Our restaurant week meal was amazing, every course! We will be back again!
We love this place. We live in North County, and come for special occasions only. Every time we eat here we are amazed how good the food is. We are yet to try a dish we didn’t like. Vine list and cocktails are very good as well. Today we brought our friends, who live in Normandy. They loved the food and ambiance as well. They felt it was equal to best restaurants at home in France.

Second time for dinner and we really like this place - they do a great job overall. The food is quite good, it's cozy and not horribly noisy (imagine that). The service is personable and efficient. We'll be back!
Second time at this restaurant. First time was good, but disappointing this time. My main dish was cold and the source was drying up on the plate. Apparently it was at the kitchen for a long time. The source was heavy for the people who does not drink. I wish they can adjust.

Fantastic service and good quality ingredients make for a pleasant dining experience. The wine flight portions were very generous. Perfect size portions so you don’t feel heavy and exhausted after eating.
Very "French" though the only French employee we ran into was the host. Nevertheless it was right out of Paris. Food was wonderful (the Frites were the best I've had this side of the Atlantic). After a full day on my tourist feet the full bar was also welcome.
We love all dishes here except they tend to be overpriced.
In town for a conference and read good things about this restaurant. We were not disappointed. We ate truly first-rate French bistro-inspired dishes in a much more comfortable and convivial atmosphere than the typical French bistro. The dishes were traditional but with a few twists: fresh, local vegetables substituted in, some unusual ingredients or flavors---all welcome and delicious. The salad d'automne was spectacular. Had a lovely Gigondas to wash everything down. Would frequent this place if I lived in San Diego.

There is no wrong or bad with this place. I go there very often and people and food are always great! No matter what you order, it is going to be exquisite. The chef always comes with new options on the menu and they get better and better. I am not a sweet tooth person but the souffle it is just outstanding, you have to try it no matter what. Everyone is super friendly, professional and capable, they are part of what makes your dinner experience one of the best.

This was our first time eating here. I heard that they get outstanding reviews and I have to concur.
So fun to have an authentic French-style bistro in North Park.
So pleased with the rectangular interior with benches along one wall and the bistro tables.
I ordered a french onion soup and a salad as a main dish. The broth was a little thin with a bit of an acidic taste; not a deep rich broth I've had elsewhere, but I liked it.
The big hit at our table was the truffle ravioli in the appetizer sectsion. Profoundly good as an entree for $13.

Christmas Eve at Et Voila. Wonderful from appetizers to dessert. The wine selection by the glass was what I hope for - even French Sancerre! Mushroom ravioli as good as ever. Onion soup needed more cheese though. Meat very beautifully prepared. Special risotto was terrific but portion too small. Lucious caramel tart and chocolate fondant. Bill was pretty high but worth it for the quality.

Enjoyed the “game menu” selections on Christmas Eve. My husband had the wild boar and I had the pheasant. Both dishes very good and we finished with the Grand Marnier soufflé. Delicious!

simply our favorite French restaurant in all of San Diego.
Our server Missy was outstanding!! All food and drink was perfect. The French bread was crisp in the outside and warm & soft inside. We added fresh black truffles to the white asparagus and the flavor was unreal. You must try the jumbo prawns!! The finale was a decadent chocolate mousse.
Everything was top notch. Food, service, & prices. Bravo !!!

We had a lovely meal. Everything was delicious, the server was friendly, the cocktails were incredible. We had the charcuterie platter, and the server swooped in to warn me that one portion contained nuts, which was very sweet of her. I absolutely adored the pickles, just amazing. I had the risotto cake, my son had the coq au vin, and my fiancé had the flat iron steak. Highly recommend the risotto.
The only not-perfect thing was that the creme brûlée didn’t have that traditional crunchy sugar crust on it. Was still edible, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

We dined on a quiet Monday evening. There weren’t many tables filled. Missy provided exceptional service for our family. She went above and beyond. The interior is beautiful, the food was delicious and the service awesome.

Amazing service and amazing food... love the atmosphere.
First visit to this restaurant - it was for a Thanksgiving dinner. There were 3 choices for each course and all three courses were very good. Food Server was knowledgeable about the wine menu, and we were more than satisfied. We intend to return when it isn't a holiday. Service was quite good.
