We invited another couple to join us in trying out this reataurant. I had been wanting to try it since it opened, but we live 2 hours away. I’m so glad we finally made it!! Did NOT disappoint. Best Spanish jamon since we left Spain. If you want amazing food, friendly service, and a great dinner experience, try Enrique Tomas!
We came for the wine and the Jamón. We kept it simple and ordered the cheese plate, the jamón experience for 2 and pan con tomate. A few glasses of rioja and some interesting conversation made for a great night. The pace of our visit was very Spanish too, no rush. We will definitely be back.
We came for my son’s birthday! It was superb! The biggest hit was the seafood paella!
The tapas were good but most overpriced for the value.
Waitress wasn’t exactly thrilled to be serving our party. She came by a few times very quickly as we first sat down and then it was hard to get her attention. Price was a little much for food we got and the drinks. Presentation of the surf and turf option was great but the taste was lacking.
We had a great dining experience but we were constantly told that “they didn’t have that tonight”. We were dining early on Saturday night so it wasn’t that they ran out of something - they just were no longer serving that item. Our server mentioned that they needed to update their menus.
Everything we ordered was wonderful. We also ordered sangria, which we did not see in the menu. It was all so delicious!
The food was excellent. We will be back
It was great, food was amazing just like always! Will definitely be back
We absolutely loved this restaurant. The choices were amazing. Food was cooked and prepared perfectly. The wine list included many options especially Spanish wines. We will definitely be back.
Food and service is fantastic
Great good and cocktails. Only bad thing was a major wreck on 75. Tons of fire trucks and ambulances passing by made the patio a little loud at times.
Restaurant was empty. Despite that service was not very attentive. Regardless, the food was exceptional.
Incredible food, great ambiance. Alfonso was a great waiter! Everything we had was excellent. I'd recommend the mushroom croquetas, the patatas bravas, and obviously the Jamon Iberico. Will definitely be coming back!
Food was great and so was the service! We love this place.
Wonderful food and service!
loved the Jamon -- nice to have the similar Galician experience... patatas bravas and 36 month iberico jamon were great highlights.
awesome large table in the back of the restaurant for a really good family lunch.
This was our first time to experience this restaurant. It is extraordinary, the service was incredible and the food extraordinary. You have to embrace it's authentic Spanish style and tapas style experience and at the end of the night you will instantly want to return.
I’ve travelled to Spain many times and hands down Enrique Tomas is about as authentic as you can get in the US. I highly recommended for those who want to try the Spanish cuisine for the first time and for those who know the Spanish dishes, have an open mind because with the right menus items, Enrique Tomas will satisfy your Spanish cravings.
Love the food abs the ambience
Love this place. The jamón is amazing!
Place is just wonderful, food was very good, reasonably priced. The only negative was our waiter, too cranky, he should be in the back washing dishes.
We had a reservation booked and they seated us at the bar. They told us the kitchen closes within the next hour, it was 7pm, even though it typically closes at 10pm. This isn’t a tapas bar as the plates served were entree sized not small plates. The surf and turf came cold and tasted like it was frozen meat and shrimp. Quality of food was meh.
Food is okay, not bad but not exceptional. We went specially for the paella and we are certain it is not a fresh paella, meaning it’s not done at that moment you order it. If you know about paella’s this is how it’s done. It seams to be premade and set in the oven when ordered. Ours had missing seafood and when we ask we were just told sorry. Service is horrible! The worst!
Also the ambience/environment is a little off, seams to have a bar upstairs and music from restaurant and from bar upstairs compete with each other.
We will definitely try to give it another chance or maybe come back for some wine and tapas.
It was our second visit and Enrique did not disappoint. Great tapas, incredible Ibérico and delicious paella. Closest thing you can get to Spain in Dallas. Great service as well. We will be back!
We focused on the restaurant week menu and were disappointed with the appetizers, the entrees, and the dessert. Had not been to the restaurant before. The service was great, but the food was mediocre, unseasoned, the flan was like pudding, and the appetizers had one sauce among the 4 we tried. And focused on potatoes. the pork was fatty, and the Snapper was boring and overcooked.
Did not enjoy this place at all. The service was completely scattered. Never brought the appetizer we ordered, the pasta we ordered was cold and we had to send it back. It took another 30 minutes to get the pasta, so the timing of the food was very off. The pasta was also quite bland - asked for crushed red pepper, they brought black pepper. Then my husband ordered a glass of wine, they told him they did not have that wine but could offer him another type. When he asked to see it on the menu to read about that wine, it was a $112 bottle and when the waiter saw that he said never mind he could not offer that glass. So my husband ordered another glass to which he was told they didn’t have that either. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience, service was deplorable, ambiance was blah.. the best part was the solo musician they had playing. Very expensive for this kind of service and bland food. I will not be back.
This was our first visit to this restaurant. The good was good; our friends who have eaten in Spain said the jambon
I was disappointed that the most popular main dish and dessert were not available by approx 1945-2000.
This is restaurant week! Accurately anticipating quantities should be de rigueur.
I expected more of a better menu for restaurant week. Wasn't impressed with restaurant week menu and things were already sold out, reservation was at 6:45pm
Food was not good. Ham is sliced too thick tomato bread is terrible you should grill the bread a little olive oil
Not worth the money. Food quality was not good. Ham croquetas fell apart as I picked them up. The only thing that was good was the jamón because they didn’t make it. I was so disappointed! I guess when it first opened it was good because the owner was around, but now the quality is gone.
Excellent food. The Jamon Experience is a great starter and the main course - just try anything as you can't go wrong!
We went to this restaurant on 8/20. While the food was amazing , my girlfriends and I couldn't help but be bothered by the wait staff. From the moment we sat down we felt that we were being rushed out. We sat at 5:30pm and came for happy hour - which should be expected with a happy hour menu as extensive as theirs. We ordered 6 appetizers and 6 drinks for the 3 of us. As soon as we would finish something the server was asking if we wanted anything else or if we wanted the check. By the time we finished eating he asked again about the check. My friend and I both had a glass of wine to finish so we weren't ready just yet. When he came back the next time I said we'd take the check because he obviously wanted us out. We paid it promptly and then a manager came over to check how our meal was. He was very kind and made small conversation saying there was no rush but to enjoy our night - mind you we hadn't said anything about being rushed. However, not even 2 minutes later he came over and asked us to leave in a few because they were booked. It was frustrating because they weren't apparent from the start. To put it in perspective we were only there for 1.5 hours for 3 people. There were empty tables and we were never notified of a time frame to follow.
Don’t be shocked by the small meat portions. The meat is packed with flavor! Delicious.
Really excellent experience last night. Food, staff and owner were all exceptional. Will be back very soon. Highly recommend!
Amazing meal with great service and food. The Jamon sampler is a must.
Great food as always. Miguel was great server. No AC, and that just was uncomfortable
Our waiter was delightful, we had a great experience!
We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the Restaurant Week menu. Between the six of us we were able to try all the options. All the food was good, we especially liked the Secreto Iberico entree. On a recommendation we ordered the cheesecake as an extra dessert. It was very good, more "cheese" than "cake" and we all loved it.
The service was great.
The food is delicious and the restaurant itself is very nice. However, I’ve been to Enrique Tomas three times now and each time, I’ve received poor service. The staff is rude for no apparent reason. I won’t be going back.
