Named after a Greek goddess, Estia is an authentic Greek restaurant serving traditional favorites in a friendly and low-key setting. Whether you stop by for lunch, to sip a cocktail and enjoy a few appetizers or to savor a full-course meal, Estia has delicious offerings available.
The main menu reads like a dream and includes such classics as the avgolemono soup, the traditional horiatiki salad and the fabulous cold plates that include everything from roasted eggplant and tzatziki to pan-fried cheese. Choose a sandwich or a main course with fish or meat, or opt for the more traditional mousaka. No matter what you choose at Estia, it is sure to delight.
I can't say enough about this restaurant. The food is delicious. The fish is very fresh, the portions are perfect size and each and every dish is just done to perfection!
I've been 4 times now, and it never disappoints. The owners couldn't be nicer and them always aim to please!
The octopus appetizer was fantastic. The main course of salmon in pesto sauce was also great! Service could not have been better. Will definitely go back again.
This restaurant need s more customers.
This little restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is very fresh and delicious, especially if you like homestyle good food. The menu is varied with many traditional Greek favorites all very well prepared. We took our guests there for dinner.Although they live in the area they have never been to Estia and they were thrilled to have been introduced to it. We had the fish , fresh and delicious. and the lamb chops, only the bones were left on the plate. Baklava for desert. What could be better ? ! We will definitely return .
Our waiter (wish I got his name) really made the meal. He was terrific -- big smile, knowledgeable, helpful. He put everyone in a good mood. As for the food, it was good. My husband and my souvlaki dishes (chicken and pork) were a bit overcooked (and didn't have a lot of flavor) but the appetizers we ordered and our friends' fish and lamb dishes were all good. And the pita bread is delicious. Will definitely go back.
Service was wonderful. Quite professional and friendly. The salad was prepared well. The only complaint my wife and I had was that the Bronzino was filleted very poorly. Tons of bones. Also the fillet was really small. Vegetables and potatoes were tasty.
Not knowing what to expect, but thought the menu was interesting we gave Estia a try because we had a meeting in the area that evening. I'm so glad we did ! The menu had many, many interesting and delicious sounding choices . Three people in our party. Among us we had fish, lamb chops and a veal shank. Everyone was very pleased. I only wished we had more time to experience some of the numerous appetizers and salads but I will definitely return.
Not sure why it's not busier??
I've seen my fair share of "Greek" restaurants pretending to have Greek food but in the end it was no good. Estia is no pretender. As a Greek I can attest to the food's authenticity because it tasted like my moms's cooking which I love and miss.
The restaurant was empty, we were a group of 8. The service was excellent and food was terrific! I loved EVERything!!!!
The good was quite good so I could not figure out why there was no one else in the restaurant eating the whole night.
Our waiter was extremely attentive as well.
This a great place with excellent service and an extensive menu. The food is fantastic and I look forward to going back. Good Greek wine also! And of course amazing desserts.
Some of the best food in SONO
I can't say enough good things about this place. The food is PHENOMENAL! Octopus, stuffed grape leaves, tyrokafteri and zucchini chips are all amazing, and brought to us by a server who really took pride in the place. Really quiet on a Wednesday night, but only made the dinner more enjoyable for us!
Our waitress was as sweet as pie and tried very hard. Service though was very slow.
