For Large Groups of 13-20 people, we offer a prix fixe dinner for $125 per person, organized for you by our team. We require a 50% deposit to hold your reservation. For parties of 17 or more we offer a Private Dining experience uniquely designed by our team, ranging from a private portion of the restaurant up to a full buy-out. We request a minimum of one week to organize your Large Group event, and three weeks for Private Dining. All events are subject to availability. For both Large Groups and Private Dining we require the menu to be selected ahead of time so our kitchen can adequately prepare to give your group the best dining experience possible. Had a wonderful time at Ettan in Palo Alto with my family! The ambiance was elegant yet relaxed — perfect for a special night out. Ettan always has delicious food and the ambiance is rarefied. It is a lovely place to go for a special occasion or just a lovely everyday kind of dinner with family. Everyone in my family loves it, including the kids.

I took my team for lunch to Ettan. There were barely any people at the restaurant yet the service was very slow. I was not happy with the food either. The main dish came first and after losing my patience waiting for the accompanying rice to come, I had to go in and tell them we are waiting for the rice. By the time the rice came, the main dish was already cold. No one came to ask if we needed anything else after lunch. I had to approach someone to get us the dessert menu. For the kind of money we spend at a restaurant like Ettan, the experience was not up to par.

Service is very slow. In addition, Our server was nice but had to be reminded of certain items. such as drinks, three times before they were finally brought to the table (we asked the bus person as well, 2x, and he never brought it). We asked for dishes to be made without a certain garnish that one diner doesn't like and they forgot and had to be re-made. Dishes were just ok. Honestly while the outdoor patio is cute, the food at Zareen's is much better (and not as expensive). I wouldn't mind the cost if the service and food were stellar, but they aren't.

Picked the place for my 25th wedding anniversary. Thinking it will be a great experience. Outside ambience was nothing impressive. No music outside. Staff did not care if we were not comfortable with the heater blowing into our faces. Got the octopus leg (one skinny piece ), braised short ribs , lamp chops, butter chicken , kale saag. Food was not at all impressive or special.
