Enrique Tomas - Dallas
Enrique Tomás is the largest purveyor of Spain's legendary jamón ibérico. The Enrique Tomás empire extends to over 50 locations around the world including, Lima, London and Paris and we are happy to be the first U.S. outpost.
Enrique Tomás Dallas includes a small store front featuring a variety of Spanish cured hams and other products to-go, a cozy dining room, full bar downstairs and an upstairs lounge and tapas bar. We do accept walk-ins, and we invite you to head upstairs when you arrive!
Enjoy lunch, dinner or a Spanish Sunday brunch. In addition to Spanish cheese and jamón tasting platters, there will be traditional and contemporary Spanish cuisine. Starters include ibérico secreto carpaccio, and gazpacho Andaluz. Heartier fare includes: asturian fabada topped with shaved ham; solomillo ibérico; and an ibérico secreto burger. Seafood fans will have many options, including two different paellas, Galician octopus, stuffed calamari, and trout baked in a salt crust.
Food was good but management was terrible.
The jamon is amazing.
Menu hard to read. Not many dishes described in English so we couldn’t figure out what we might like. We decided to go to dinner elsewhere after appetizer and drinks. Drinks were good but were $10 for happy hour. Calamari was rubbery. Service was good but we won’t be returning.
FANTASTIC AS ALWAYS. SERVICE IS ALWAYS ATTENTIVE. MENU SELECTIONS ARE TERRIFIC. AND FOOD WAS AMAZING AS ALWAYS. WE PREFER TAPAS TO SHARE WHICH IS A GREAT WAY TO GO. ABSOLUTELY BE BACK SOON!
Probablemente la mejor comida española en Dallas pero pésimo servicio y les falta capacitación a los meseros. No tienen idea...
Food and services was amazing!! I will come back for sure
Fun restaurant with fantastic Spanish food.
I’ve been to this place several times since they’ve opened, but absolutely the best experience last night. There were 4 of us, so we just let the waiter take us where he thought we should go for the best all around experience of the food. We started with “The Jamon Experience” which is a sampling of all their Spanish hams. Unbelievable. The iberico was stunning. Get the experience the first time, but I guarantee you will go straight for the Iberico after that. Just amazing. We had some olives, and the wonderful bread they serve with crushed tomatoes, garlic and olive oil on top. We had the octopus, the pasta and a pork dish that was grilled and served with a Spanish version of chimichurri. So good. The wine steward recommended 2 different Spanish wines to pair with the meal, and we got both. Our waiter was especially attentive and helpful. I would also highly recommend sitting at the bar to drink and eat. A great experience as well. 5 stars!
Loved Enrique Tomas! We felt like we were back in Spain celebrating our anniversary! Jamon was great and paella! Look forward to go back!
The staff was amazing. Great drinks and cocktail list, great appetizers, definitely want to try the jámon special next time!
Enrique Tomas truly is Spain in Dallas. Their executive chef and maestro jamonero are both from Barcelona, Spain. Their food and jamón are out of this world. The octopus is the best in town, as well as their cheesecake (best I have ever had). Service was great and ambiance as well. Will be back many many times.
Enrique Tomas is Spain in Dallas.
This is a disservice to actual Spanish food...the only thing decent at this place is the jamón even though it is severely overpriced for what it is...
Like a quick flight to Spain. The food is impeccable and staff does their best to make the guest comfortable and satisfied. This is a treasure to have in the DFW area. Make it a destination.
Great selection of Spanish tapas, main dishes, and drinks. Be sure to try the patatas bravas, paella, queso manchego dip, and salmon.
We unfortunately had to leave early due to a member of our party getting a migraine, and the staff were very kind and accommodating. What we did have - a sangria, cappuccino and olives - were delicious.
Wonderful authentic Spanish restaurant. Such a great find in Dallas Texas. We’ll be returning many times for their fantastic paella the best this side of the Atlantic.
Did not think the food was good. Very expensive fir the quality.
Amazing food, service was great and ambiance was great
Great experience! Take me back to Madrid!
Mother’s Day Brunch
The food was amazing. But we constantly had to call the server over to order, or get another plate etc. Service was choppy, no flow.
