Great concept. Great food. Try it! You’ll like it!!
Portions are small for the price, but the food is unique. If you're into quality over quantity, it's worth a try.
It was delicious. I didn't know what to expect when I saw the very small and eclectic menu. We were all surprised and impressed by the flavors and textural combinations. A small and quiet restaurant for conversation, too.
Fantastic menu. When looking at the menu on line I was worried that it seemed limited but those fears were unfounded. Everything was done to perfection and he flavors were complex and nuanced. I admire the chef’s vision.
Small (13 seats) but delightful restaurant . Not hurried. Presentations of food done with style. A party of 4 girls drinking a bit too much was a bit noisy at first but they left and rest of dinner was fine. The food really was from farm to table. Menu a but limited would be only negative I would make.
The food here is absolutely amazing. It is farm to table, always fresh, and always delicious.
1. Excellent food— quality ingredients. Great flavors.
2. Server really cares about the farm to table concept.
3. Good value.
We had a fantastic experience at Epek. We loved that they have fully embraced the “farm to table concept” without any hit to food quality or flavors. Every dish was beautiful and the flavors were incredible. Wonderful fresh flavors creatively and skillfully prepared into great dishes. The redesigned atmosphere was tasteful and well done. Great job.
I have already recommended Epek to everyone I know! Farm to Table fresh food for a great price. Went to celebrate 3 years with my other half, we will definitely be repeat patrons. The service was great, the food was awesome and unique. All around great dining experience.
Delicious fresh food. Only complaint- fish was over cooked but otherwise amazing food.
We dined as a group of four. The food was beautiful and had a wonderful combination of flavors. I enjoyed eating novel, but not intimidating food that was light, yet filling. Service was friendly and well paced. We stayed for a long time and felt welcome throughout.
Every mouthful was as if it were crafted by God to remind us how to be thankful! I left the Basque block with free dinner to partake in the glory that is Epek. Best decision. Steak was cooked to perfection! The small, quirky building, garden planters around it, mason jars full of spices, and spectacular service made the experience that much more special.
This place is fabulous! Three guys working together to grow the food they serve in the restaurant, and they run the whole operation by themselves. The service is friendly and efficient, the decor is understated, the tables aren’t too close together and the prices are reasonable. And the food is excellent —- the chicken entree was some of the finest I’ve had, and the chicken skin still lives in my dreams. Definitely give this place a try, you won’t regret it!
Excellent original food. Local ingredients and a great atmosphere. But it's a bit pricy for that you get. Epek is definitely worth the visit, but too expensive to go very often. But I loved the idea and hope it succeeds.
Try the vegan options. Best of Boise without a doubt.
I would come back to Boise just for them. Amazing fucken amazing.
The new concept exceeded our expectations. The culinary creativity is absolutely top-notch and the taste delivers on all fronts. Our pallets were screaming! Having experienced state and lemp under the previous owners, we were hopeful that the new regime would maintain the standard of excellence. They have! I’ve never had a carrot taste so good in my entire life. Excellent experience if you’re looking for a culinary treat.
The food was amazing. We were blown away by the expertly paired wines, the combination of flavors on the plate and the amazing service. We will definitely be using the meal service we found out about as well- bye bye blue apron
The food and wine were exceptional. The prices were very reasonable too.
Excellent service. Intimate atmosphere. Food was unique and phenomenal.
This restaurant is a gem. We were there for our anniversary and there couldn’t have been a better place to celebrate it. Small, private, with outstanding service and an absolutely amazing food beautifully plated and curated from the farm owned by the chef himself. If you want fresh seasonal food, it doesn’t get any more fresh and seasonal than that. We loved it!
