon leaving we walked the host who was unforgiving to say the least, a customer was complaining about the $100 steak and lobster dinner he ordered that was terrible and took an hour and a half to receive. Please let me say one thing however I would like to thank the wait staff, they were excellent, and coming to the table repeatedly with apologies and offer multiple items. The host however very rude unforgiving, and in my opinion very arrogant or stuck up.
Everette's I will gladly never spend money here again. Thank you for the experience.

It’a always a great place! We love the view and the overall feel of the place.

My only complaint is the $$. I know it’s not a cheap place and their food IS always good. However, with that said...an $80 ribeye just isn’t something I’ll ever purchase. I can cook my own to perfection...for WAY less than that. Me...I just can’t see it.

And yet...this wasn’t our first trip, so we do obviously like the place. I just get duck and not ribeye :-)

We ordered the crab (which was awesome) and my husband ordered the filet mignon. The filet mignon was barely cooked. My husband who is a meat eater couldn’t even finish it because it was so gross. The mashed potatoes were very bland and the vegetables weren’t cooked all the way either. We were very excited to try Everett’s but were very disappointed. I do want to mention that our server TYLER was amazing and this was not at all his fault. He did amazing. The hostess did not have a smiley face and looked very snobby when I smiled at her when I was leaving. The atmosphere was good.

We waited at the front desk 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us - even though many staff saw us waiting. The girl who did finally show up had walked by and ignored us 3 minutes before. She was the hostess.

Our appetizers were comped because it took over an hour to get them. A group of 4 that came in AFTER us got their dinners before us. This was all blamed on a large party in the main dining room - thing was the entire restaurant was not busy. Once we got our dinners, It was nothing special. Neither bad nor that great.

We felt sorry for the wait staff as they were trying to do a good job but were constantly apologizing.

It’s really a shame because they’ve remodeled the place and it’s beautiful and has lots of potential. We won’t be going back anytime soon.

Although we love eating in the bar area, this was the first time eating in the fine dinning area. First I’ll start with the server, as she was very nice and tried hard to please. The lack of knowledge of the menu and inexperience was very apparent. The food, eating in the bar usually or the deck we were eager to try the fine dinning menu as we really like the burgers. The appetizer bacon wrapped scollops was just a huge let down, served 4 each on a very hot plate and food just barely warm. Screaming this $19 app was pre-made at some point and heated up in the microwave. Bacon and scollops both chewy, flavorless, and just plan unappetizing. The seafood chowder was above average in the flavor department but slightly runny and more on the bisque side of a chowder. Now to the main course, my date got the Ribeye Dip sandwich and myself the Cioppino. Sandwich not worth the $20 price tag, flavorless ribeye meat and not enough to be demean a ribeye dip. These sandwich’s should be dipping on the umami beef flavor not a bland meat substance between two slice of average beard. The cioppino dish was the only saving grace to this $100 meal, really good flavors and seafood was really delicious. The added pasta is nice touch but come hungry, maybe a Linguine pasta would be a better touch then the heavy wider pappardella that’s is quite overwhelming for the dish.
After writing this it almost seems like an episode of a Gordon Ramsey Show. For this we won’t be returning anytime soon.

Drinks took 25 minutes to get to me after ordering and the Food was way overly powered with garlic I spent 114 dollars and I was highly not impressed. Also the waiter said that they forgot to turn on the online seating and makes me think why did I use the app in the first place. Another thing was the food took 53 minutes to arrive and it was not busy. The waiter was super nice but he had way too many tables for just being by himself. I honestly don’t think I will go back for a romantic dinner because of the experience.

Making the reservation only be was the easy part. We sat in the dining room, had a window table, view was great. Ordered a blended Margarita, they don’t do blended drinks! The wine list was limited. Steaks were pricey ($54.) but good. Shrimp Scampi was ok. Waitress didn’t come back to check on us during the meal, we weren’t offered a dessert menu, just brought the bill! Inexcusable. Won’t be back anytime soon.

The service was absolutely terrible! We had 4 different waiters during our dinner. One waiter came to our table to finally take our order, while another waiter was bringing the food to our table. Our water wasn't refilled even 1 time. The food was not good at all. I order shrimp scampi which was basically noodles in a soup full of butter. My husband ordered a burger that was just blah.
We then waited for the bill for another 20 minutes before we finally walked up to the hostess and said that we needed to leave and needed our bill. She said they were super short staffed and sorry. I don't see how they were "short staffed" when there were only about 15 people in the whole place and there were 4 people walking around. Over all TERRRIBLE service, below average food with high quality pricing. Probably won't be back.

Attended mid day on a Thursday and was very pleased overall.
Prices were as expected but perhaps just a bit on the high side for the appetizers.
If I knew how generous the portions and sides were I may have forgone the appetizer :-)
I’m a local and would recommend this venue for a special occasion in the Mat-Su valley.

Our visit began with the hostess telling us we were a little early and we would need to come back and check in at the exact time of our reservation. Then the service was exceeding slow, it took four people almost three hours to have dinner - no appetizers, not dessert. The food was mediocre while the prices were excessive. The only saving grace was a great bartender (Robin) and good drinks.

Went there for our 24th anniversary, after ordering drinks and hors d'oeuvre we ordered filet mignon and ribeye about 10 minutes later the waitress came back to tell us they did not have those steaks available and would we like to order something else. We tried to get the porterhouse steaks in place of the steaks that we ordered and they would not let us do that. We ordered something else and she came back and said they would compensate with porterhouse steaks. we said okay, 5 minutes later she came back to say they only had one porterhouse steak left. Out of the six steaks that they serve only two were available when we left. We went to the Grape Tap and had a wonderful dinner.
