Strangely it seems the restaurant had an off night. We have been at this restaurant many times before, but tonite although the manager was able to give us a table instead of a high top, the service was lacking. Two of the biggest issues: We waited at least 45 minutes for our entrees, as other parties who were seated later than us, received theirs. Secondly our initial credit card was denied, which we found out from the cc company the next day, was due to the PIN code being entered wrong. Sadly we were celebrating my daughter’s wedding engagement.

Usually, the soft shell crab Benedict is my favorite thing on the menu. It was so disappointing to have a hard boiled egg when it's supposed to be a poached egg. The service was great. Server agreed and came back with a poached egg but should have offered more sauce. The hash browns were undercooked. I was very sad!

Always look forward to dining at Et.al. on this occasion, really celebrating nothing except friendship. Still, our server Ryan made us all feel special and valued as customers. Loved all the suggestions thst Ryan made. We ended up getting most of them. Can't wait to "attempt to recreate that burrito appetizer. Loved the truffle sherry dressing on vegetable salad. And that gnocchi knocked the ball right out of the park! We enjoyed our time so much that am sure we overstayed our visit. Still, never felt rushed. Thank you Et.al and Ryan for such a memorable afternoon! Looking forward to returning..!

My overall experience was nice, but I did have an issue with the temperature of my entree multiple times. The manager and staff handled it to the best of their ability, but it didn’t go as planned. I’m appreciative of the ambience and staff, but it definitely could’ve been better.

We had the chowder, arancini, mushroom risotto, and the kids had the sliders and pasta. Everything was excellent except the lobster roll for $50 it was tough, there wasn’t very much lobster and had way too much mayonnaise. I’d say order anything except the lobster roll and you’ll be very happy!

The hostess was good. Nice welcoming greeting. The waiter was very good ~ very attentive. I ordered the tagliatelle. The pasta was cooked nicely as well asparagus. However overall the rest of the dish was just ok. I should have asked for olive oil on the side to drizzle over dish to create more flavor.
