The food here is excellent! The service here is excellent!
We were very shocked about how close the tables were indoors considering it was a new indoor mask restrictions. We were 2 people and they sat us in between 2 tables of 10 very close. We asked to be moved and they did so.
The second thing that bothered us was that it’s an upscale restaurant and there were a lot of kids under 10, not properly dressed. Why have a dress code if you don’t enforce it. We were there for our anniversary but I noticed a lot of people with sneakers, LV Fluppy slides, Death Leopard T-Shirts on and shorts. Why would I want to pay for business casual and everyone looks like they walked out they house to the corner restaurant.
Stick to your dress code or else I’m coming with ripped jeans and a tank top. Especially for for those prices.
Food is always spot-on, freshest fish in the city I swear. Food is simple, yet extremely flavorful, using the best of ingredients.
Always a wonderful place to enjoy a fantastic meal. The food is simplistic, fresh and flavorful. Hard to visit NYC without stopping by for lunch.
The food was fine, $400 for some ok fish and oysters. The service was unbelievably slow, we were there for three hours just waiting.
One of the best places for fish in NYC. We ate outside, it was beauty out. It's very pricy but for a special iccasy, it's pretty perfect
Restaurant Week adveny
Went during Restaurant week , so menu was limited bur enjoyed the experience -started with the Greek Salad, entrée Atlantic Char both fresh and tasty' mu daughter had the calamar (small portion) with unimpressive sauce and the catch of the day (grouper) which she enjoyed and the inclusive dessert- the honey lavender ice cream was a pleasant and memorable touch _service was attentive despite the reduce fare offered by the special promotion - worth a return visit
THE BEST in every way . My favorite !!!
Excellent restaurant with the freshest seafood. Probably one of the top Mediterranean restaurants in the city.
The food was superb!
restaurant week special lunch menu was very nice and good value for $39. plenty of options for each course. would have preferred a chocolate option for the dessert, but other than that it was very nice
Fabulous food and service. Very noisy inside so they gave us a nice table outside. Grilled octopus and mushroom plate exceptional.
WARNING!!!! Manager rude after incident with nut allergy.
This is their description of their Big Eye Tuna: Sashimi quality, served blue or rare, with swiss chard and beets
We ordered this for our table to share and instead we got the tuna with a side dish of almond paste which looked like hummus!!! My father and brother are deathly allergic to nuts and one ended up in the hospital by ambulance and almost died outside the restaurant in the street. Instead of apologizing and trying to help or assisting, the manager said it was our fault and just kept trying to cover their bases instead of being decent human beings and caring for their customers. We accept our part of the blame but that is the worst response ever from someone in an extreme life or death emergency!!! If you have allergies be triple aware or better yet just skip this rude uncaring place!!!!
Simply an outstanding place. the food was impeccable as was the service atthe table. presentation of food is simple and perfection.
we arrived on time for our reservation bbut had to wait at teh bar as we said we wanted to sit outside. The bartender selected two exccellent wines fo rour tasting.
Twenty minute slater we were shown to our our table indoors , not what we asked for , and the hostess dropped th emenus and continued to walk awat before we could say a word.
Nevertheless the restaraunt has always been a favorite of mine and will continue to be so .
I have had better service and food from Milos before. Maybe an off night
very good value for the restaurant week menu, excellent fish!
Disappointing experience as the fish entree was not as fresh as to be expected from a restaurant with the reputation of Milos
Visiting NYC from Miami where, before the pandemic, I was a regular at the Miami Beach location. The food was excellent, as expected, service was poor because the staff is over worked. It took 20 min to get a bottle of wine, we were outside and had one checkin from the waiter on the whole meal - she was clearly working inside and we were not in her scan. No one was in a rush so I'm not complaining and people were very nice but for a $650 dinner for 2, i'm expecting better than just ok service. The prices, as most everywhere else I went to while in NYC, are totally silly. I have sympathy for the difficult situation that they are in but the price to value ratio is so out of whack that I sincerely doubt that I will be back.
One of our favorite spots in NYC! Every time we attend, we never get disappointed!
This restaurant is around the block from my home, it is always very busy and looks wonderful whenever I have passed by. I had a friend from out of town visiting and we went for wine and light fair. Everything was simply outstanding, the service is really quite exemplary with everything attended to before u inquire for it. The food is presented beautifully and impeccably prepared a feast not only for the eyes but for the palate as well. The items while not moderately priced represent their own value because of the quality ingredients, wonderfully simple seasonings and flavors, and picture perfect presentations.
We all very much enjoyed our experience and look for to a future visit. Its a splurge that you will feel was worth it.
The waiter is very rude, did not come over to ask how was food.
Kept on pushing the wine, and grab the check immediately not even wait till we walked up and away.
Very good atmosphere, thanks for wonderful dinner
One of NYC’s finest restaurants. First class in every way
Delicious food and outstanding service. The outdoor dining set-up was terrific.
Very accommodating , very professional, very comfortable.
Love this restaurant! Gorgeous, great service and food! Excellent as always!
Just ridiculously over priced. $35 for a plate of cut peppers? Forget it
We have been before and enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, this time not impressed and would be hard pressed to go back. Fish was over priced. Our clothing smelled from the cooking fumes.
Was excellent NYC Resturant menu and well served and priced. Enjoyed it - although place was full - thanks to Open Table confirming our reservation.
Great! Food and service - excellent! Tom
A most pleasant surprise after so-so earlier menus. Restaurant Week Menu offered a number of treats. Every dish for a party of four was exceptional. Sterling ingredients, flawlessly executed and beautifully plated. Hard to single out one for special praise. Not only because food was so good, portions skimpy. Most serious knock, which won't prevent return was their ignoring a request for info on a wine we especially enjoyed. Been 4 days and I've lost hope for a reply. Considering the dross Restaurant Week has become, in most all cases, a place to treasure.
The food took a very, very, very long time and the service was a little slow. However they were completely packed and I totally get that we’re all trying to find out way through this weird post-Covid world.
Delicious as always - branzino in sea salt. Waiter forgot the olives in the greek salad but kindly brought us some. Service was a bit slow, but friendly. Good wines by the glass. It was fun to see the restaurant crowded with parties again.
As always amazing. Been coming here since 2006. The best Greek restaurant in NY.
Food is fantastic, straightforward, freshest seafood, highest quality they can get.
Seated outside in their well appointed covered area. Very private. Inside is beautiful but loud and crowded. Food is amazing. Same top quality of their Hudson Yards restaurant. Upon departure their branded van arrived and was being offloaded with fresh fish from Greece just flown in and picked up at JFK airport. Hence the secret to quality!
The second server was excellent, but the main server he didnt even bother to come to the table after taking the order, he didn’t deserve the tip, the tip should go to his assistant . Mexican who gave us the best attention even the check.
One of the best Restaurant Week deals in New York!
We had a wonderful evening, food was delicious. The staff was nice and gave us really good recommendations on the menu and wine pairings
