   It was closed when I arrived. Despite me reconfirming through the app, the restaurant was closed. Our plans for our large booking were ruined. Very very frustrating.

   Amazing food in Brick Lane. Booked last minute as we couldn’t get a table elsewhere and it didn’t disappoint. Food was delicious and such good value for money! The staff were lovely and service was brilliant. Will definitely be back!

   We arrived on time for our 8:30 booking and were told on arrival that two parties of 7 had each arrived late to their bookings and we would not be able to be seated. We thought they meant at all but it turned out they just meant for a while, they were not kidding about a while. They did give us free drinks but we had to stand at the very cramped bar with no seats having waiters squeezing past us the whole time. They then seated us at a table about an hour after we arrived, right by the door where about 5 delivery drivers would stand the whole night on rotation constantly opening the door and freezing us to death. We then asked to be moved to the table in the upstairs area that was meant to be our table to begin with and we moved up there but by then it was almost 10 and we were very unimpressed. We finally got to eat whilst not shivering but the few free drinks did not really make up for it and felt they could have reduced the service on the bill or something to make up for the further messing around. It was their fault they didn’t inform the late parties that their table had reservations at 8:30 and they wouldn’t be able to stay past then. It was my birthday and it was pretty terrible and almost ruined the whole night. Would definitely not recommend coming here with a large party, they cannot handle it and you will have a terrible time, unless you’re first then you’ll be able to stay at your table for as long as you want with no regard for other customers. Very unimpressed and the food was tasty but small portions, especially the sushi, which just added to the sour experience. Would not come back.

   Can’t give a review as we did not eat. Arrived 5 minutes early to find we would have to wait as table had been given to a “walk in”. What’s the point of using Open Table if this happens ?

   Realny nice little spot in Brick Lane, upbeat music, nice lighting not too harsh not too dark, overall good ambience thanks to the warmth of the exposed brick. Food is a 5/5, the Pad Mekham duck was fantastic. Very nice staff as well.
