   First time back in a while, food presentation and tastes are still wonderful though it took some time for food to be served. Server was attentive so kitchen must have been busy. Recommend soft crab eggs benedict, loco moco with braised short ribs and bread pudding; chop salad was so-so. Will definitely return.

   I always enjoy the food and have a great experience here. The menu changes just enough to keep you coming back for brunch. The only tiny complaint was the poached egg was over-cooked but everything else was perfect. Jordan was on point and the manager was nice, never got his name.

   The service was rushed. We were not done with our appetizers before they delivered our entrees. It was clear they wanted to turn the table. The food was mediocre. The pasta was over cooked. I won’t be going back again or recommending this restaurant to our friends.

    Casual but not sloppy dining, unusual menu, but limited. Nice presentation (chopped salad) and good spin on an otherwise ordinary dish. Service is polite and attentive. Not a bargain, but not a rip-off. Better-than-franchise meal for before a movie at Kahala Mall.

    Heard good things so decided to take two elderly moms to Mother's Day breakfast at 8:45 on Mother's day. Both used walkers so it was nice to be seated where the walkers would not be in the way. Four of us were seated promptly, but it took a few minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. They seemed overwhelmed with take out as bags piled up near the register and a large (10) party on the high-top. Our food took a long time to come out. 3 coffees arrived with shared creamer and sugar requested by the Moms, with one teaspoon. Ordered arancini as an appetizer which normally come 3/$17. Added another for $5 no problem. Good taste! 2 ordered short rib loco moco. Good taste, soft short ribs, probably could use more gravy. 1 lobster roll. Ok. Smallish with ok fries. 1 Garlic Chicken and Mochi waffles. Waffles were soggy, chicken was tasty. Soy maple sauce was too savory. Sesame butter was sufficient. Rush of Mother's Day is always an excuse, but really, if you know you will be slammed, staff up appropriately or accept your limits with the kitchen to upkeep your food quality. Oh yeah, $14 for a bloody mary in a 12 oz. glass. Don't care what kind of vodka you use, that's steep IMO.

    My citrus brined pork chop was perfect in taste and texture. It was moist and the purée over it with the pour over sauce made it excellent. Brussels sprouts and shallots complimented it well. Suggested wine pairings were good matches. Loved the Big Island beef bone marrow and beets. Cappuccino was also perfect at the end. Service was excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable.     I live in the neighborhood so I visit Et Al fairly often and I love the atmosphere. (The design of the restaurant is exceptional.) The food is mostly consistent although on this last visit I had a pasta dish and the pasta was overcooked, but the flavor was great and otherwise our meal was very good.

    Even though I made a reservation we needed to sit at high table area which was uncomfortable to sit. I asked waitress that we want to sit regular table area but she said there is a big party using the table so couldn’t move. But I didn’t see big party using tables.

    I had the Omelette it was good but I would have liked the mushrooms to have been sliced they were small but served whole. My friend and I spit the Chocolate Macadamia dessert and it was really good. We splurged and got the ice cream on top. The omelette was $17. most of the items were closer to $20.- $25.     A great neighborhood spot located somewhat bizarrely in a grocery store. Most of the dishes were quite good, while 1 missed - however, that was easily overlooked as it is so nice to see the ambition of chefs in local restaurants.

    My friend, her 2 kids and I had a good time there. I ordered the et al burger with truffle fries. They were delicious. My friend had the chicken salad and her kids had the children's egg and sausage meals. Our waiter was attentive and nice. The restaurant was about 75% full at 11am.

    The manager on duty at 10:30 am on Saturday April 22 was constantly working, helping the busy servers, bussing tables, and even catching a fly that had wandered in from the side door and he covered the glass and toon it outside to release. Amazing! He also checked in with all of the tables to make sure we were enjoying our meal and service. Hostess was great with welcoming us and checking back to clear dirty dishes. Server Justin was great with his description of plates, offering suggestions, and very friendly. He also brought over something special for a birthday dessert which was much appreciated. I love this place and keep returning not only for the excellent food but also the service and caring attitude of workers.

    I and a small group of friends meet once a month for breakfast/brunch at et al. The wait help is polite and accommodating. The atmosphere is quiet, and the location is convenient for us. Food is good. If I had a criticism, it would be to balance the "Brunch" menu by adding a few more purely breakfast dishes, as they had quite a while back. A very good spot for a quiet meal/meeting with friends.

    Went for Sunday brunch. One of the few places outside of Waikiki that opens early. Recommend the breakfast bowl; the pork belly was delicious and the kale totally offsets the fat.
