   Et Voila is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in San Diego. The owner and servers are super friendly and helpful. The food is authentically French and wonderful. The dishes are thoughtfully composed, attractively presented, and utterly delicious. They have a great wine list despite the tariffs and the difficulties of importing wine from France. I always feel cozy, comfortable, and relaxed here which is how the owner and servers want their customers to feel. Yes it's expensive but the food and wine are such a cut above other restaurants in SD so it's worth it. My one and only negative is that they keep the lighting very dim. I don't see particularly well even with a flashlight. I had to bring the menu outdoors to read it. LOL. All things considered the dim lighting is hugely outweighed by all the positives.

   It was our first time to dine here. We were dining with 2 other friends who had never been to Et Viola either. We were pleasantly surprised to see a Tuesday night offering that included: appetizer, main course, dessert, wine. Lovely warm French baguette and butter were also served for an outstanding price of $55 per person. Beautiful presentation and ample portions of everything. Nice ambiance. We look forward to returning.

   We had the most amazing evening with Et Voilà starting before we even arrived. We had trouble finding parking so we called the restaurant to let them know we would be a few minutes late. They were able to notify us of a parking space that opened up out front of the restaurant. From the moment we entered, the service was incredible. Salim ensured we got the best of the menu, which we definitely did. Between the duck breast, lamb shank, french onion soup, and mussels… I can’t pick a favorite. We will definitely be returning as this dining experience was top notch. Thank you to the wonderful Et Voilà! Team!

   This is the second time we have visited Et Voila and it was outstanding AGAIN! The food was amazing and delicious, the service terrible and I highly recommend the souffle! I highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

   Me and my hubby had an amazing experience. The atmosphere is great, the food was just Masterchef style and the whole staff couldn't be more friendly and perfect! We just went to France in just a few minutes from home. Every bite brought us joy and happiness, I definitely recommend the scallops and the Tartare.

    Every dish was a flavor experience! Our family of 4, including a 15 year old and a 19 year old arrived to celebrate a birthday. Our service was perfection and the team appeared genuinely happy and confident that they are working someplace special. Even when i knocked a glass off the table, they handled it with grace and humor. Anyhow, back to the food. Absolutely incredible. We all ordered differently, but in the end we all just wanted to share our meals to prove ours was the best choice, only to find out that all 4 entrees were a delight. I almost hate to tell the city about this gem, but that wouldn’t be fair to the chef or the city. Absolument manifique! Bien joue!
