Essence is a casual restaurant that serves French cuisine using seasonal ingredients. Chef Shiro Naito opened the restaurant in 2010 to provide dishes that celebrate the essence of each season. Essence is conveniently located next to Inokashira Park and Ghibli Museum. Its spacious dining area provides tables for guests and a private room for special occasions. The menu at Essence offers themed seasonal courses. The restaurant uses organic, pesticide-free vegetables from Yoko Farms, has its fish and shellfish delivered directly from Hakodate and uses chemical-free fertilizer from Tokorozawa to grow some of its own ingredients.

いつも楽しみに伺っています。季節によって少しずつ変わるメニューが楽しみです。今回は主人のお誕生日のディナーに伺いましたが、素敵なメッセージプレートまで、デザートに書いて下さり、わぁ～！！と喜んでいました。あまり外出はしない私にとって、いつも、とっても楽しみでゆっくり過ごせて嬉しい外出＆イベントです。また伺います。

一番初めに出てくるアミューズから楽しみで伺っています。どのお料理も美味しくてきれいで、感動しながら頂いています。季節ごとに少し変わるデザートもとても楽しみです。また、是非、伺いたいです。

お誕生日で伺いました。ヤーコンとスズキのカルパッチョがあっさりしていて好きでした。続いてのお魚料理もソースがとても合っていて素晴らしかったです。いつも楽しいお料理をどうもありがとうございます。

お料理は、どれも考え抜かれた創作料理で、他では味わえない美しさと美味しさでした。素材の良さが伝わってきました。器や、お料理のタイミングも配慮されていました。大人の記念日にふさわしい場所と雰囲気でした。ありがとうございました。

何回かお邪魔しています。いつも、とても美味しいお食事を、落ち着いて楽しむことができます。勿論、全体の内容も美味しくて満足ですが、特に、デザートと一番最初に出てくるお料理がいつもとても楽しみです。

数ヶ月に1度通うお店のひとつです。品数とお味が絶品であり、いつも違うメニューなので今日はどんなラインナップなのかなぁと食べに行きたくなります。シェフ兼オーナーさんがご自身で釣り上げたお魚もたまに出てきます。健康的なお野菜、絶妙な塩加減、デザートにプラスアルファで出されるお菓子をいつも楽しみにしています。
