This place was great. We had dinner here for my birthday and the food was amazing. The overall vibe was perfect. A hidden gem. Will definitely visit every time we are in New Orleans!

This was a wind small intimate restaurant. The service was excellent!!! If you’re looking for a more personal touch this is the place! They also referred us to a wonderful, jazz club, called mahogany, three doors down .

The server got our orders wrong three times and missed one which we had to cancel. Having said that, people were very nice.

Ordered boudin ball app, all of ours came out hot with the center frozen. Ordered a dirty martini and was served a lime green drink that tasted like artificial pickle juice, served in a whisky glass . All of our entrees were mediocre. I personally ordered the Taste of New Orleans and it was bland and disgusting, couldn’t finish it. On top of that we had told our waiter that we where there for a birthday. During our dinner the restaurant broke into song in two separate occasions and each time it was for ANOTHER table’s birthday. Our waiter never did that for our table. Not to mention it took over 20 minutes after getting sat to get attended too. Online the pictures are stunning but in person it is just a bar with a couple of tables by it. Because of the pictures we had seen we had thought it was upscale and we would need to dress up, wrong. You could go dressed however you’d please. Overall don’t go if looking for a nice spot with good food.

Overall a decent dining experience. Food was good not great, service was very good and drinks were average. Steaks are a little high $ for the quality, think Outback.

Estrella's is a hidden gem. Don't let the facade fool you! The food was outstanding and the owner Amir and Dana our waitress was superb! We felt like family.The filet mignon was like butter! I can't rave enough about this diamond in the rough!!
