Food was excellent, service was excellent, sat at bar, food service time exactly where it should be, really pleasant meal.
Loved the small plates! Chose restaurant week selections, very good! Gazpacho, dry rub wings, garlic shrimp. Also tried the chicken spring rolls.and the beef tallow fries! Sampled the romanesco and mushrooms! All delicious! Ah, and their jalapeño cheese roll! Will be returning!
Excellent evening with superb service from Tara. The prix fixe menu for Restaurant Week was diverse, interesting and luscious throughout. Highly recommend.
We really like the atmosphere at Eppings. Food was good as always - definitely like the new/updated menu (from when they first opened).
We booked a reservation for the restaurant week special but ended up ordering something else! Cioppino was the seafood special and I could resist trying one of my favorite dishes from one of my favorite chefs. It did not disappoint. Our server, Tara, was also exceptional.
Eppings was the last perfect dining out experience for my husband, a friend, and me just days prior to the Covid shutdown. So it was glorious, marvelous, and fabulous to return to the hospitable wonder that is Eppings with Tyler at the bar, welcoming vibes in the air, and great imaginative, flavor-laden food coming from the kitchen magicians! All is well with the world! Or, at least with diners Eastside-Eppings-way!
The restaurant week menu was delightful. Every dish was delicious. The dessert sampler was outstanding!!
We love this place! It's the perfect spot for foodies and to get the family together. We took our parents here for brunch this weekend and the vibe is perfect - relaxed and trendy, with such friendly staff! We had the fried chicken sandwich, breakfast burrito and eggs benedict, and everything was amazing. We'll be back again soon!
We ate here for the first time during Lexington's Restaurant week. Four courses for $39 was a great deal and good way to try numerous items on the menu. Every course from the yellow tomato gazpacho to the lamb meatballs was full of flavor. I particularly enjoyed the finisher, the small bite dessert. This was a sampling of 3 different desserts. I wish all restaurants would do this. It's rare that I have room for dessert and this is a way to not have to choose, but enjoy a taste of several. Well done!
Went for Lexington Restaurant Week and ordered from the pre-fix menu. All selected items were delicious. Service was excellent. Will definitely return.
Excellent in every way!
My new favorite place!!
We have an event scheduled here in the near future and wanted to try it out first, to familiarize ourselves. This place rocked! It’s everything a more casual dining experience should be. I’ve lived in Lexington my whole life and it’s a foodie town, for those that don’t know, and this place hits the top 5 on my list! Great bar menu and the theme of small plates from the dining menu gives lots of great choices. You won’t be disappointed!
Congratulations to the wait staff, chef and owners. Keep nailing it!
Always a great experience. Friendly staff, warm atmosphere, excellent food!
Went for the restaurant week menu. There were 4 of us so we had both the starters, second courses, and 2 of the entries offered. Everything was wonderful.
Really liked the regular and restaurant week menu! The shrimp themselves were quality but the only thing I would say about that was it was just a tad underwhelming in terms of flavor and the starter salad had bitter greens that were a little hard to eat. Otherwise service and staff were amazing and the restaurant itself is beautiful and I definitely will be coming back. My friend had the halibut and that was perfect.
Great evening celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. They even comped a delicious dessert in honor of our event.🥰🥰
Will make plans to go back.
Fabulous food and great ambiance. It as awfully loud, however, for a party of seven along a long table to hear each other talk. Also a bit too cold for those who didn’t bring along a sweater.
This was our first time at Eppings and I’m sure it won’t be our last. We sat at the bar and had excellent service, we tried everything from drinks, to Mains, to dessert and coffee, and everything was outstanding. Their menu is very eclectic but approachable, can’t wait to go back and try more things. The ambience was upscale casual, some people dressed a little nicer, ladies in sundresses, some guys in shorts and oxford shirts. Really nice summer meal.
Amazing, as always!!!! Excellent service and delicious made from scratch food!
Epoing’s has become our go to place for birthdays or other special events and for dining out “just because”.
The food and the service were outstanding!
