Nakano / Ogikubo / Honancho Restaurants

Spectacular experience from beginning to end the service was impeccable. Our server even walked us out to the car. Never experienced anything quite like it.

Even though I am a foreigner, I am satisfied enough to visit three times within two months. The exterior of the restaurant is reminiscent of the atmosphere of Kyoto, and the dark interior lighting is fantastic and increases the concentration on all dishes. In particular, the young owner chef's collection of precious ingredients, the desire for perfect serve, and the complete dish are impressive, and I can feel the dignity from the kind and smooth service of the female staff who is fluent in English. It is still the number one for me, who has experienced numerous sushi restaurants in Tokyo and Korea.

Very pleasant Japanese cuisine. The chef dedicates himself with heart and creativity. The wine list could be more extensive.

Only 14 seats, but if you're fortunate enough to get a reservation, I can't recommend it enough. I actually think the 530 seating is the way to go, so it's not too dark when you get out. The meal lasts around 2 1/2 hours. Service is amazing, food quality is outstanding and the staff does a great job of explaining the ingredients and their significance. You're doing yourself a disservice if you're in Tokyo and don't have a meal here.

I was a single and didn’t realize that the menu is designed for couples. After a few moments the staff figured out a game plan to accommodate e and they were most generous. Good was amazing and all reviews about the atmosphere were spot on. I highly recommend!
