Just a few blocks from the waterfront, our restaurant in Santa Barbara operates in a century-old brick building originally home to an industrial linen service for seaside hotels. While the Douglas fir floors, soaring ceilings, and glassed cupola have always been features of this historic structure, the sweeping arches facing State Street were added after much of the building crumbled during the 1925 Santa Barbara earthquake.

Built in 1917, the historic building now home to our Santa Monica restaurant was once a transfer station for the narrow-gauge Red Car line, Los Angeles' first mass transit system. It was later the repair house for the world-famous Pacific Ocean Park, home to the oldest wooden roller coaster west of the Mississippi. These days, we're still a stone's throw from Venice Beach, heart of where L.A. goes to play -- and eat.

We have been coming to Enterprise Fish since 1998 every year.

This year I felt that the standard of the service is not as high as it use to be.

Food remains excellent.

Ambiance needs revisiting and upgrading.

They did some remodeling since our last visit. Looks great. More open. Because of that they took off a couple of items that we usually order. Halibut and sea bass. But there’s still plenty to choose from and it was delicious as always.

Food except for Lobster Puff Pastry was disappointing. They did not know how to handle our Open Table credit which was supposed to apply to the bill and that was awkward.

Amazing price for tue special 2lb Lobster tail it was delicious my sister and I split it we had a grilled artichoke and we had a Caesar salad one of the best meals they only charge $37, that’s not counting the alcohol 🍷

Food and service was excellent. Great seafood at reasonable prices. As the decore has open-beam ceilings and hard surfaces the noise level is quite high.

MISS THE AQUARIUM. ALSO FOOD PORTIONS SEEMED SMALLER. THE FACT THAT YOU ARE NOW ALLOWED ONLY ONE COMPLIMENTARY BREAD BASKET AND MUST PAY FOR ANY ADDITIONAL BREAD BASKET SEEMS PETTY (ALTHOUGH I USUALLY NEVER REQUEST ADDITIONAL BREAD).

Very relaxed atmosphere. Service was excellent. I had the Macadamia encrusted MahiMahi which was amazing. Veggies were cooked perfectly. Have the brussel sprouts appetizer. Delicious!

It took 30 mins to get water and our order taken. Once we ate and we’re finished and asked for our check it took another 30 minutes to get our check.

Everything was great! Men enjoyed their 2 lb lobster specialist with 2 sides; ladies enjoyed a crab Louis shrimp combo salad. Highly recommend this restaurant

We were excited to come across this fun urban restaurant on our recent stay to Santa Barbara. It’s a little tricky to get to if you’re driving but worth the effort. The vibe is fun and the food diverse and unique. We were glad we made reservations as there was a wait out the door when we arrived. The top shelf margarita was so yummy, I wish I could have had a third! We ordered the artichoke, Brussels sprouts, chicken with vegetables, sirloin with broccoli and deluxe burger and fries. No one was disappointed. The Brussels sprout had a wonderful flavor and we wished the size were bigger so that we could have had more. The burger was so delicious. There were many other menu items that we wished we could have ordered, as well but our stomach’s were too small. The wait staff is attentive at first but a little scarce as our visit went on. If you are in a hurry you will have to stay on top of them and seek them out. We would visit again.

First time there. There are so many seafood options in SB, but this will always be our "go to" as long as they run the Groupon and have reasonable happy hour. Loved it.

Had to wait to be seated, although others coming in after us were seated. Wait staff was very distracted and got our order wrong several times. Watched our waitress "hanging" out with other staff in the bar talking while she was still waiting on us. Didn't receive all of the items we ordered, but they were on our bill, which had to be removed

I was very disappointed. I have been to this restaurants several times. The dining room format changed. We were in the back behind the cooking vents. The fumes and smoke was so bad, and my clothes stank when I got home. The menu has changed and it is no longer as good as it used to be. And they also now charge for a 2nd basket of bread. I was very disappointed and will not return. And, I am local.

Our server was especially good! She gave us time and knew when to leave us alone and when to come back to us.

We dine out quite often and out experience at Enterprise was disappointing. The restaurant was noisy, our waiter was abrupt and seemed overwhelmed by the challenge of managing his assigned tables. Food was the best part of the evening and that was average. Someone needs to manage this restaurant better. Very unlikely we would be back or would recommend this spot.

The food is very good, ditto the service - but the noise level is horrendous. I would never go there if I wanted to converse with someone while dining, but even if one is dining solo it becomes extremely unpleasant.

We have been many times and have always been impressed. We've recommended Enterprise numerous times and know people have been there on our recommendation.
The restaurant has changed in looks on the inside. The people working there are delightful and very mindful of the people they serve. The food is delicious, though I have noticed the portion size has gotten smaller. The quality of everything is superb and we look forward to our next visit with you!

Seems like the Santa Barbara restaurant has changed for the worse. Food not as good. Had to remind waitress to bring my chowder. No bread offered. Entree brought before we finished appetizers. Seemed like we are being pushed to finish and leave. Waiters chatting to each other in the back, not paying attention to customers.

Excellent restaurant, we had a big party of 14 and it was a Friday night. I think our waiter did a good job but she could have used a little more help from the bus staff.