It was an ok experience, we when with some friends to try out the menu. Waiter wasn’t help at all in introducing us food. Keep saying “look over the menu we have a lot of different food” I kept asking what he
Recommended smh. Anyways we tried the sample platter of all the cuts of pork. Waiter just drop off the platter and didn’t even show us what’s + what. Until I flagged someone down to explain to us the selections. Anyways food was great, red Snapple cooked in a salt cocoon was awesome. Will I return probably not.
Best genuine jamón serrano I've tried in the US. Spend the money for the premium sampler of the sliced jamón serrano. The difference is worth the extra cost. Food was very authentic and tasty.
service was beyond imaginably terrible.
we had a reservation for Mother's day dinner, and they did not have a table for us.
we took the table outside, and the service continue to decline from there, not to mention the table was so dusty that we cleaned ourselves with a black dinner napkin that turned brown.
the server had zero knowledge of the menu and was really hard to understand.
pre-mother’s day lunch - great food and even better service!
This is not a traditional Spanish tapas restaurant. Food was good but service was bad.
Really great value for the happy hour, delicious food!
Excellent lunch for four. Started with the Belotta Iberian Ham plate and a delicious cheese platter with a variety of sheep, cow, and goat cheeses. Ordered a 3lb Red Snapper baked in a salt crust that was absolutely perfect. Followed the Maître d’s suggestion of adding Patatas Bravas (roasted potato slices with a spicy sauce) the best roasted potatoes I have every had. Finished with mouth watering chocolate croquettes. Our wine was a Flor de Vitas Tinto 2015 vintage, excellent wine. I Highly recommend this restaurant nice relaxing decor, sound level was comfortable, the food is superb, and the service is very attentive and helpful. It is expensive so be prepared but they delivered one of the best meals I have had.
The new space is cool, but the food and the service were disappointing. We first ordered the jamon bites as an appetizer they were very tough. As main dishes we then ordered a burger which turned out to flavorless, the octopus was ok but the worst part was the paella which came 45 minutes after the other guests were served ( nothing was said when the order was made). We really wanted to love this place..
We had a horrible experience at Enrique Tomas. The service was horrendous. We were never offered anything to drink other than the water that the waiter served us. That's strange since they have a full menu of wines. We asked for a Spanish omelette and the waiter said that they had ran out of this appetizer. I then found another waiter and asked if they had the Spanish omelette and told him that we came to that restaurant specifically to eat that. He later came back with the Spanish omelette. The presa iberica was delicious but the portion was small. The pasta carbonara was nothing to brag about. The waiter took what it seemed 15 minutes to give us a bill when asked for it. The credit card bill then came higher than the cost of the food. I asked that it be changed. The waiter came back 15 minutes later and again overcharged me. I asked that it be changed again and then finally came back with the right bill another 15 minutes later. I've never experienced such bad service. I am still in awe of what happened.
A bit pricey but great food and service.
Excellent service and good food! Nice atmosphere.
Fantastic authentic restaurant for friends to meet, great drinks, food to share. Service was fantastic, the waiters are great sales people. Happy hour is awesome- ability to choose several items off of the HH menu. Overall great experience.
Excellent food and service. The jamon de campo is a must try!
My experience was good. The Jamon was wonderful. The other food was ok. I’ll give them a pass on the wine list and another
chance to correct...most selections I wanted were unavailable. The list is heavily swayed towards Tempranillo. I’d like to see more Garnacha and a better variety overall. Considering we’re evolving from Covid, I’ll give them a second chance. But, for now, Barcelona is the all around better choice.
Good plan for a date! Love the jamón, but not the same as Spain it must be made for US..
The first two wines we ordered they were out of...the third one we ordered was $120 on the menu, but retailed for $20- 6 X markup! Never seen a markup that high, and we felt ripped off...would never go back for that reason alone After telling the waiter I didn’t eat pork or beef he brought a dish with pork -had to send it back...the seafood paella was just ok...no reason to return
Food was great
Way over priced, foods not all that !
Absolutely delicious. Stellar service. Will return.