Went for a happy hour:friend time. Our goal was to try somewhere we hadn’t been and take advantage of happy hour specials. The waitress was on her last day of training but truly didn’t seem even close to being able to do it on her own. She was super sweet and friendly nonetheless. Happy hour specials are not easy to access. The bar menu is not in the website or on the menu with QR code at the table and you have to ask for the menu even at happy hour. The drink specials aren’t clear in writing or when given. After so many questions due to poor access to information, a patron starts to feel cheap for asking.
The happy hour cocktail was delicious and refreshing. The chicken spring rolls were also delicious. My friend and I decided to split three small plates in order to sample several items. We had the lamb meatballs, mussels, and burnt ends. The lamb meatballs were absolutely fabulous and will be ordered again for sure in the future. The mussels were also delicious and they are a LOT of them. The burnt ends were ok but you don’t get many and the flavor was just ok.
I had really wanted the blue crab cakes as an entree but when I saw the portion for the price and it not coming with a salad or vegetable it just didn’t seem like a good value.
I expect to return to Eppings to try again!
Food was awesome … waiter was great … but it is loud and music was loud also .. hard to have a conversation ..so eat and leave !
Everything about our experience was perfect! The service was excellent, the food light and delicious. Appreciated the eclectic menu.
Great Sunday Brunch ❤️
Delicious food and very personable service. Bottomless mimosas for brunch was a great deal for our group!
Had a wonderful time and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend!!!
We love this place! First time back since COVID, though. Had reservations at the "Counter", which is the bar. They were super busy when we arrived, which is why I took a star off - it took forever to get a drink or anyone's attention. But once we got the food & drinks, they were divine. The menu and the food is unmatched. I will be back!
Great venue, good vibes, good service and good food. A few more menu options are needed, particularly regarding side dishes. The grilled pork chop was superb but 'fries' was the only side option. A green vegetable, a baked regular or sweet potato is needed to complement this dish. Not a complaint but an observation
The spicy chicken was 'spicy' and my wife loved it!
Food and service were very good. We will definitely return.
The menu has a wide variety of options. We tried several small plates and a couple of entrees. The salad with the grapefruit and golden beets was to die for. The halibut entree was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the cake platter( 3 small pieces of different cakes). Couple things we would not order again, although good just not our favorites. Will definitely return for a special occasion.
Server was very good, but kitchen was very slow. Food was good, but not great. I like the vibe and hope the kitchen can get its act together.
Very nice menu selections. Creative recipes with great flavor. Excellent venue and atmosphere. Only complaint was that our server was odd and not very helpful. We sat for almost 10 mins before someone came and talked to us or offered us anything. When we asked what could be prepared GF, he said “Pretty much everything! We are good at that”. Then we asked about 3-4 specific dishes that sounded good and the answer to each was “Not that one”. We asked for his favorite dishes and what he might recommend and he said “Everything is good”. Maybe we were being ignored because we weren’t drinking? Our water glasses sat empty for half the meal.
For a nearly $100 meal, I personally just expect more interaction, attention or professionalism from the servers.
Perhaps we had an isolated experience.
Otherwise the food and location were great!
Not what I had hoped for.
The atmosphere was impressive. The decor was cool. I hate to admit this but it had a really nice “family” bathroom, large adult sing & toilet, small child toilet & lower child sink as well as a koala brand changing table & toddler koala seat (with safety harness). I wish they had this when my kids were small! This restaurant is fairly new 2018. It’s in a cool older building with seating outside as well. Lots of wines & great drinks. Amazing bar with 3 very large TVs. There were 6 in our party, all of our drinks & meals were phenomenal!! Halibut, pork chops, steak, quinoa stuffed peppers, charcuterie board , lamb meatballs, cobbler & cheesecake! All excellent. Service was awesome (Thanks Josh)!! Will be back!
This place is great. The food and drinks are exceptional. The chef is a genius, with steaks especially…this is a go to spot for us for brunch and dinner.
I brought some out of town guests to have a great dinner, and everyone had a great time. Service was everything you could ask without being overly intrusive. The food was excellent.
Awesome place to eat and drink. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
I like the new menu - our group ordered a variety of small plates and enjoyed everything!
