Esin Restaurant and Bar Ratings and Reviews
Esin is one of our go-to restaurants. It’s always consistent, the food is delicious and the staff warm and friendly. We usually go for lunch , and as a rule , get the salmon salad special of the day. Salad changes from day today, but the salmon is always perfectly cooked. It would normally come medium rare and there’s a lot of people who would not like that so you can request it medium or however you would like it. Great cocktails too!
The food was OK. However, the service was mediocre and not up to the standard of a $$$ place. Also, I think they overbook by a wide margin (we had to wait more than 15 minutes even though we arrived at the restaurant right on schedule). The usher at the front desk was rather rude too. When asked about wait time, she replied some like "The table will be ready when it is ready" rather dismissively.
I ordered the pasta special that was supposed to be with pappardelle. It came with spaghetti noodles. No one said anything. When I asked, I was told that they must have run out of pappardelle. My feeling is that I should have been told before I was served this spaghetti dish. My friend ordered the salmon special. Salmon was supposed to be medium rare and it was well done. It came with a salad that consisted of 3 lettuce leaves. Very disappointed in the food and service.
This was a first time visit. Friends had suggested this restaurant as excellent for any occasion. The menu was extensive, including a nice selection of starters, salads, entree, and deserts. The service was very good, The wine selection was very good. We will go back.
Were glad we came back here after a year or so hiatus! The food we had was terrific. The dining room seemed a bit understaffed (other than busmen!). Perhaps some training of the wait staff would improve the flow of service?
Get in here if you haven't eaten here recently!!
Food was amazing but there was a mishap with the printer apparently so we didn’t get our food forever it seemed since the kitchen never got our order. The staff was apologetic and comp’d our app and dessert. It was a bummer though since it was my husbands bday.
Esin never fails us! We have been there about three times in the last six months and we have never been disappointed. The people who work there are always very pleasant, from the host/hostess to the waitperson to the bus person...everyone seems genuinely happy to be there. I see this as a sign that the management is doing something which makes employees feel worthy and valuable. The food has always been exceptional; very well-presented and prepared to perfection. The prices here are VERY reasonable for the quality of ingredients used. Esin is always our go-to restaurant when we are looking for an enjoyable meal out.
Neither of us had eaten a meal here although I’d had NN essert many years ago. The chef and the wait staff did not disappoint! I had the salmon special over couscous I believe & . The flavors were beautifully blended.
The coffee was good and plentiful.
It’s not the quietist place, nor the loudest.
Excellent food as usual: the pot roast is even better now with leaner cut & the grilled salmon from Scotland over lemon risotto with chopped veggies was tasty and cooked just right! Attentive & prompt service by friendly waiter - surprisingly the food came out rather quickly. Bread was offered but was cold and enough for two bites each although more bread was offered if you desire. The entire dining experience would be enhanced if the bread was warmed up and twice as much in quantity.
